I am not a coffee expert but I can tell if a coffee sucks and that's NOT the case here. This is a nice little coffee shop with some outdoor space and big windows. There are pastries and the service was really nice. Great alternative for bigger chain coffee shops. Not a ton of outlets though and that's the main reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Good spot with good quality coffee. I appreciated that there was both indoor and outdoor seating and that they had milk alternatives.

Novo coffee is an old-time Colorado coffee shop that has been around for quite a while with 3 locations now. I visited the location off of Glenarm and in between 16th and 17th. It is a smaller location which makes sense given the location being in central downtown but they have a decent amount of seating and they are quick. I almost always order a matcha latte when I visit coffee shops so did the exact same thing when visiting here. They do source their own matcha and it is good but I wish they used a bit more of it in their matcha latte. I tasted predominantly just milk as opposed to the nice, bitter matcha flavor. They did do a good job of getting my sweetness level right. I asked for light ice but got quite a bit of ice. No big deal. The internet speed here is fast enough for most peoples' workflows. If you are looking for really fast speeds for large meetings, heavy computation work, working with large files, etc. the speed may not be adequate. Attached to this review is a speed test I performed when they were relaxed and not busy.

Came here with my husband to get some warming drinks in the colder weather as it was right near our hotel, and it was alright. This location is cozy indoors with a communal table in the center and folks working on laptops. Decor is what you'd typically expect of a coffee shop, and the place seems pretty tidy. Workers were also friendly. They were out of their one vegan pastry item, so I just got the Pear-adise Hot Cider, and it was a bit on the sour side for what I was expecting. The barista used a torch to blacken a little cube of I think it was pineapple on a toothpick, and I am not sure the effort of doing that was worth it for the drink, LOL, because it didn't impart anything flavor-wise other than a slight burnt smell from the toothpick. Husband got an iced coffee (he is more cold-resistant than I am), and he thought that was good. Overall, a good coffee shop, and I appreciate that they have a vegan food option (and I think supposedly can also make many of their drinks vegan), but nothing particularly out of the ordinary.

Novo Coffee became my early morning caffeine fix and afternoon break spot while I was in town for a conference. They offer coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and matcha as well as some pastries. I tried their oatmilk lattes twice which was warm and comforting in the cooler mornings as well as a chocolate orange scone and chocolate croissant which were good. For the afternoon, I tried one of their specials the Tokyo Fog which was earl grey iced tea topped with matcha cold foam - this was so refreshing, light, and delicious. There's seating both indoors and outside which was nice.

Wanted to get matcha on my day off during my work trip to Denver and went to NOVO cuz it's closest to my hotel. I agree with what other people have said. The person was not really friendly. Maybe they were iust having a bad day? They asked if I am paying with credit or debit card, and I didn't really hear the first time. The way they asked me again was kinda mean and also gave me an annoying look. The matcha was okay! It became watery after a few sips but wasn't the worst I have tried! The line was also pretty long but luckily I was the first person in line. Good amount of seatings and I saw bathrooms too! Vibes are also okay but I don't think I will go back again

Had to wait for a while to be served, this place is clearly popular. But, I will say the wait was worth it! I tried one of their summer specials, the banana pie coffee and it was FANTASTIC! It tats exactly like banana pudding. I also liked that there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors for customers. I wish I was in town longer so I could try more of their menu. 10/10 highly recommend getting your caffeine fix here!

Wonderful little coffee shop my spouse and I happened upon. I asked for a hot chai latte and changed my mind and wanted it on ice. I asked for a cup of ice and the server told me he would remake it for me! Completely unnecessary and definitely above and beyond service. Also, the chai latte was delicious!! Would definitely recommend!

How beautiful is that drink?! Not only beautiful, but it tasted WONDERFUL! My husband surprised me with some sort of delicious coffee drink and a vegetarian breakfast burrito and everything was so great. This coffee shop was so close to everything we needed to access -- the Grand Hyatt and the Paramount Theatre! So grateful to have some place so close to grab exactly what we needed!!

Ordered a for here iced matcha latte with honey syrup and it was delicious! It came out quickly along with my croissant which was huge and flakey. The cafe had ample seating for me to enjoy along with outdoor seating. A lot of people were working on their laptops.

Nice little coffee spot in DT Denver. Cozy place to study, catch up on work, or casually hang out. Workers were very friendly and informative. They have some grab n go snacks here (chocolate bars, etc.), baked pastries, merchandise, the beans for their coffee, and some seasonal specials too. My boyfriend got the Cortado, which is espresso with warmed milk I believe. There's a cute latte art pour over with a heart. Came out fairly quickly. It's not to my taste but he enjoyed it!

Iced Vanilla latte was delicious! This place is so cute but so so small. The baristas were very kind and friendly. Our group of 4 walked in when it was a little busy but the team promptly took our orders and got us our drinks

Wanted to stop into a local coffee shop while in the downtown Denver area. Popped in on a Friday morning so not that busy. Service was friendly but a little slow that day. I just ordered a latte with maple bourbon syrup and had their giant cookie. The cookie was good especially warmed up. The latte was good but not the best I have had and the long wait for it didn't help for it to be a tad underwhelming. However, I still give it a 4 because over the coffee was pretty good and the cookie was very good. They also have items to go including their own ground coffee for those that want it to go. I would still recommend to stop in and I see they have other locations would be good to try.

The three cozy pods were already occupied, but I was able to grab a seat at one of the two communal work tables, which gave me easy access to an outlet to charge my phone. They also offer free wifi. There were plenty of other seating options too, including lounge chairs and bar seating. They even have a billiards table! I ordered an iced London fog and opted for coconut milk, which is not typically available as a milk alternative. It came with vanilla syrup by default and was very good. I also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. This was the only disappointing part of my visit. It seemed like a premade sandwich that had been reheated, so the bacon was soft rather than crispy, which is my preference. Overall, Vibe Coffee & Wine is worth a quick stop, but it is especially nice as a place to relax, hang out, or settle in and do a little work.

There are towering ceilings and comfortable chairs. There are enough electrical outlets to power a small army of laptop philosophers who are pretending to write important books. It looks like a place where profound human connections ought to happen. Mine did not. The baristas handled my order as though enthusiasm had recently been made a felony by the federal government. They were not malicious. They simply performed the transactional ritual of caffeinating a stranger with the exact emotional investment of a parking meter. The beverage itself was perfectly adequate. Bad coffee inspires anger. This coffee merely inspired a quiet acceptance of my own mortality. It was average in that completely forgettable way that makes you wonder why you parted with currency for a specialty drink in the first place. If you need a nice chair to sit in while the world falls apart, you will find it here. If you are looking for a memorable cup or a warm human interaction, you will probably leave remembering the furniture.

Did someone say ceremonial Matcha? Hell to the yea!…read more I had bookmarked this place for our stay in Denver on our trek from California. We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.
