I recently had my car repaired at Nova Autobody, and while the technicians did an amazing job--seriously, their work is top-notch--the experience was completely overshadowed by the ladies at the front desk. Their poor attitude and lack of professionalism made the entire process frustrating and unpleasant. For a shop with such skilled technicians, it's a shame that the first impression customers get is someone who clearly doesn't know how to handle people properly. Both laddies are not the right person to represent such a talented team. They are dismissive and unhelpful demeanor does a huge disservice to the hard work and craftsmanship that the technicians put into their jobs. Great setup, conscientious professional and friendly staff who really do care about doing a good job. Not only did I get our car repaired there, but got to experience the enthusiastic warranty after the fact as well. They offer a lifetime warranty, and they're not kidding. It's a rare find when the business stands behind us work without any question and truthfully doing so. We took our Honda pilot 2010 there after the front quarter panel was damaged in an accident. Then almost like clockwork, somebody ran into my wife's jaguar on highway 66. We had the Jag fixed there and you can't tell that it's not the same paint as any of the other panels. They worked with the insurance company to replace the door and the fit and finish ended up perfect. Best, they stand behind their work. We had a little issue and they fixed it fast. Got into a small fender bender... repair needed front end passenger side. After reviewing options of repair places they worked with we selected these folks. Told repair would take over a week but it was a quick 5 days for things to get done. Had a issue after we got home as my horn wasn't working. hubby opened the hood to listen to the relay which was working but then the hood didn't latch properly. A quick call and we zoomed back in Ends up the tensioners on the hood weren't adjusted properly super quick to repair... the horn was actually a issue with rust on the ground (no clue why rust there! But not associated with the repair.... Didn't matter MrLee fixed it up at no additional charge So I'm happy with the repairs at this point... read more

If you have any luxury/specialty car, AVOID COMING HERE. My family used this place a few times, so I came here when my Alfa Romeo was hit. I brought the car in, and they gave me an estimate and told me to bring the car in 3 weeks later. I brought it in 3 weeks and later and they tell me they can't work on it cause they can't order the part from Alfa. May I just say that I'm in absolute awe with the work that was done at this auto body shop. I got into my first ever car accident a couple days ago and had to get work done on my car due to the damages. I was a little hesitant at first since I've never had body work done on my car before but I made an amazing choice by choosing this location. Of bat, Minh was extremely helpful and informative with the work that would be done. I truly did not except for my car to look so good after. They even repaired a fender bender on my car that had been poorly repaired previously. She was well taken care of, they vacuumed my car unasked and I'm pretty sure they must've washed the exterior cause she looked brand new (yes, I'm one of those people that names her car .) I'll definitely continue going here and specifically to Minh for any future body work. He made sure to check that I was truly satisfied with the way my car turned out and if I needed anything else to let him know. Got into a fender bender accident with my 1-year-old car so that was definitely not a fun experience. My insurance assigned this shop to do my repair. Having had no experience with body shops before, the whole process of dropping off my car was incredibly smooth. The front desk guy was patient with answering my questions and concerns and I was out of the shop in 10min. In just 2 days, I got a call from the shop and they said they've already finished my repair. Got to the shop and my car was already looking just like new. They've replaced my bumper and the impact bar so there were no sign of the accident ever taking place. Plus they did a car wash and even vacuumed the interior (not sure if this was true but I'm pretty positive they even replaced my windshield wipers). This shop had great reviews online so I reached out via Carwise for an online estimate. I spent time to take and submit the pictures requested for the estimate. I received a confirmation email saying that they are preparing my estimate and they will notify me when it's ready. I had a damaged front xbumper and right fender due to a flat tire a few months ago on the highway that I had initially gotten a quote for from this shop. When they did the first quote, they also offered to staple the fender liner in so that it was road safe for a small sum, which I chose to do but put off the full repair due to financial reasons. After another bit of driving on terrible Manhattan roads, the bumper crack had gotten worse and the right fog light fell out and didn't seem to work. I had gotten a few quotes from a bunch of places in NY and all were around $1200 for aftermarket parts and replacing all the pieces. I came back to do the quote that Nova Autobody had given me which was was several hundred cheaper because I trusted them with my car the most. I was pleased that they were able to honor my original quote even though it had been several months. When I received the car back, I was a little surprised that the bumper had not been replaced but simply patched, but I did appreciate that they had replaced the bulb in my fog light and made it useable for the time being without any additional charge. They were also able to fix another pre-existing issue with my rear side panel that was coming off from a while ago for a nominal fee when I asked on the day that I picked up. I appreciate the time they put into it when it was already past closing time. I was also pleased that they had cleaned the outside of my car so it was shiny and the interior of the front driver and passenger seats had been vacuumed and windows cleaned as well. This is an honest business and I would absolutely come back to do more body work and even maintenance in the future. read more

N. VA Came Through When My Isurance Failed I was involved in an accident in August of this year in Doswell, VA. They asked where I would like my car towed and first go to was Northern VA Auto Body. My car took longer than expected due to the delay in parts delivery. During the whole process, Mr. Kenny Lee kept me informed whereas I did not receive one communication from my insurance agent during the month and a half. This was the first accident I had been in with another vehicle that went through insurance (rear-ended on my way home from Thanksgiving). I was a little nervous about the horror stories you read about other body shops and I was worried about getting the right repair needed (insurance said they thought I just needed the dent removed and repainted but I was skeptical). This shop was on the list of Allstate-approved shops and had the best reviews, so I went for it. I was not disappointed. They made it really easy. Helped facilitate the rental car; answered all my questions; called every couple days with updates (in total it was in the shop for 8 days). When they took the bumper off, they determined that I did, in fact, need a whole new bumper and had some damage underneath. They worked with insurance to cover the cost and it looked brand new! I used Nova Auto Body Shop for the insurance claim repairs. While they did a decent body repair work but left a myriad microscopic paint droplets on the windshield and other windows. Now it is really unpleasant to drive the car when sun is beating down on the windshield. When I came back to the shop complaining the shop rep didn't correct the problem but was trying to convince me that they were not the paint droplets but hundreds if not thousands chipped glass spots. Ridiculous! Take your business somewhere. And another thing. Just a week after I got my Audi A5 from that shop I opened the hood to check on oil and could not close the hood. Again After I complained to my insurance their rep did call me and tried to persuade me that it was not their fault (just FYI the damage they fixed was ate the front end of the and before the body work repair the hood was completely stuck) read more

They didn't only do a fantastic job repairing my car, but my entire car looked like brand new when it was ready. When I notified the receptionist and the estimator, Anthony Fosu, of this issue I didn't get one "sorry, for the inconvenience" or "so sorry this happened to you". Mr. Frank went above and beyond to repair my Honda Accord 2014 driver's side rear view mirror. I went to a honda dealership a week before and they gave me an estimate that was 5x beyond what the repair should cost. Northern VA autobody however gives very fair estimates and pricing and even saved me $40 from what my car insurance quoted me! The repair only took about 30 minutes and Mr. Frank did a wonderful job. My experience with N. Virginia Autobody was very satisfying. They provided timely updates on the status of the car. Thai was my POC and he was great at communicating the updates and he did a quick test the car to ensure rear lights working as usual after they fixed the dent on the right rear side of the car. I also did not need to go to Enterprise for car rental. Everything is handled at the body shop. They work as a very professional team overall. read more

Service is decent. I was rear ended and this was a recommended body shop through the other drivers insurance. Long story short my repainted bumper doesn't match my car, the alignment and spacing between body panels and bumper is off too compared to the other side. You can still see small dimples of the other drivers license plate screws in my bumper. Long story short this is the last place I would bring my car if I were paying for repairs out of pocket. At the end of the day this is my work vehicle and they got it back to me very quickly. In hindsight way too quickly to be able to produce quality work. Oh well read more

If you book an appointment, don't expect it to be honored, and be ready for rude people at their front desk. Booked an appointment online via my insurance carrier for 8:30 am on Monday morning--showed up and got major attitude from "Shauna"--saying I did not have an appointment, even though I showed her the printout from the website. Called my insurance carrier, they sent information to her, but Northern VA Autobody, specifically Shauna, refused to honor the 8:30 am appointment, and could only give me an appointment later in the week. Hard enough to drive a car that is not 100% to a shop, but then to have to deal with unhelpful staff is just the worst. I will never consider using their car repair service again, and have asked my insurance carrier to remove them as a preferred provider. read more

Very poor customer service, I dropped off my vehicle last Monday and they said it should be ready in 3-4 business days. Been a week and has not receive any calls back from them so I have to call them, the lady picked up the call and told me to wait ( on the hold line for 15 mins straight), so I decided to drop the call and give them a call again, to my surprise they *free* now, I guess they completely forgot about me on the waiting line. After exchanging information regarding my vehicle, the staff claimed she has no info on the vehicle whatsoever although I provided all the information she needs ( phone number, car details, even case repair ID and VIN # at some point) and she finally able to pull up my information. Upon checking, I guess she can't even gets the live update so she told me she will get someone to contact me? What's going on this is highly unprofessional, I knew I shouldn't pay upfront and now they treating me like I'm not even worthy of their time. There are plenty more of business out there doing the same thing they do and much more professional and I wouldn't recommend going to this one unless you wanted to get treated like nobody. I would give this feedback negative if I can but regardless very poor customer service and poor services in general. read more
