Out of a lack of choices I ordered a Chardonnay and when I told the server it was so oaky it was undrinkable, she came back to say her manager wouldn't take it off the bill because there was "nothing wrong with it." Ok fine, I see his logic. What I will also say is that mentality as a manager to make a guest pay for something they were unhappy with due to a lack of managing inventory and limited selections, he lost a repeat customer and prompted a negative review. I was a server too for a long time. I know how wine pricing works. It would have cost nothing to help find a drink a guest actually wants. Putting profit over people always results in losing money. It's no wonder there were plenty of tables available there while San Pedro was on a 90 minute wait. I'd say there's a LOT of room for improvement in how it's run.
