I do my own minor vehicle maintenance work but i took on a project (timing belt/pulleys, water pump, serp. belt, plugs/wires etc) that i realized was something i should not do by myself..Since I already purchased the parts I contacted 4 mechanics through craigslist. and got 2 responses back. But when it got to the point of actually setting things up, both sounded so flakey that i balked. Handing out the keys to your vehicle with a box of brand new OEM parts worth $400+ in some parking lot requires a level of confidence that the 2 dudes didn't elicit. Good thing i looked at craigslist again and found Jose's ad. Within 20 minutes, i had an email reply, a follow up phone call and a schedule set up. i also got follow up texts/phone calls leading to the scheduled work date. Jose worked with me on the price of the install, and most importantly did the job correctly (D.I. engines are tricky with the timing belt). He even stayed a couple of hours past his closing to wait for me to pick up my car as i was running late. i highly recommend trying Morelsa out. I came here to have my car's front replaced. I made the employee aware of the problems by pointing out the wheel well and undercarriage. After gathering my information, he created an estimate that my insurance company had to accept and pay for. They spent two weeks working on the automobile after receiving approval. When the automobile was ready, the staff called to let me know. The tire well I had initially pointed out wasn't fixed, and the bumper was missing when I arrived, along with part of the undercarriage hanging down. I was furious. They assured me it would be fixed and completed in a few days. Due to their error, I had to deal with the problem with my rental automobile. I got a call two days later to say the car had been fixed. When I got there, the entire front end was lost, and the mud flap on the side where the wheel well was a problem is vanished. My car was hit which left scratches on the passenger side door. I read great reviews of NOVA Automotive and decided to ask for a quote to have my car painted. I sent a message online and within minutes Jose called me back. He advised me to take my car in for an estimate because he said if the scratches were not deep it may not need to be painted and the scratches could be buffed out. I took my car in for an estimate later that day and my car was immediately looked at by Mario and a quote provided. He explained everything in detail to me to allow me to make a decision. I agreed to the quote and he was able to take my car in that day. My car was completed the following day looking as good as new. They did an absolutely wonderful job. I've taken all three of my cars to Morelsa for various repairs. I own a Mazda, Protege; a VW, Jetta; and a Ford Expedition. They have been able to repair what turned out to be fairly minor problems on all of my cars. The fact that I thought they were major problems probably gave them good opportunity to take advantage, but they didn't. I feel like I was treated fairly and that repairs were completed as quickly as they could get parts in. The owner there seems like a stand up guy and does a good job explaining what a repair entails and what the options are. Unfortunately, each of my cars has over 100K miles; so I know I'll be returning. It is good to know I've found someone that I can trust to do a good job and do it at a fair price. read more

Best service experience ever! Was involved in an accident and Geico sent me to NOVA Automotive for repairs. My Shih Tzu Tucker and I were greeted at the door by Tanya and her puppy Cappucino. Tanya was friendly, efficient, and had me set up in minutes. Mario(?) came in and did the walk-around with me to inspect the damage. By the time we finished, my rental car had arrived. Tucker and Cappucino said their goodbyes and we went on our way. Fast forward five days - I receive notice that my car is ready for pick-up. Tucker and I went to pick up the car and were greeted like old friends by Mario and Cappucino. My car looked better than new - and they even detailed the inside! I have had the car for almost 3 months and they have found problem after problem that the previous owner didn't mention.
