I will be attaching pictures soon but I needed to write about this business because what they do is amazing. Last Saturday I was doing a wedding at New Hope Fellowship in Shingle Springs. I needed something healthy that was going to give me Protein because I am a radical Rue n Y surgery recipient and Protein is everything. I came into this shop and had their Chocolate Banana Shake with 47 grams of protein and it was amazing. 200 calories and all the nutrients that I needed with no sugar. I met the owners Aaron Steiner and his lovely bride, Tara, who are incredibly hospitable. They began to ask me where I was on my health journey and I communicated that I had put on 50 pounds since October due to a rough Gall Bladder surgery. Guess what they had me come back in yesterday to get assessed and I had already lost 10.3 pounds in a week just doing more protein. Aaron weighed me and he is now my nutritional coach. They have a vast variety of flavors for energy teas and shakes that are just amazing and all very healthy. I am on my journey and this has become one of my favorite places. We frantically stumbled in to Peak Nutrition somewhat desperately as my poor daughter had hand-foot-mouth disease while passing through Sacramento, and she could not eat anything other than milk shakes and creamy smoothies. I mistakingly expected that Peak Nutrition would have a range of create-your-own and/or fruit smoothies, but this is literally only meal replacement smoothies. The staff were pleasant and nice, but our smoothies (cookies and cream, and berry blast, or something like that) were quite funky. The folks who worked there were describing the shakes in a very simplistic way i.e. stating "they all contain the formula 1 mix". Uh, I'm not a car, and I have no idea what that means. And "this component is considered your [insert air quotes] 'food' part of the shake". I had to probe and question quite a bit to understand exactly what is in these non-whole food meal replacement shakes. All that being said, my daughter did eat one entire shake (cookies and cream was fairly tasty), and I forced down part of the other (very chemically/synthetic mixed berry flavor; would not recommend). Ultimately, if you are looking for pure meal replacement, I suppose this is not a bad choice. I'm of the mindset that you should be eating whole fruits, veggies, and unrefined grains and proteins for the best nutrition though, so I'm a bit biased about the long-term role of meal replacement shakes. The lack of transparency as to what processed ingredients are actually put into these complicated shakes was a bit off-putting to me. read more

If you're unsure of what to get, they will make you whatever their favorite drink is at the moment, and it never misses!!! I came here for the first time today to check it out, and I am so glad I did! This place is awesome and just what the Cameron Park area needed. This place is conveniently right off the freeway exit. It's right on the corner and near lots of other shopping places. Understanding that this was a nutrition place, from the outside- I was intrigued immediately when-through the window, I saw a child's play table/chairs in the corner of the business. (Given that I have kids and I was bringing my small children in with me). Inside is super trendy and inviting. It's light pine wood complements the blue colors it's paired with. There's a nice, comfortable bar top for guests and side seating as well. I was immediately greeted by the two owners. They are super nice and welcoming. They took the time out to talk to me about their business and product served. They are very grounded and seem down to earth. Both are easy to talk and happy to help serve in every way possible! The menu has a package of a tea and shake meal replacement. There are many flavors for both. You just order and they make it fresh right there. No added sugars and they taste great! I ordered the Chai tea with mandarin and the chocolate almond shake. Both were phenomenal and kept me satisfied, refreshed, and full. They also have kid options for $4 a shake, a decently smaller size and fun flavors that could attract children. They're getting protein and other nutrients- everyone wins! My kids ordered Fruity Pebbles and Birthday Cake. They also offer recovery shakes- for workouts. I really suggest this place! It's wonderful and I can't wait to come back! read more

This is an awesome new addition to Cameron Park that offers a much better alternative for a smoothie and tea pick me up. They have 43 different smoothie choices that are all under 250 calories with 24g of protein and only 9g of sugar. Each smoothie is a complete meal replacement. I had the pina colada and my husband had the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup which were both yummy and refreshing on this hot day. Each smoothie purchase is paired with a choice of tea that is a metabolism booster with antioxidants. They have a bar area where you can sit and relax and recharge with the healthy smoothie and tea of your choice with zero guilt and the feel good addition of positive energy to fuel your day.
