In 2023 I hired Novatech to install multiple 4K camera's around my home. The house was pre-wired with Cat-6 in most locations. I added more locations that were not pre-wired, the installers found a way to feed the Cat-6 wires without holes or needing to knock down or repair anything! The DVR for our 6 year old 16 camera security system failed. The original installer was no longer operating, so I searched out Nova Tech on Yelp. They responded to my request immediately. I thought I had wrote this review, but I guess I didn't!!! So it is a bit late. I had Alex and his team install a security system to my house. We did 9 cameras, Alex came during the pandemic, he and his team were masked up and wore gloves for those who are concerned with COVID-19. We did have a problem with a gate that was broken, but Alex was fair with dealing with the issue. I don't know if It would have been as easy with other contractors. When I had questions about my system Alex would be prompt with responses and answers. If I ever move I wouldn't hesitate calling Alex and his team to install a security system. I live in a great neighborhood but criminals come from outside our area and steal cars, which happened to my neighbor. We had the crime from start to finish and easily gave the video to the police (not that they do anything with property crime in California anymore, but I digress). Alex and his NovaTech team did a terrific job quickly replacing a video cable that was accidentally ripped by the roofers during some major repairs on a two-story apartment building that I manage. Alex and his team had to replace a 120' cable on top of the roof from one of the cameras to the NVR storage room. This included removing the damaged video cable and threading a new cable through a 30' section of protective metal tubing where all cables were bundled. The camera is back on-line and working normal. We have been very happy with the 16 camera Hik Vision NVR system that Alex and NovaTech installed for us back in 2017. It has allowed us to monitor activity at the building even though we are sometimes hundreds of miles away. We are also able to go back and replay video from any camera up to aprx. one month, which has been very valuable at times. Over the last six years, Alex has been quick to respond to any questions we've had and provide solutions. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable and his prices are fair.
