I recently went to a big chain nationwide tire shop to have tires replaced, oil change and an alleged "end to end inspection". My dash was showing tire pressure was low but I was thinking the dash had some issue as even when I filled tires with a compressor set to exact PSI, the warning was on. Within 2 weeks of changing tires I heard horrible grinding noise - breaks! How did nothing come up in my alleged end to end inspection? I'd been referred to Ivan and his team and called. He offered to immediately inspect my breaks and showed me rotor also had been replaced. Break pad was completely gone and the grinding impacted rotor. He took care of my car asap and I also asked his team to do an alignment. What a nice surprise that his team does a true all wheel alignment vs front only. I'm glad I was referred to Ivan and his team and will be back for any car needs. Oh and he found that the big chain tire shop didn't reset my digital dash settings upon changing tires and oil! Great service from Ivan and the staff. These people are there at 8am each morning and ready to serve you until closing time at 6pm. Setting up an appointment is easy and if you need high speed balancing, this is the place to go. Of course they do so much more. Alignment is also offered with a set appointment which is something I prefer. No nonsense pricing and advice. I needed an alignment in a hurry & called Novitech up. I spoke with Ivan, who was able to get me an appointment on short notice. When I arrived, I was greeted & told I would be up next. Once the car was on the the alignment rack I was able to confirm the specs were to my liking before the car came down off the rack. I was very pleased with their professionalism & their quality of work. I'm not a mechanic by trade, but I know a bit about cars so I looked around their shop & the equipment they use. The alignment equipment they use is a top of the line Hunter Engineering with extended ramps making it great for anyone with lowered vehicles. They also have Hunter brand equipment for wheel mounting and balancing which are a must if you have high end wheels or any wheels that require extra special care. They seem to specialize in European cars, but also work on any other car brand from what I observed. Overall, it's a nice shop & I'd utilize their services again in the future. read more

I brought my car in for what later turned out to be a rod knock. Was charged $304 for a compression test, leak down test and oil change. They discovered I had more leakage in cylinder 2 than any other cylinder. The day after I towed my car to a friend's dad who's a retired mechanic to save on time and money. The new mechanic received the car and started dissembling the car same day. A few hours later I was sent the attached photo. One doesn't need to know much about cars to know that this is not new oil, it was never changed and I was charged for something that wasn't done. The oil is so bad that it looks like this 40,000 mile car hasn't received its first oil change yet. Several other mechanic friends agreed. A few days later I take the head of my engine to a local machine shop after sharing novitech's test results. This time the new mechanic and machine shop gave me a call telling me there was no leaks in the head whatsoever, in other words, Novitech gave me false info/charged me for more work that wasn't done. After confirming all of this surprising news and making sure there's absolutely no misunderstandings on my part, I decided to visit Novitech to explain what I had discovered. As politely as possible I explained to Ivan the reasons as to why I need a refund while giving him the benefit of the doubt. After giving me an over-animated surprised head shake, him pretending to be offended, I continued to back up my claims. After a bit of back and forth and a few clever rebuttals, there came a point in which I was confident I was wronged. Me and the other mechanics that have assisted me in this process are all shocked a shop with such great reviews would be willing to commit such a petty Robbery. Lesson learned, open up YouTube and do everything yourself. UPDATE: Novitech blocked my email from being able to add a review on google. These people are cons and thieves, make sure you ask for your parts multiple times and be clear about it because they will take your parts and sell them to make more profit, they stole my intercooler hoses and horn brackets when they installed my intercooler. They also took my friends oem downpipe and when he called to ask for it back they said they got rid of it and there's nothing they could do. Amazing tuning shop that does everything from regularly scheduled maintenance, engine repairs, wheel alignments, computer diagnostics, and high end performance upgrades. The two brothers who own and oversee all the work, Ivan and David Novillo, have years of car experience, starting years ago with in the service department of The Collection in Coral Gables. They run an efficient and clean operation that specializes on the performance end with computer and chip tuning. I came to them from Miami Beach, so they were not the closet tuner. And I asked for custom work, resonator delete from an S63 (W222). They quoted me a fair price, kept to the schedule, used high quality Stainless steel 304 for the replacement straight pipes, and delivered the car exactly as I had hoped for. I will be going to them in the future for regular factory schedule maintenance at a much better price than bringing it into a Mercedes dealership. Highly recommended! read more

I called these guys for an estimate on a radiator after mine went bad. They quoted me 550, i got it done with a family friend for 250.00. Fine, i thought id give them a second chance so i took my car over for an oil change shortly after. We had extensive conversation so when i brought it back i told him how much it cost me ...after they completed the oil change...he said "your radiator is dangling by a thread, better take it back to whoever did it before you have to call a tow truck". They also said my rear brake pads needed to be replaced. I took it right away (same day) to the family friend mechanic ...and he showed me specifically where it was bolted down and NOT about to fall off like novitech claimed. Also, he checked the brakes and said they would have to be replaced....in about 8 months when they actually will need replacing. Needless to say they felt threatened and use fear as a sell tactic. Im sure these guys are gonna try and pull a fast one on you any chance they get. read more

Unlike some of the posting I've read I had a terrible service experience with Novitech Tuning. My son's VW Jetta was taken for a complete brake service (new rotors and brake pad including brake fluid flush); I specifically told Ivan that I was tired of the typical Miami service shops who are essentially " Bolt & Nut Tightener". I had VW's since my childhood and I serviced brake jobs all by myself but at this stage of my life I'm not up to jacking cars and getting dirty. To make a long story short the technician flushed the brake line and when returning the caliper piston he blew out the seals of the master cylinder. You would think if you messed up you would own your mistake and cover the damages you created. Instead Ivan calls me to have the car towed & serviced by my local VW dealership since the car was still under warranty! So I drove the car to my home with essentially no freaking brakes and had VW road-service tow the vehicle to Essermann VW. So I'm under $750 from Novitech and another $940 from the dealership ($1,640 total) simply because Novitech didn't take ownership of their initial Screw Ups!!! Never will I step into that place again or recommend anybody to the pathetic shop ... Another bolt tightener from Miami with BS Excuses!!! I have the master cylinder that was pulled off my son's car by the dealer as a reminder not to go to any Miami Shop again! Hey Ivan I'm still waiting for your call back!!! read more

I don't really like to give one star but could't pass on this one First off I needed an alignment and transmission flush on my 09 VW Touareg I fell for the thing that they suppose to be good working on Audi and VW so I called them and they gave me an estimate between 350 $ and 400$ with the labor and parts total. Since I live in Midtown and didn't wanna drive all the way back and forth to Kendall I was going to wait for my car at their shop I asked them how long its gonna take and they said about 3 hours. So I brought my car at noon and I was told by Ivan the guy on the front the car its going to be done in 3 hours, and guess what I waited there for 7 hours.Thats right 7 hours took them to perform simple alignment and transmission flush.But that's not all.I was 'pleasantly" surprised with the final bill which was 623.04$ believe it or not ,that's what I paid for simple alignment and transmission flush,by the time they finished couple other cars that arrived at the shop after me, don't even wanna think about the waisted time.Their explanation was they did their best,ridiculous.This was my worst experience ever,don't even go there ,This place it's a total rip off and these guys are complete crooks,they are gonna lie to you for all.I really hoped that I can do business with them ,but unfortunately not read more
