This place overall is good nice building and facilities. But the stupid garage design and taking-forever elevator is the disaster. There is only one elevator running full load at a time with four suspended empty. The garage aisle is narrow and no full size car can make through the stupid door after a 90 degree turn. When I first moved into this apartment from the west coast, I had HIGH hopes. Innocent showed me around the property and got me all signed up. Innocent was amazing. He was very very punctual and diligent. After Innocent took his reprieve for his new born, the management took a huge down turn. These were my few frustrations of the property and why I think it is significantly over priced for the service you get. 1. Only a couple of the 5 elevators worked, so plan on leaving an extra 10 minutes just to make it down to your car. 2. I had 2 reserved parking spots in the garage and for two months i could not park in one of them because cars kept taking my spot while I was at work. This was before management decided to crack down on giving residents what they paid. I couldn't park in one of my spots and they wouldn't even comp me the money for it. 3. I had to get my refrigerator "fixed" 3 times. by the end of my lease, it still didn't give me water or ice... 4. My floor reeked of weed and hallway residents played music until the AMs. Management, to my knowledge, never took care of it because I still heard/smelled it until I moved out. 5. The conceriege was rarely there. I don't know if this is because they had to pick up management's slack but, the "I will be back in a minute" sign was constantly up and you'd have 4-5 people waiting for them to come back. 6. Called management to give my Notice to Vacate at the end of my lease well before the allotted time(which for me was 60 days). I Asked if there was anything else I needed to do, the said nope you are all set to move out on xx/xx/2019. 1 month rolled around and I reread every line of my lease just to make sure I had everything set to move out and read the line that the Notice to Vacate needs to be written so I called down to make sure everything was ok. They said that they never received a written notice from me, now I owe an extra month of increased rent for time that I am not even living there. 7. Half the security doors aren't even secure. 8. The garage door sensor takes you about 15 attempts before it opens for you. 9. Watch out for the hidden fees... 10. The paint they use is a horrible yellow eggshell which shows the slightest touch as if you smacked it with a baseball bat and will definitely charge you full price for it. 11. Your rent WILL increase by at least 10% if you resign. All in all, Nouvelle is a luxury apartment complex that is run by a complacent and untrustworthy management that will lie to save themselves either from getting in trouble or doing work which hurts the tenant financially. i DO NOT RECOMMEND this apartment complex merely because management is horrible. Units themselves are incredible and the view is beautiful if you are on the west side of the building. read more

The Nouvelle used to be one of the top properties in the Tyson's area. However, they are now under Greystar and the new staff is the worst! Maintenance roams around tenants apartments, so beware. Don't leave your valuables out. Also, when you move out they will keep your deposit and charge you for cleaning the apartment even if you clean it. Some of the units are very small as well. I wouldn't recommend unless, you are solo with nothing valuables. read more

Attempted to renew but no one in the leasing office seemed interested or cared. Stopped in the office, called several times, sent emails thru the portal and directly to staff. NADA. building is starting to look tired. Carpets dirty, they used to shampoo the carpets much more often. Kids drawing on walls. This place is a hot mess. Worst communication ever. They just do not communicate nor stand by their word. What a bunch of con artists in the leasing office. They keep changing the prices they agreed upon and waste the time of potential future residents. Be very cautious with the leasing agents in this building. Awful Leasing Tour Experience. For our scheduled appointment with their leasing team, my wife and I were forced to wait for 45 minutes for nothing. We were on time for our 5:30pm appointment, but we were repeatedly asked to wait by a person who was on duty at concierge desk. After 45 minutes, I walked in the leasing office and reminded Nouvelle's Assistant Community Manager, Ms. Alma Zamudio, of our appointment. In response, she casually said that an agent would be with me shortly without any apology. On my complaint that she should have apologized first, she became very unprofessional, impolite, and even quite confrontational telling me how they were busy because they had double and triple bookings. I honestly don't understand why we should suffer for their double or triple bookings. We ended up not having the tour and will never return to Nouvelle. If the property management company, Greystar, ever cares about "Customer Satisfaction" as they state on their website, they certainly failed at least with Ms. Zamudio. read more

It's the morning of my move out of my Nouvelle apartment, my home for the last year. I can say, with all honesty, this has been an amazing place to live. My circumstances have changed, but if I were to ever return to apartment living, I would return to Nouvelle without a second thought. The amenities are fantastic - luxurious, modern, and always clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and consistently provides the best service I've ever received, not just in an apartment, but anywhere. I've never waited longer than 15 min for service at the desk, or more than 24 hours for work orders. They've never lost a package, and I had no idea how much I would end up using the 24 hour concierge. The apartments themselves are gorgeously appointed, and there are really lovely views from either side of the building. I would highly recommend living at Nouvelle, and if we ever return to the area, we would rent in this building again! read more

I have lived in many buildings throughout North Virginia, but I have never felt more at home as soon I walked in. Faisal was very professional throughout the tour and explained everything thoroughly. There were no unexpected surprises and all promises were kept in a timely fashion. The building speaks for itself, always clean and extremely energy efficient, which makes utilities very reasonable. When everything was finalized I received a personal phone call from Doug the general manager checking to make sure everything went smoothly and gave me a quick briefing on how to go settled in. High-Class Service Awaits You at Nouvelle Background: Relocating to the area and fell in love with the online gallery. From there the service received from my leasing consultant Feysal at Nouvelle was superb. Doug, the manager chimed in several times to assist me and provided the same great service. Arrival: Upon arrival - actually viewing the apartment in person I had the pleasure of meeting Doug. The same great service as I received on the phone. This was not a scheduled visit, as I was there to scope things out. I was shown one of the apartments I was interested in and I decided that the living/dining space was too small. Next day - my actual appointment with Feysal. We did a tour of the entire apartment and viewed the apartment I was settled on based on the previous viewing. The building is gorgeous and Simon at concierge is a breath of fresh air. Decision: At the request of Feysal, someone who cares about their resident's comfort told me to measure my bed to ensure I had enough clearance to move around. Something I planned to do anyway, but his comment validated why Nouvelle was a great choice. However, my furniture does not fit and my furniture follows me (it's expensive). Therefore, I am not moving forward with Nouvelle only for the reason listed above. I welcome anyone to work with Feysal and you will be pleased with the service and kindness received. My fiancé and I visited Nouvelle and took a tour about a month ago. It's a great community with amazing amenities. Chris was very knowledgeable about the workforce program and how we can make this our home. We are still about five months away from ending our current lease. I am very pleased with Nouvelle. The leasing staff is exceptional. Doug is always on top of everything, whenever something comes up I get a response within an hour. All hours of the day and weekends. The building is in great shape. The building is concrete-based rather than wood, so it's really quiet! I haven't had any issues with appliances but if anything comes up such as a light bulb, Ronald and the rest of the maintenance staff is always right on it. I am a professional adult that wished to relocate, from the suburbs of Western Fairfax County, to the Tysons/McLean area! I am used to a certain standard of living, and was looking for a very specific list of "must haves" for my future home! I can honestly say that I have found all of them, and more, at Nouvelle! I researched over 30 communities around Tysons, Falls Church, Arlington, and Alexandria. I narrowed down my choices by researching Yelp reviews, taking "drive throughs" at different times of the day/days of the week, and eventually tours. Nouvelle was the most impressive of the luxury communities I visited! My "must haves" included: location, safety, strong management, responsive maintenance, quiet neighbors, new or updated amenities, and covered parking. It's obvious from the moment you drive up to the building, that this is a carefully planned community, constructed with quality materials...attention to detail and luxury abound! My first impressions were communications with the Nouvelle leasing agents over the phone, then in person. I have had very positive interactions with all of the Nouvelle management/leasing team! Nicole, Jessica, Doug, and Ali have been genuinely warm and gracious. They have all helped me in different ways, from the application process and initial tour, to move-in, and daily greetings. Nicole was my initial contact, but has since relocated out of state. Jessica has done a wonderful job promptly responding to email inquiries, as well as in person! She always greets me with a smile and makes time to chat and build a relationship with me. Doug is always willing to stop what he is doing to talk to me about my day and answer my questions, also with a warm smile. Ali and I compared notes about recent knee surgery! Nouvelle also has an amazing concierge staff, that warmly greets you, answers questions, holds deliveries, deals with moving/furniture delivery companies, helps you carry packages, checks-out equipment, notifies you when guests have arrived, and a hundred other things! Innoc, Dennis, and Simon are warm, kind, patient, and professional young men. I feel very secure knowing they are in the lobby, around the clock! I can't say enough about the amenities, such as the beautiful green spaces, club house, terrace (with fireplaces, barbecue grills, seating, and pool), fitness center, gated parking garage, media room, theater room, conference rooms, 6 elevators, and mail room! Everything is spotless, even through all the snow! The housekeeping staff is amazing! The maintenance team did an fantastic job keeping the sidewalks, entrance/exit free of snow! It was so wonderful to have my car tucked away in a huge parking garage, knowing I didn't have to fool with any snow/snow removal in January! I LOVE the floor plan of my apartment! I have similar granite, cabinetry and appliances, as friends that own luxury condos, beautiful flooring, clever design of storage space, an amazing view, and it's all brand new! It was all fresh and clean when I moved in, along with a lovely welcome package from management! I feel totally secure with the gated garage, apartment door entry/locks, fob-activated elevators and concierge or management always on the property. The location is perfect! I am .3 mile from EZPass lanes, .5 mile from the Galleria II and the Silver-line, and .7 mile from 495! I love that I am surrounded by everything that the area has to offer for shopping and dining, but that I'm not in the middle of the traffic, congestion, noise, etc., like Vita, or surrounded by other communities, like further up Westpark Drive. I feel that I have privacy, greenery, and space to breathe! As for tenants, it appears that they are all professionals, and that there is a nice mix of ages, singles/couples/families, and cultures. It is very quiet. The community has also provided opportunities for social interaction with a catered Mardi Gras party in January, and a live cooking demonstration with a chef for February! Please check out all Nouvelle has to offer, before you sign a lease with another luxury community! You will be glad you did! read more

Right off the bat, I am not receiving anything for writing this review. I have been at Nouvelle for about a month now, so I figured it was a good time to write this. I have been very pleased with everything thus far. I had originally started looking in the area after moving to Virginia for work, and I came across Nouvelle. The community is located right near the Tysons Corner mall (you could walk there), but far enough away from any major traffic. It seemed to good to be true at first, but after visiting, even my real estate agent suggested to apply for immediately. I had a few hiccups at the beginning of the leasing agreement, but the leasing office made up for them with further specials. Be sure to ask about specials when you get here!! The leasing office is very good at keeping their word. The amenities are great, but I don't really use most of them except for the gym, so I can't speak on too much. The gym, however, is great and very modern equipment including a full set of dumbbells, a bunch of treadmills and stationary bikes, an assisted squat rack, and a full cable machine. There is an outdoor pool and community area with grills and fireplaces, which I haven't used, but are very nice. The apartments themselves are very nice with stainless steal appliances, laminate flooring in the main areas (carpet in the bedroom), in-unit washer and dryer. I am very noise-conscious, so take it from me that the noise levels are great, so far, if you prefer peace and quiet; hopefully it remains that way as the building starts to fill up. The price is a bit high, but if you prefer to live in luxury-style housing rather than contemporary, Nouvelle is the place for you. read more

First of all, let me tell this, this place is all over exaggerations and overstatements, for the price that they charge this building is not really a big deal even not comparable with same buildings in the McLean /Tysons area. it will be indeed an overprice lease if you decide to sign a lease and don't be fooled by the one month free rent promotion as it will be still overprice after promotion applied...Also the niceness and being gentle is subject to you signing lease with this company. if you decide not to rent, they will disappear and there is not a little degree of decency and effective communication. There are things that people should know about this....In our case, the company (monograme) charged us security deposit plus application fees, after a research we decided not to sign this overprice lease...we asked for refund of deposit and we were refunded our security deposit in approximately two months, Moreover and more importantly beware that if you apply for a condo in this building, they will do a background check and they will NEVER ever tell that this background check will EFFECT your CREDIT score and it will be shown as a hard pull INQUIRY on your report. Immediately we were looking at floor plans, touring the building, and finally landed in the perfect apartment that suited my needs. Chris was helpful and knowledgeable about the building and the Tyson's Corner area. He made me feel at home so much so that I cancelled tours at other buildings without even seeing them. Nouvelle was my first and last stop. I've been living there for one week now and couldn't be happier. Nouvelle you have a winner there in Chris. Thank you for making me feel so at home. This is a fairly new building and I've lived at this place for 2 1/2 months now. Pros: 1. Very responsive property management company. 2. Honest and friendly leasing officers/agents. 3. Friendly and helpful staff. 4. Nice amenities although I've noticed that the coffee lounge has been missing a few things (cups, etc.) every so often. 5. Clean. 6. Secure. Cons: 1. Gap between the main door of the apartment and the floor allows noise from the hallway and the closest/adjacent apartment units to enter your own unit - bothersome especially late at night or when people have parties/guests. 2. Gym is very basic. 3. Closet space can be an issue. 4. I've only attended one community event (Foreign Policy DC Launch - RSVP required) and event management leaves something to be desired. It was dubbed to be a 6-10 pm event with six (6) food selections to be provided by Foreign Policy. We arrived a little after 6 pm and were informed that food would not be served until 7 pm. The first dish was served around 7 pm. They started serving the second dish after 8 pm with just one server trying to serve at least 100 guests. It was a pain just waiting to get served so my guest and I decided to leave at 8:45 pm (no, we were not able to try the second dish as we were still waiting to be served). We also noticed that after 7 pm, no one was checking if the people coming in were on the guest list. I hope they'd be able to get future community events in order. read more

I began my apartment search in December '16, with multiple upscale properties from which to choose in the Tyson's Corner area. My first stop and last (and final) stop was the Nouvelle. From the moment you walk in it conveys all of the amenities of a high-end hotel, from flat screen TV's, fireplaces, amazing decorative appointments, but then the people begin the points of differentiation. A warm greeting from the concierge desk to the full Leasing staff. You see quickly their personal interest in the property as most live here, which was big for me...they'll always have a view from the perspective of a tenant, they care about the property look, etc. Chris is great, consistent follow up, knowledge of the property, understands what you want from a living perspective. If you're a qualitative person, I also built a ranking spreadsheet comparing four properties in the area. The result, the Nouvelle stack-ranked highest every time given amenities like: price per sf; appliances, ceiling height, full-size washer dryer, separate tub/shower options; location; fixtures. Nouvelle offers everything from professional management, amazing location, quiet property, amazing amenities, etc. read more
