Wow these are tasty little treats. This place is amazing! My wife's friend picked up a couple dozen of these when they came to visit us in several different flavors. Oh my word.... The lemon is great, the pumpkin was delicous, my wife loved the chocolate lava flow, and my daughters loved the red velvet and vanilla. They were all excellent, moist, not overly sweet, perfect frosting and on and on! I like to zap them for 10 seconds in the microwave to warm everything up..... I placed an order last Saturday at Nothing Bundt Cakes on Perryville Rd for a pick up today Sunday. They are closed on Sundays. I was not aware of this until I arrived at the store today. I was very upset because I was hosting a Baby shower and had no cake. I called the store and left a message. To my surprise the owner called me back within an hour. I must say I received concierge service. The cake were delivered to shower before it started and to top the delivery I received some mini Bunt cakes as well. I went in for my first time this week. I went sent a buy one get one free coupon for Mother's Day in the mail. The establishment is very ascetically pleasing and pretty. I tried my bundtlettes when I got home. They weren't bad. But they were so very sweet I couldn't take more than a couple bites. I also felt like I was just eating a large cupcake. The consistency is moist and light. So not bad but not what I would think of when I think of Bundts. Overall a nice place. If you have sweet tooth this is the place for you. read more

The Geneva Illinois store is neat, clean, and well organized. I was able to pick up several gifts in various price ranges. I ordered mini Bundt Cakes ( 12) of them online, and I asked for six in each box, when I showed up, I asked the young lady, I requested an extra box, and she said No. , we don't give extra boxes out, I asked her can I have a bag she said No, the problem was the unwillingness and unprofessional person, she didn't care if I was not happy. her attitude was that what you order, that what you get, I looked on there website and no where was there a clause, that you only get one box and no bag. So I left and went to a local restaurant around the corner, and asked for a box, I said offered to pay for it, and they said no. It on the house. Nothing Bundt cakes would not even let me pay for another box. I called back to ask to talk to a manager, and left my information. I got a voice mail from the owner, stated that it a corporate policy no extra boxes, ( did not see that on the website, they just did want to accommodate a customer). they said the cake would move all over if they put them in a differ box. ( note I paid for the cake, who care if they moved, it was my money who bought them.) Note: the cake taste fine, But because of the unprofessional and high and might owner and staff, thinking they our better then there customers. Besides the tantalizing display of various cakes and cake sizes, there are shelves with an interesting variety of upscale items that could be holding that one perfect gift for yourself, or a special friend. The Bundt cakes were deliciously soft, moist, and tasty with a nice topping design of cream cheese frosting. The price is fair enough for the quantity and quality. It makes me sad to give Nothing Bundt Cakes a 2 star rating because we love the franchise as a whole. However, the service that we received from this store was anything but positive. Our first few interactions while planning the order for my daughter's wedding were with Kathy (owner) and she is amazing! She made us feel comfortable with the process and was always kind and professional. As we got closer to the wedding, Jana (owner) and Brittany (manager) started helping us. Brittany was great. She was also kind and professional. The 2 star rating goes to Jana. We were treated so poorly that my husband wanted to cancel the entire order one week before the wedding. It is hard to believe that an owner of an establishment like NBC would treat customers the way she treated me and then also my daughter. If she had spoken respectfully, my guess is that we could have reached a better solution for her. My main tip to anyone who is wanting to place a large order from this location is to request a written contract with all conditions spelled out. Do not trust any verbal communication from them. I learned a big lesson and I hope to help someone else avoid the stress that this caused us. To be fair, the bundt cakes were delicious, delivered on time and a huge hit at the wedding! read more

The bundlet tower use to cost $6.49 and now they list everything separate. It cost $4.49 for the bundlet cake, $2.00 for the ribbon and $1.00 for the flower. What a ripoff. The cake is good, but not earth shattering. It's bundt cake with very sweet cream cheese frosting. The first cake I purchased was full sized, and while my guests seemed to enjoy it, the cake almost seemed under cooked to me. The second time I went in, I ordered several mini bundt cakes, and when I got them home, some of the flavors were wrong. The young people who work there should probably pay attention to customers when they're ordering, so be sure to check your order as it is being bagged. At nearly $4 each, this was a huge disappointment. I live 20 minutes away, so driving back before they closed was not an option. I won't go out of my way to go here again. I have to say - I only stopped today because of the line. I drove past it earlier in the day while running errands and I saw a line. When I drove past again, there was no line. By the time I made it to the door, there was a line again. No big deal. It was the day before Mother's Day - so yes - they were busy. And the ladies running the counter were patient and efficient. It was my first time there and my questions were answered nicely. I did have to wait for my order, which was fine. I found a corner and tried to stay out of the way. The one thing I have to note - not sure if the man was the owner or what, but he was overly fixated on the door being closed. There were probably 20 people in the store and another 10 outside and as the line grew and shrunk - people were in the door way. Sure it was cool outside - but the front of the store was packed. I would think with the amount of money being spent in the store - it would more than offset the cost of air conditioning and/or heating that day. If it was really an issue - post a sign. And/or lose a person at your counter to limit the amount of people coming in. Seriously. People in line were chatting and being friendly and no one was getting grumpy about the line or the wait. For the man to get grumpy about the door - it seemed a little much. Come on - it is Mother's Day - what were you expecting? This can't be the first time you've had a busy day. They had samples of the strawberry cream - it was amazing. I agree with some other reviewers, the cream cheese frosting puts it over the top. Looking forward to trying the chocolate chip, vanilla and lemon. Probably will try it again. Again - kudos to the cashiers - they kept their cool and were polite the entire time. I ordered three dozen buntinis for a birthday party and they turned out great. I got every flavor they had to offer, except carrot cake. Everyone at the party enjoyed them. I liked that they aren't topped with a ton of icing like the usual cupcakes that are made at bakery's. And the price was very affordable compared to bakery's around Rockford.
