    Buffalo wings

I stopped into Nothingman on a Monday evening for their wing special. It wasn't busy so I was able to sit wherever. I opted to sit outside on the patio since it was so nice out. There's a bar both inside and on the patio. My service was great- my waiter didn't overly check on me but he didn't abandon me either. lol I ordered the buffalo wings, with a side of ranch and carrots and celery. My food came out quick! The wings were delicious as was the ranch. This is a fun little chill spot on Mt. Washington. Bonus points is that you can easily walk down to the overlooks from Nothingman. I'll definitely be back!

This was my first time since this place was Red Beards. They did a great job updating the inside, more tvs, the lighting is much cleaner. The food was super good, the chicken was really juicy and well seasoned in the wrap. The smash burger was also really good. The nachos weren't my favorite, too much bbq and not enough toppings on it. Service was quick, overall good value.

HOLY SMOKES!!!! Everything we had here was God tier food but the Crab Rangoon Fries and Nobu Chicken Sandwich elevated me to a place not much food has taken me before. I cannot say enough amazing things about Nothing Man (name change soon from Shiloh Plate & Pour) from the owners to the chef to the chefs wife who makes all the desserts in house, this place is a must go. I can sit here and bore you with an explanation of each item but I will spare you and just tell you to trust me and go for yourself. Crab Rangoon Fries, Nobu Chicken Sandwich and whatever the tiramisu flavor of the month is, get it all and you'll leave happy, full and ready to plan your next visit. Everything is made in house except the bread (bread works) & ketchup (Heinz). I am pissed at myself for not leaving leftover so I could enjoy this for a 2nd day in a row.

Service was so good, we never needed to wait to ask for anything which was great. The food was better than the apps, but the apps were still good! We had the novo fries, there was just so much going on, they were good. But the smashburger... that was amazing.

As a first timer to Shiloh Plate and Pour, i came with my work group for Thursday Trivia night at 8pm. Parked in the paid lot across the street. Our group of 7 was able to reserve a table. We had a great server and service. I only ordered a drink. I opted for a strawberry mojito which was excellent. Trivia was great fun even though we didn't win by a long shot. I'm sure we will be back!

Firecracker wings...THIS IS A MUST ORDER!

So we were in from out of town and were looking for an eclectic experience. After our first stop closed their kitchen because they didn't have A/C we made our way down to Nothingman and I am glad we did. Sure their A/C was out too but they forged ahead. We made our way to the amazing outdoor patio and bellied up to the bar and that's where we met Marco (Polo). Probably one of the best bartenders I have ever experienced. Thoughtful, funny, welcoming, efficient, caring, attentive all of the characteristic of a great bartender. Due to how hot it was we were only going to stay for a beer or two but between seeing what the food was looking like as well as Marco we stayed for appetizers. So glad we did...the Nobu Waffle fries will change your view of fries forever. The crispy and flavorful brussel sprouts and the crisply and tasty fired pickles! This experience led to staying for dinner. This was our 4th night on the road and I was on a chicken wing kick...4th night and I ordered the Firecracker wings (Marco's recommendation)...finally sweet heat balanced fruity but with the building heat that you enjoy. Perfectly balanced...the chicken sandwich was life changing and the cesear salad was fresh sauces perfectly and tasty! We will go back!

We like coming here for trivia on Thursdays! They have a great bucket deal ($15 for 5 coronas, corona premiers, or modelos). The food is okay but nothing spectacular. We did get the cheese logs for the first time last night and it's probably my favorite item I've tried so far. They do have a nice line up of deals throughout the week, I plan to come try a wing night soon!

BEST PITTSBURGH WING…read more We were absolutely not expecting this and still can't believe it. We didn't have major expectations but hoped it would be at least a top 5 wing and average meal. It was beyond that The French onion soup we saw online and everyone seemed to enjoy that. We're whores for it so had to get. I like mine a tad bit salty which this was and PACKED with onion chunks and breaded leeks on top. It was impossible to get a spoon fully without any inclusions. My new favorite The Tavern Burger. I'm coming fresh off 9 years without 5 Guys (elite) and this rocked me harder than that. This isn't a stupid smash burger. We got a juicy COOKED PERFECT RARE 8oz patty, topped with sautéed onions, and bacon that isn't crisped to smithereens. I like my bacon medium rare and that's exactly what I got. Then covered in one of the craziest sauces I have ever had, their gorgonzola cream. I could drink that by the gallon The wings.... I have never had a wing itself cooked more perfect in my life. The smoke and meatiness on them was so nailed that I could get 2 dozen plain and still have the same reaction. We got the Buffalo Garlic and Dry Cajun Ranch. These wings don't need drenched in sauce by any means or it would honestly ruin it. The buffalo doesn't ned to be creamy either. Perfect amount of sauce to cheese ration. The dry cajun ranch was a fucking knockout. For how great the wing is I would love to see more dry season options with them Cam got a Tavern Dip. I hate dips. I loved the shaved ribeye on it and horseradish, but I have never been an Au Jus man. Would 100000% eat it without the au jus Then the fries. Always team psoriasis through and through. Not sure if I'm coming off the Five Guys high but their cajun boardwalk style are even better. Get some spicy honey aioli to dip them in. Truly just shocked at how amazing this place is. Right over the bridge and cannot recommend enough going here before a game and walking over. Great spot right before, after and during sports. Very high Pittsburgh atmosphere going on I will be back so many times and absolutely worth going Downtown for

I went with the recommendation of the wings and got the Cajun seasoning. They were so good that I regretted asking for blue cheese for dipping. Unfortunately that's were the good ends. First and always foremost, how was the food? An absolutely mess. Impossible to enjoy bc the sandwich falls apart immediately, simply can not pick up without losing everything inside, and greasy as all get out. I should have expected this to an extent, but a nearly $20 grilled cheese at a place that "specializes" in them, I would hope could do better than this. Service was very, very slow despite many open seats. The part that probably sent it over the top was the plate runner constantly spilling the tomato soups everytime they brought out someone's meal. Mine dripped all of the ground as he sat it down, my wife's got on her tray so the bread was just mushy on the bottom, and we saw it constantly as he walked by delivering others. Cool idea, cool location, but the rest was just bad.

City Works Pittsburgh -- Sports, Salmon & Sinfully Good Cheese Curds…read moreVisited: Wednesday, July 29, 2026 4.5/5 Seven hungry road-weary hooligans rolled into City Works Pittsburgh around 6 p.m. on a Wednesday looking for three basic human necessities: food, alcohol and enough televisions to ensure nobody was ever forced into sustained eye contact. Mission accomplished. The place has a modern, spacious, casually polished feel--comfortable without being stuffy, energetic without sounding like someone dropped a silverware drawer down a flight of stairs. There are TVs seemingly everywhere, which makes City Works an excellent headquarters for sports fans, large groups, wandering degenerates, or seven friends who simply need a civilized staging area before whatever questionable decisions occur later in the evening. We initially sat in a booth before realizing that seven grown adults plus drinks, menus, appetizers and our collective egos required substantially more acreage. Our server--a very cute, friendly young lady--handled our relocation request without even the faintest visible urge to poison us. She was attentive, pleasant and took excellent care of the table throughout dinner. Food-wise, City Works did exactly what I wanted it to do. My main dish was the blackened grilled salmon salad, and this thing was no sad little punishment salad designed for somebody who lost a bet. It was a substantial bowl of greens, vegetables, egg, cheese and a beautifully seasoned piece of salmon on top. Fresh, filling, colorful and flavorful enough that I could temporarily pretend I was making responsible nutritional decisions. Then we ordered the fried stuff. The fried pickles were superb--crispy, salty, tangy little discs of comfort-food righteousness begging to be dragged through dipping sauce. And the deep-fried cheese curds? Dear God. Warm little golden nuggets of dairy sin. Crispy outside, molten cheesy joy inside. Somewhere a cardiologist felt a mysterious disturbance in the Force, and I regret absolutely nothing. The wings circulating around the table looked properly sauced and substantial as well, and there was enough food flying around that our table began looking less like dinner and more like negotiations at the United Nations of Cholesterol. What I especially liked about City Works was the balance. It's social and lively but not obnoxiously loud. You can watch a game, drink a beer, eat something substantial and actually hear the human sitting across from you without communicating through semaphore. For a group gathering, I think this place absolutely nails it: plenty of room, relaxed atmosphere, lots of TVs, good drinks, genuinely enjoyable food and service that comfortably handled seven traveling idiots changing tables and descending upon appetizers like raccoons behind a Wisconsin supper club. Strong recommendation. City Works was exactly what we needed that evening--a comfortable Pittsburgh gathering spot where the salmon lets you pretend you're healthy and the cheese curds immediately expose you as a liar.

We stopped in on a Tuesday night and opted to sit at the bar since it wasn't busy. Something important to note is that when we arrived, the music was playing softly in the background. While the prices were decent, the service was not. Our waitress came over to us after our appetizers arrived, I asked for a refill, we made eye contact, she ignored me, and turned around. It took another ten minutes before I was able to get a refill, and she never asked again for the rest of the time we were there. The people sitting beside us arrived later and ordered similar food to us, and they somehow received their food quite some time before ours came out. I am almost certain the bartender forgot to put in our order. Halfway through our meal (which was okay at best), someone turned the music up so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. I'm pretty sure "Brandy, You're A Fine Girl" played three times in a 30-minute window. It felt like we were intruding on a private party despite there being maybe seven other people at the bar. Despite clearly being done with our food, it took us another 30 minutes to get our checks.
