NovaTech installed a number of high resolution cameras throughout a small apartment complex (they only offer high quality equipment). Alex came out and walked the property with me and provided many excellent suggestions and recommendations. He listened very well in order to understood my objectives, desires, and needs before coming back very quickly with his detailed proposal. After reviewing, he was very open to some minor revisions. Scheduling was easy ... about 3 weeks to collect the equipment and schedule his excellent team of installers. On the scheduled date of installation, Alex and his team showed up right on time. We all walked the property again (together) to make sure we were all on the same page before any tools or equipment came out of their belts or boxes. They were all very aware that I was VERY concerned about excessive exposed wires/conduit (etc...), and they did everything they could to minimize that. A real professional installation job (and I don't say that very often)! Once installed, Alex returned to "fine tune" the cameras and system ... and most importantly to instruct me on how to navigate through the system. Alex and his NovaTech team did a terrific job quickly replacing a video cable that was accidentally ripped by the roofers during some major repairs on a two-story apartment building that I manage. Alex and his team had to replace a 120' cable on top of the roof from one of the cameras to the NVR storage room. This included removing the damaged video cable and threading a new cable through a 30' section of protective metal tubing where all cables were bundled. The camera is back on-line and working normal. We have been very happy with the 16 camera Hik Vision NVR system that Alex and NovaTech installed for us back in 2017. It has allowed us to monitor activity at the building even though we are sometimes hundreds of miles away. We are also able to go back and replay video from any camera up to aprx. one month, which has been very valuable at times. Over the last six years, Alex has been quick to respond to any questions we've had and provide solutions. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable and his prices are fair. I did however get other bids (2) but the other contractor's did not provide us with the background and experience nor were they willing to cover my special needs. I would recommend NovaTech to anyone. They installed a 9-camera IP system at my home as well as WiFi access points. I cannot say enough about the quality of the installation and service that NovaTech provides. They were scheduled to begin working at 7:00 in the morning. Alex and his team were at our home 20 minutes early getting ready for the job. By the way, our job was challenging. Two-story home, minimal attic space, with the router in a totally different room from the NVR. The team determined each camera position, strategized how to run cables, figured where and how to hookup the access points, and then did the installation. The results are awesome. Novatech is a GREAT company! They sent out a team of four employees, all of whom knew exactly what they were doing, and finished the installation by early afternoon. They showed up 15 minutes early, and even removed their shoes before entering my home, and without me even asking. They also set-up the cctv system, and the install looks great. Remember, this is a LICENSED CONTRACTOR, and not some handyman. Don't go off a cheap price - use licensed professionals. They went up on my roof so as to hide and bury wires, and it takes money and skill to run such a business. Don't go business with unlicensed people, who don't carry insurance, don't have the proper licensing, and cut costs that hurt legitimate businesses. Also, you will really love how it all looks. I'm writing this review ten days after Novatech installed my 8 camera residential security camera system. It has performed perfectly over the last ten days and I am very pleased with the performance. Alex and his crew spent 7 hours installing the system....it is hard wired and there are enough cables to make a bowl of spaghetti jealous! Alex set everything up and taught me how to use the system. Alex was exceptional in keeping clear communication when scheduling, which made everything a BREEZE! Grant and Eder were wonderful! We had them come out twice to install a TV in our lounge and they did everything perfectly! During the first visit, after installation, our office realized that the TV was too small.
