I wish I took a picture of the bottom so you could see how much vanilla and cinnamon and yumminess was at the bottom of this French toast. The maple syrup was real maple syrup because you could taste it. I was so happy The bathrooms were big and clean and they had period products into women's bathroom. . Fast forward many years to when I finally made a visit with my adult son. The young lady who was working the register was so unwelcome that we felt awkward just being there. She gave off vibes of being annoyed and interrupted as well as incredibly bored. I would have loved to talk to someone about the history of the business and learn a little about why it's special, but she was barely interested in ringing up the order. Perhaps they can get by on their legacy alone, but with service like that, I'd be concerned if I were the owner.

The "cheezecake" is a little odd (but still good) compared to everything else we tried, probably because it lacks eggs and I'm not sure what the replacement is.
