They take very good care of the animals and can answer just about any question you have about your pets. Just to prove how compassionate they are about animals, I'll leave you with this story... We went there one night and the guys working were taking care of this little ragged looking kitten who was meowing in pain and bleeding. Well, some rotten person had shoved a kitten into the Critter Shop's old milk shoot in the back of the building and luckily a lady walking to the store heard him and alerted the staff. They took him inside, got him healthy again, and named him Keyboard because that's where he loves to sleep. They fattened him up, gave him a cute little collar, and gave him a home right in the shop and the cat is LOVING it. They've had him for about 3 years now and he is just the coolest cat ever. They could have easily just put the cat outside or gave it to a shelter, but they decided to get it healthy and give it a home and for that reason alone, I will always be a loyal customer!

I often have them order a 10-12 lb bag of small breed grain free food for me that they don't carry. I will buy a small bag while I wait.. This location ordered grain food instead of grain free.. the bag looked identical. Unbeknownst to me I fed my dogs grains and they both end up sick, one got pancreatitis and 350 in vet bills later .. I owned the responsibility bc I should have read the bag closer.. I go back and explain what happened and to return the bag and bought a small one while a new bag came in. I go to pick it up.. they never ordered it. Mistakes happen. I'm okay and understand. However No one apologized at any point, not with the order mistake and not now. The manager comes over no eye contact, barely spoke and proceeded to click on the computer ordering again the wrong food. When I explain that's not it he picks another that has raw freeze dried chunks. Again I explain what I need. He gives me attitude. I had stood 15 min waiting for him while he stood there silent staring at the screen. Being awkward is one thing... being a manager at a pet store and not knowing people can't just change their dogs food suddenly without repercussions.. the multiple experiences here were just not great.
