I frequent the Nothing Bundt cakes in Skokie because it is closer to my house, but have to make a shout out to the Mt Prospect chain, because they actually delivered 48 deliciosities of bundtinis to our front door office!! The red velvet is my favorite and the lemon cake is a close second! I am so disappointed in this location. My office loves nothing but Bundt cakes. I always go to the Elmhurst store and they get my order correct. But being short on time I preordered from the MT Prospect store. When I picked up my order yesterday the order was wrong. The sale lady was nice and to me to hold and she will correct my order. So I waited. The lady came back with the two boxes and show my the one box was correct I never looked in the second box because I assumed they had it correct. That was a big mistake on my part. Friday morning when I brought the cake in the office and open the box there was no Birthday party hats on the cakes. Phenomenal!!! These are the tastiest cake's I've ever had. My friends and family agree... It was unanimous so now we only order from here for all our occasions. Sorry Portillo's cake but there's a new sheriff in town. Every flavor is better than the next it's hard to pick only one so we just order two. They also have a flavor of the month! The ladies that work there are friendly and helpful. Gwen waited on me my last visit. :) She suggested I add a decoration to the cake as it was for a birthday. It cost a little extra but it was so adorable and worth it. Everyone loved how cute and colorful it was so splurge for the fun designs! They have every occasion you can imagine. I ordered the buntinis to bring with for my 30th birthday celebration. It was easy to order them (i did it online) and they were ready when i went to pick them up. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! We had stopped in to check out Nothing Bundt Cakes after dinner next door. There was a tasting of the Lemon Bundt Cake there and I am hooked! We got the Bundtlet in Lemon (I had to have more of that!) and a Chocolate/Chocoate Bundtlet! These are the most moist cakes I have EVERY had! I would be remiss if I didn't mention the smooth, creamy, rich, sweet Cream Cheese Frosting! Finger licking good! This location and their staff deserves more than just 5 stars. They are very thorough with my order. They called me right away when they know that they ran out of the color of the ribbon I wanted for my order. They provided great service, because my pick up was scheduled at 2:30pm but I got there way earlier (2:00pm) than I expected. As soon as I got there for curbside pickup, I called them up. Knowing that I'm early, I'm willing to wait but the person that picked up my call verified my name and if I was the one that's parked by their flag (which I was). She told me to stay there, because they are finishing up my order it will be out in few minutes. I wished I got her name (I'm bad at remembering names) because she was very pleasant Indeed, I didn't even have to wait more than 5minutes. Everyone is always so friendly, patient and helpful here! I came in a few months ago because I wanted to surprise my parents with a bundt cake for Halloween. I ended up getting the flavor of the month, which was pumpkin spice. It was absolutely delicious! I've tried multiple other flavors in samples and bundlet sizes, and each I've tried is equally enjoyable. All of them are also super moist as well, which makes for an even better experience. I opted for decorations on the cake to really take it up a notch, and I'm so glad I did! My mom was very surprised and thought it was so cute! I give up - I realize during the virus things are not the same. First no entrance to lobby to shop - curbside orders only with credit only. I understand. Later on - the lobby opened - great - after making my selections advised "no cash - credit only". Today - lobby open - and they take cash. Place my order then advised they do not take large bills. I absolutely adore this location! The staff is very sweet and accommodating. I came in pretty last minute for a birthday cake and they had me all set within half an hour. The worst customer service ever! Hope, Adam, and the manager DP not know how to respectfully speak to anyone. I placed and order on 4/17 for pick up today 4/30. My order was supposed to be picked up at 1:00pm. I called at 11:3"am asking if my order was by chance ready for an early pick up. I was advised that YES, I could come early to get my order. I've passed by this store a few times and never thought much of it until one day a friend who was visiting me offered to bring a cake saying they were pretty good. Well the store is closed on Sundays, the day that she visited, and so I got no cake. Fast forward a few weeks --- I no longer live or frequent the Randhurst mall area as I once did when I lived in Des Plaines, so when I was in the area the other day, I decided to stop by and see what the fuss was. I was greeted immediately by the associate and she mentioned that they were sampling lemon raspberry that day. I helped myself to a piece and MMM!! moist and delicious!! I immediately purchased 3 "single serving" bundlets ($3.99 each). The bundlets are quite large and may be considered a single serving if you were Hagrid-sized or something. I was able to eat each one across 2 sittings...and did not feel deprived like I sometimes do when I try to split a too-small (cup)cake into multiple servings. The flavors I got were red velvet, white white chocolate, and lemon raspberry. All three were delicious. The red velvet was a little surprising to me because of the chocolate chips. I've had my fair share of red velvet cakes and am quite familiar with them, so I did not bother to read the description at the store. When I bit into the cake, my teeth hit something hard. Crunch crunch crunch. There were chocolate chips in the cake. The cake was still very tasty, but I don't feel the chips add anything to it. I could do without - in fact, they slowed down my chewing process! And since the cakes were chilled, the chips were just hard, and didn't even feel very chocolately. Maybe next time I will heat it up a bit to melt them?? That's a bit too much effort for me. I thought there was an appropriate amount of frosting although there is a giant glob in the center that can be overwhelming especially because there is no cake under there! You can eat or remove it pretty easily so no worries. I'd rather have too much frosting than too little. read more

I've never been much of a cake person but when I tried the chocolate chocolate bundt for the first time when a coworker brought it in, I had to find out where it was from and where the nearest bakery was to me! We came here after seeing them on the American Express small business Saturday list. The shop is adorable and displays all of their products extremely well. The girls working there were super polite, helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of flavors. We sampled red velvet and purchased the assorted dozen to serve at a party. Everyone loved them! They are very moist and flavorful. The cream cheese frosting goes well with the flavors we tasted and wasn't too rich or overpowering (like cream cheese frosting can sometimes be). We will definitely be back! read more
