Best U-Haul Dealer around. Plenty of equipment and very knowledgeable. Open 7 days, handling trucks & trailers.

I can't stop coming back! Whenever I visit Petland, there's always new puppies. I love the wide…read morevariety of puppies they have here. However, the downside is that the staff here aren't as friendly as the ones at The Family Puppy in Fountain Walk. The moment you walk in, the workers are all talking to one another or they have a RBF. I mean, you're working with dogs! How can you not be happy?! I love my experiences with the puppies however the staff not so much. We would have to personally ask to see them, however, at The Family Puppy, they ask us.

The only reason I'm giving one star is to leave a review. I purchased a puppy in May of this year…read more Her original price was over 6000 and after she sat there for a while it dropped to 4500. The day that I went to pick her up, I heard her make a coughing noise which I brought up with the manager, who assured me that she did not have kennel cough, and she was perfectly healthy. I paid for her and left. I made an appointment with the vet the next day as required by Petland. She was diagnosed that day with kennel cough. I also brought in a stool sample and two days later it was confirmed that she had two different parasites as well. Her cough wasn't getting any better the cough was so bad in fact that she was up all night having coughing fits and keeping us awake. so I took her back to the vet and after multiple test that ran up to almost $900 we found out that she also had a children's earring in her stomach. They let anyone and everyone interact with these dogs, so I'm guessing that one of their guests lost an earring which this puppy ate. I then had to fish through her poop for days until the earring passed, and by special food to help her pass it. I have spent over $1000 in vet bills just to get this puppy well. I had to take her with me on my 20th anniversary trip because she was on so many different medication's and was sleeping a lot and I didn't want anyone else taking care of her. The Warranty company is giving my money back for the vet bills thankfully. The problem is the puppy still has a cough and now I have to decide if I have to take her back to the vet and spend another thousand dollars to figure out why. The Warranty lady told me they had a program in place that would give partial refunds and after multiple vet visits around the clock, care and stress and worry they now told me they aren't giving me a cent over what I paid out-of-pocket for her vet bills. I reached out to speak with the owner to figure out how this happened and why I was lied to and sold a sick puppy and she can't take the time of day to reach out to a repeat customer who's purchased two dogs from her establishment. Not one single person has reached out to me regarding this puppy. I even called to let them know what her sicknesses were so that the other dog she shared a crate with weren't also infected. I didn't even have to do that but because of who I am and being an animal lover, I decided that was the best thing to do. And they still can't even give me a call. I've done research in the last 24 hours and I've seen so many stories of customers of this establishment having similar experiences. I've now had to call a lawyer to try to help me figure out what the best course of action is. These people act like they're your best friend when you're in the store and when you have a problem, they can't even take the time of day to reach out to you. I've tried to be kind. I've tried to be patient but now I'm mad. I would've never left the store that day with a sick puppy. I literally have to take her back to the vet an and they will only refund my money if she has something still wrong with her whether it's a lifelong ill illness or something genetic. But I have to pay out-of-pocket for all of these expenses, and if it doesn't come to be something of that nature, then I am just out the money. But how can I be sure that this isn't something serious or something. She was born with unless I take her back and pay all of this money. Stay away from this place they are liars and scammers and do not care about you and do not care about the animals they sell. Do your own research and buy an animal from an actual breeder not someplace that gets their dogs from whoever knows where and passes them along to us as healthy puppies, who are in fact, not healthy. This doesn't end with this review my next step is to contact every local news station and continue speaking with my lawyer. This location needs to be shut down immediately.

We typically have a small animal, like a Guinee Pig or a bunny. Right now, it is an adorable bunny…read morewho loves treats. This is a good location nearby plenty of other stores to combine our shopping needs and pick up some rabbit food, bedding, etc....For some reason, the prices seem to be standard for small animal products, not much variation, so it does not matter where I stop for hay and pellets. This place is fine and typically has all of our put needs in stock.

I scheduled a grooming appointment online for my10 year old Maltipoo, Bear at the Bloomfield…read morelocation. Bear's a rescue, but so well behaved, people often say he's "polite". When I arrived at the grooming salon, a young woman at the desk asked me for proof of his rabies vaccine. She didn't introduce herself or wear a name tag. She walked around the desk, put a lead around Bear's neck, then stooped down and grabbed his tail. She didn't speak to him or even extend her hand for him to sniff. She started pulling hair from his matted tail, saying "this will have to be shaved". She stood quickly and said "I can't groom your dog, he bit me. You'll have to take him somewhere else." I apologized and asked if she was okay, but she had disappeared into the salon. I didn't see the bite occur, or the wound, but I honestly don't believe he ever would have done that, if she had made any attempt whatsoever to be friendly with him. I'm shocked that someone who works with pets daily, could have so little knowledge of animal behavior. Based on this experience, I won't return to the store and certainly do not recommend the grooming service at PetSmart's Bloomfield location. There are so many better options available.
