So I love when I can find a place that offers a choice-such as a bakery that provides vegan options-and that are tasty! This adorable cafe serves so many amazing treats! I ordered a pie for Thanksgiving and was so pleased with it. Not only did I not have to bake (something alone to be thankful for), but it was delicious! So Cupcake has so many different flavors of cupcakes to choose from. You can choose small or large…read morecupcakes. The small are $2.50 and the regular size are $4.50. Each day they have different flavors available. On my most recent visit, we picked out 12 mini cupcakes which cost about $25. We enjoyed red velvet, carrot cake, root beer, key lime, chocolate raspberry, and some different versions of chocolate cake with chocolate icing, or cream cheese icing, and yellow cake with chocolate icing. My favorite cupcake at So Cupcake is the red velvet with cream cheese frosting! There was a young children's party there the day we visited, and people from the party were on both sides of the seating areas where you walk in. It almost felt like we were walking in to a private party. It might be helpful to have parties on one side of the area so that people visiting who are not at the party can also have a place to sit if they choose. There was an older couple visiting in line before us, who both had walkers, and it was challenging for them to move around the party in order to get their cupcakes to take home. The woman behind the counter was friendly and patient, but went from touching our cupcakes, to ringing our purchase up, and not washing her hands or wearing gloves when touching anything. So Cupcake is a great local business with so many different flavors. Perfect to order for birthdays and other celebrations. They usually have flavors advertised on a board in front of their parking lot, which always makes you want to stop in and grab a freshly baked treat!

I understand she said that she wanted to make them special by adding flavor, but when you order vanilla cream cheese frosting and chocolate cake for kids, orange should not be "added" when these were custom ordered. She refused even a partial refund but apologized for changing my order. Waste of $50. I would not recommend this baker. The cupcakes were also very dry, unfortunately but I wouldn't have minded that if they were the flavor I signed off on in my order. I understand mistakes are made, but a good business takes care of their customers and tries to make it right. She also said she made extra for me to be nice but honestly, I would have preferred the correct cupcakes and less of them :(. Giving me more than I needed does not make up for making orange chocolate cupcakes instead of vanilla. I'd have been better off ordering from a grocery store.
