Once again - I have to say Dr. Reingold has literally changed my life with the successful cataract…read moresurgery he did on my eyes a year and a half ago. My vision is the best it has ever been - especially in my left eye which is now 20/20 and he has practically eliminated any signs of Glaucoma. I'm 80 years old and seeing - driving - reading better than ever in my entire life. The staff here is friendly and cooperative and have been with Dr.Reingold for a long time which is always a good sign on how they are being treated The eye center is awesome with friendly and expert optometrists who keep current styles in stock. I recommend Reingold Eye Center all the time to family and friends. .

I recently visited this office after being advised to follow up with an ophthalmologist due to a…read morescratched cornea. During my initial visit, LASIK was recommended, so I scheduled what I understood would be a consultation to see if I qualified. When I arrived, there seemed to be some confusion about the purpose of my appointment. I was told it was for a contact lens/eye exam, and even after explaining that I was there *specifically* for a LASIK consultation, I still ended up receiving a standard eye exam (I think? They didn't tell me anything lol, you'll see as I explain further). I may not fully understand how LASIK consultations are typically conducted, but there was very little communication throughout the visit about what was being done or why. One of the more frustrating parts of my experience was that I was not informed at any point--either before the appointment or during the visit--that my eyes would be dilated. I am legally blind and have been getting my eyes checked since I was a child (nearly 20 years) and I have not gotten my eyes dilated since I was a kid! When the drops were given, no one explained what they were or that they would dilate my eyes. I only realized this after my eyes became extremely sensitive to light and I got semi dizzy that I had to ask what was happening. There was also no guidance provided on what to expect afterward or how long the effects would last. Because of this, I was completely unprepared; I didn't have sunglasses and still needed to drive home. I was only given sunglasses after I specifically asked. So bizarre. I feel like regardless if this is common or not, this should be something communicated during the process... I also wouldn't have myself if I knew they were gonna dilate my eyes. After all of that, I still didn't receive much information about LASIK itself. I had to ask whether I even qualified, and the answer was given very casually without much explanation. If it weren't for me asking questions, I would've been given 0 information. Overall, the main issue was the lack of communication. I left feeling confused, unprepared, and not prioritized as a patient. While the office itself is clean and the staff wasn't unfriendly, clearer communication and better guidance throughout the process would have made a significant difference. Them sneaking in an eye exam on top of the "free" consultation, felt like they were just trying to make some money. For anyone considering this office, I would recommend coming prepared with questions and advocating for clear explanations during your visit. Otherwise, you're given nothing.

After reading some of the reviews before my first visit, I was a little skeptical. But I will say…read morethe care that I was given was nothing short of exceptional. The entire office staff was friendly and supportive. My appointment was at 11:30. I arrived at 11:08 and was seen at 11:20 (after filling out new patient paperwork). I drove away at 12:30 PM. The total cost of parking for that time was $10.80 (not the $20-$30 mentioned on other reviews). I have to give a special shout out to Thomas for his compassion, understanding, and creativity. I had a bit of an anxiety attack regarding one procedure and he navigated me through it beautifully. I saw Dr Rahhal, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. After the examination, he explained the diagnosis and the future plan clearly and succinctly. I would highly recommend him to anyone having potential issues with their eyes/retinas.

My Background: I have been a slave to prescription glasses…read moreand contact lenses since 6th grade. After 27 years (I am 38 now), I decided to finally get iLASIK because of the technique's long track record and I can now actually afford the treatment. Facility Selection: I was referred to Dr. Berg's facility, along with a couple others, by my optometrist in 2025. I chose Dr. Berg's office based on pricing and accessibility. I received $900 off per eye ($3000/eye down to $2100/eye; the other places didn't offer) for the referral and he has several satellite offices that made it easier for me to drive to. These were the initial attractive factors. Care Quality: There's really no way for me to know what my experience could have been at the other laser correction facilities. However, I do not regret choosing Dr. Berg's office at all. At every point, from the personalized consultation to the actual procedure, I felt that I was in good hands. Both Dr. Berg and his staff are not only highly knowledgeable, but they were also very friendly and made my questions feel welcomed. When I read Dr. Berg's resume and mission statement, I felt assuaged to know that he is an experienced top-notch independent surgeon who used only state-of-the-art equipment and isn't running a LASIK mill. This meant that the chances of me needing an enhancement or touch-up are very low. I enjoyed interacting with Dr. Berg's staff as well. They felt like honest down-to-earth people that could relate to my pre-surgery anxieties. I appreciated the fact that they didn't try to push or sell me extra things. There is a Lifetime Commitment warranty that's optional. However, they didn't press me to buy it and I see that as a green flag. With how they measured my eyes and checked my candidacy twice, once during consultation and again right before the procedure, demonstrates a high level of professionalism, quality practice, and rigorous ethics to me. Facility Experience: I think that it's also worthwhile commenting on their offices. I went to the Arcadia one for the consultation and the Sherman Oaks office, where the actual procedure is done. Both were very clean and well-kept. The waiting, examination and operating rooms are very sterile and I felt comfortable being in them. Results: At the time of writing this, I am sitting at 3 days post-op and enjoying a glasses-free life with my vision being right as rain. As a matter of fact, I saw vision improvements immediately after my iLASIK procedure with Dr. Berg, and my visual acuity sharpened further as my eyes healed more. I am scheduled to see Dr. Berg directly for continual follow-up appointments to ensure that my eyes are fine. Closing Statement: For readers who see this review and are contemplating getting iLASIK, I genuinely recommend Berg-Feinfield Vision Correction. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't scared during the actual procedure--I was terrified! But I honestly would've felt like that anywhere I went. All I can say is that Dr. Berg and his staff were excellent in providing vocal reassurance and guidance during the procedure, and that made all the difference for me emotionally. In the end, I was granted video footage of my actual iLASIK treatment and I can evidentially see that Dr. Berg is incredibly dexterous and skilled. I cannot argue with the awesome results and I hope that this review provides more visibility (pun intended) for the Berg-Feinfield group and clarification for prospective candidates!

I found this place through the VSP insurance website as I have insurance through my husband's work…read more I had zero expectations as it was my first time. It started off a little meh for me as there is only street parking and as I am disabled, the walk was a little hard for me. BUT the service totally made the walk worthwhile. I did pay extra for the eye X-ray thingie but that was so much better than getting my eyes dilated. I'm diabetic as well and I have to get my eyes checked yearly to ensure that my eyes are ok. This was a much easier exam than getting the dilation. Much easier and much safer for me. Then I got taken to the back and the optometrist was great as well. She recommended some things and talked with me about some other issues as well. She also told me that the pores on my eye lids were getting gunky and to start doing warm eye compresses at night and it has been helping. Then the nicest very helpful lady... I wished I had gotten her name... Helped me to find new glasses. She was so helpful in bringing glasses to me and looking up colors for me and just being overall extremely helpful. Normally I'm used to being told, go and look and see what glasses you like... Instead here, she assisted me with everything which was very much appreciated. Overall, the parking sucked but I guess that's LA.... Lol BUT the service was amazing and I think I might've finally found my permanent optometrist!!

Avoid this place if you can and go elsewhere. This is not your friendly neighorhood optometrist…read more I decided to give this place a second chance due to all of the 5 star reviews but I'm disappointed once again. My experience was similar as last time. They are not transparent with the fees they charge you until after you swipe your credit card. I booked an appointment over the phone and was told that my eye exam is $30 along with a $75 contacts fitting fee. My insurance covers my eye exam, so I should only be charged $75. This additional retinal exam was not clarified over the phone. If this were to be clear, then I would have opted out because I have no need for this. I was overcharged. I called AND texted to make things right and they come up with excuses that I signed a form that I never did sign and that they did call me. Transparency is this office's biggest weakness. As a patient here, you're simply a paying customer who's only valued for your business versus your overall wellbeing.
