I absolutely love Nourish at the Meadow! Their half-panini with soup or salad is one of my favorite meals. The soups are always changing, and every one I've tried has been absolutely delicious. I also love that their food is fresh, healthy, and genuinely feels like a nutritious meal. Nourish at the Meadow is especially important to me because, after multiple knee surgeries, I'm currently very limited in what I can do and rely on DoorDash to get meals. They are one of the only places I can order from that gives me the healthy, delicious food I'm looking for. I truly hope they continue offering DoorDash because it makes such a difference for people like me who can't easily get out. Cute cafe next to a nursery with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered at the counter and were greeted by a friendly employee. I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the BAT panini with a cup of soup. I also enjoyed a fresh pressed carrot juice. Food was delicious. It took a little while for our food to arrive but we did not mind because the weather was beautiful and the outdoor seating was charming. We enjoyed touring the nursery inside and out. The smoothies were just GREAT!!! I really enjoyed the muffins, too. The ambiance the first time we came in was pleasant, but it can get a little noisy. The service was nice, not very fast, but allowed time to talk. This is a definite hangout spot. Remember to walk around the plants if you come here and have some extra time! Good spot for hangout? The meadow panini was perfect and it comes with a side salad. I recommend the ethereal dressing for your salad. It has a very fresh, clean flavor with a very subtle hint of tanginess. The iced latte with oatmilk was also a good one! It has an outdoor seating amongst the fresh vegetable garden which is perfect if you have a dog. The staff are all warm and friendly. I love this eatery located in Placerville, CA my hometown. The owners of this establishment are incredible people. My wife and I have made this one of our regular spots to decompress and enjoy some great food. Our favorite is the Turkey Cranberry sandwich. It is amazing and have the iced Hibiscus Tea with it and it is over the top. The baked goods are excellent. While your eating the staff will actually come out and ask how your food was and get your feedback. You simpoly do not recerive this just anywhere. The Patio area is nice during the cooler weather but can get quite warm. The only reason why i have not given this place five stars is the parking is a challenge. We liked it so much we decided to come back the next morning. Ordered the Rise and Shine bowl, which did not disappoint. The eggs were consistent with yesterday's. Fresh avocado. Hearty sweet potatoes. I got mine with the turmeric dressing. Delicious. More on the sweeter side to my surprise. Turmeric, when not done well, can be overpowering and chalky. But this dressing was approachable, fragrant, and light. I'd order this again. Being from out of town, one thing I've noticed is the amazing and warm hospitality. The staff was so kind. The locals were so nice. We ended up staying longer to chat with everyone. We laughed and shared pictures of our dogs. In terms of food, everything tasted good. I recently moved up here from Sac and it's been really hard to find a good healthy meal that's not just your typical "salad". Nourish has a variety of choices to pick from, all fresh and so so tasty. I got the nourish bowl and you get to pick what's on it. HUGE portion. My mom got the carrot ginger soup and avocado toast with poached eggs. She's struggling with her digestive system so this was super good on her tummy. No additives or greasy extras. Good quality food and reasonably priced. The food was good, the service was not. I waited a while to get to the front, when I did, the lady said "Hi, I'll be w you in a few minutes" which was not a problem. When she took my order she wasn't entirely welcoming. Maybe she was stressed but I didn't find her very friendly, so I sat down after and waited another 15-20 minutes at which point she comes up to say "have you been helped?" It was my first time there and she either didn't write my order down or lost it, felt frustrating to say the least that she completely forgot my order after I paid. I was tempted to ask for my money back but at that point already waited 25 minutes, I don't know if I will go back. read more
