First, this food cart has NOT closed! They are at the Hollywood Farmer's Market every Saturday. I discovered them last week and enjoyed my first of many breakfasts!!! Coming straight from the gym, I was on a mission to find some protein for breakfast. Came upon this stand, which somehow I missed in all of my years as a regular at the Hollywood Farmers Market, and decided to try it based on the very long line. The stands on either side of them did not have lines so I figured it must be good. It was! Lots of choices for your burrito, bowl or chilaquiles. Some I consider unusual for Mexican food - collards, lamb for example, but will try next time. I opted for the verde chicken chilaquiles which consisted of scrambled cheesy eggs, black beans, verde chicken over tortilla chips topped with a little sour cream. The serving size was very generous, but I still managed to eat the entire portion because it was so darn good! Very flavorful and satisfying. Picked up a punchcard because I know I will be back for more! The owner was very nice. As I was waiting in line, I noticed that she addressed many customers by name even telling one gentleman, this week's breakfast was on her. Now that's community. So stop by! I've had burritos here twice and this second one was a big disappointment :( This was the special vegetarian burrito for $8.50. The ratio of the ingredients was off -- Towards the middle it was just a chunk of eggs :/ see picture. It also tasted and looked like powdered eggs.... Same with my friend's opinion of his chicken + bacon eggs breakfast burrito. Also, not great I found a piece of bacon when I unraveled the foil :( not great, and with the quality of burrito and my experience, unfortunately I would be hard pressed to return. It's a cute little cart am that adds variety to the farmers market but I hope they can improve on their offerings. read more

The First Floor is open to the public, so you can absolutely go in and grab some lunch and check out some cool art while you wait! The food lives up to the Name! It feels nourishing and you can taste the love! VEGAN-FRIENDLY! The owner/operator is amazing she keeps vegan options available with a vegan burrito, soups, and tasty seasonal pastries! I wish that I knew more about this food cart. It wasn't on Yelp, I couldn't find a website or Facebook page, and forget about an IG or Twitter account. Maybe they're into being secret? I don't know... What I do know is that this food cart serves up some dang tasty breakfast burritos! I was browsing the Hollywood farmers market when hunger hit and I needed something RIGHT AWAY. They satisfied my hunger with a delicious lamb chorizo burrito, with roasted potatoes, kale, and cheese. Delicious! It wasn't huge, but it was certainly enough for a reasonable meal. This food stand at the Hollywood Farmers Market has quickly become my go to place for Saturday morning breakfast. Fresh local ingrediants are not uncommon in Portland, but this place really does it right. There are several breakfast burrito options, all starting with the basic and allowing you to add Duck, Lamb Chorizo, Collards or all of the above. Farm fresh everything, which should be expected at a Farmers Market, but really is there anything better than farm fresh eggs? They also have great tacos. It is a shame this is only available on Saturdays. read more

Ramona's vegan breakfast burritos have been giving us post-burrito comas for years. They come stuffed with seasoned sauteed tofu, house potatoes, black beans, collard greens, avocado, and tomatillo (?) salsa. The collard greens make these the best vegan breakfast burritos I've had outside of Texas. Her cart is at the Hollywood and Montavilla farmers market and is highly recommended. read more

Unfortunately I just found out Nourishment has just closed their Sandy location and my coworkers and I are very sad because we love the people and their food!! Upon that news I felt the need to write a review because they are a wonderful business and are very nice. They remember their regular customers well and always have very reasonable prices with fresh ingredients. They are great for both breakfast and lunch and frequently have really good specials that may not be on the menu so if you call in an order, ask about any specials! Great food for omnivores and herbivores alike (as a lifelong vegetarian I approve!). read more

This is a tiny food stand. I want to say its a cross between Mexican and southern comfort. Food is made to order so dont expect to have it in 2 mins. Cheap, amazingly delicious, and you get a hefty amount of food relative to the cost. Ramona is very lovely and accommodating, you can tell she TRULY CARES about the food she serves. My colleague's order was incorrect and Ramona went above and beyond to fix it (15mins after closing)! So glad to see she works with quality food and if she can, she'll substitute local fresh ingredients when they are in season. Eating here everyday will lower my work productivity. Cheap, delicious, bursting with flavor, and nourishing! The owner is super nice and lovely. I got the collards and beans over potatoes and butternut squash, topped with cotija and a big dollop of guacamole. My only critique would be that the potatoes were a bit burnt. But I will be back for lunch soon because it's a perfect hearty yet healthy lunch. And those collards are perfection. And it is pretty close to my work. The hours make me a little sad though. I'd probably go here for dinner if it was open later. read more

Oh W O W I found it! The absolute BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH in Portland. I search high and low for good breakfast sandwiches and I've sampled a lot over my many years in the Rose City, and now finally I've reached Nirvana for breakfast sandwiches. Super nice business owner cranks out the eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato smothered sandwiches. This is a tiny walk-up stand.
