When you walk in the first thing you'll notice is how open, bright, and clean this cafe is along with a friendly "ciao, welcome" from the owner. There were so many delicious gelato flavors to choose from but I ultimately went with the Amarena cherry flavor. It was so good and had the same sticky consistency of gelato I had in Italy. Turns out the owner is from Napoli, Italia! Many of the ingredients are from Italy. Their biscotti and lemon flavored were also great. I'll get those next time. In addition to coffee and espressos, they also offer Italian wines and beer. Can't wait to visit again!

The staff member was helpful and nice and let us sampled some flavors before we decided on one. The hazelnut was delicious, but we ended up getting a scoop of the almond. The almond flavor was very present, which we liked. There were also little almond bits. The texture of the gelato itself was creamy and smooth. It did melt really quickly though. Even when we were first handed the cup, it was already melting. That's the only thing I wished was different. This was my first time here so I could only speak from this one experience. Maybe it was just this day. Otherwise, we loved it!

And i have visited at least four time. All during night time. The place is always very quiet and mute, service is dismissible. The employees that I have interacted with never smile. Which is a shame, most panaderias, per say, in San Jose, are usually very positive experiences. Not here. It's like they don't want to be there. Or maybe they're just too tired, nobody likes night shifts in food service. I get it. The pricing for this pan dulce is a tad bit more pricey than most places Ive visited. Even then, I wont take away that it is good quality. I've probably had at least 1/2 their types of pan they offer. Which why I have not stopped dropping by here and there, also, my son loves the dulce cuernitos.

Got 3 donuts, a pound cake, a pineapple cake, and a giant palmier. All good with coffee. They also have savory items but I didn't try those this visit. A local bakery small business. I don't think this location has been here that long. I think they have a spot in Hayward and this is their 2nd location.

The staff was very accommodating and providing a heater since it was just a little Chilly. Our server was very quick and accommodating made great recommendations. My hubby had the crispy chicken sandwich and I did the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both were exceptional. I enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich and soup, but I will admit I kept asking for a bite of my husband's chicken sandwich because it was so good. We also had the deviled eggs, which I highly recommend.

The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Because we were celebrating a birthday, Dominique made a dessert with a nice special touch. Will definitely be back again!

(or fancy little place for the girls!) i loved the decor, great historical building with a fresh clean interior. lots of candles and wooden accents. the staff was attentive but not intrusive. they made some suggestions since it was our first time here. loved their vibe and the way the restaurant was run. food was great! very fresh and enough for a single serving per person. i don't recommend sharing because i loved my food and didn't want to share! i would skip the fritto and try another appetizer. it was just ok. oysters were fresh and worth the price. the radiatori was surprisingly fresh and great for say a lunch. loved the combo of corn and ricotta! campanelle was heavier, good for dinner, had a few fat strings but i'm not complaining.

Range Life was one of those discoveries, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. I started with the Halibut Crudo, followed by the Sonoma Coast Ling Cod, and finished with the Milk & Honey dessert. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The Halibut Crudo was fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The Ling Cod was cooked flawlessly and paired with ingredients that complemented rather than competed with the fish. Then came the Milk & Honey dessert. Without question, it was the best dessert I've ever had. And that's saying something because I've enjoyed some incredible desserts over the years. The textures, flavors, and creativity came together in a way that was unforgettable. It wasn't just dessert--it was an experience. I don't particularly enjoy dining alone, but the food was so exceptional that it didn't matter. From the first course to the last spoonful, every dish had its own personality. The restaurant was lively and energetic, the service was attentive, and the entire experience felt intentional from start to finish. Some meals fill your stomach. Others create a memory. This one did both. I'll absolutely be back.

The Wife and I have been there for a couple of Flapper Fridays, which is speakeasy night. Some drinks of that ilk can be too sweet for me, since the original speakeasies were using fruit juice or whatever to mask the awful booze they had available. But you can also order off menu. The first time we went, I ordered a carrot cake that was fantastic. The second time, we ordered bites, including a pizza flatbread, golden potatoes with different accompaniments, and of course another cheesecake. The Wife was able to order cocktails and beautifully served tea! Service was excellent, as they were very accommodating, and could recommend items easily based on our discussion. Yes, I got here on a Saturday with no reservations. I definitely understood having to wait under those circumstances and I was okay with that. I was told it would be 20 minutes. What I want to focus on is that we were the next group to be seated. There was only two of us. Another group with 4 people walked in about 15 min later after us with no reservations but they were seated almost immediately. The hostess did not acknowledge us nor said anything. Awhile after that I counted 3 different groups leaving - a tota of 8 people. We waited patiently and kept waiting thinking we would be seated. 20 minutes slowly pass by, then another 5, then another 5.. I looked over and saw two tables completely empty. I was literally outside the door after about 45inutes and my phone buzzed. Come to find out that they had 3 open tables available the entire time. The decor is tiki themed along with the drinks however the music playing in the background was jazz. Not sure how that fits the theme. Also, the drinks averaged about $20 and small bites and desserts ranged from $13-$20. I'm torn about wanting to return here.
