Corinne is one of those good go-to spots. When we can't decide where to eat, we know it'll hit. This time we sat at the bar for brunch, which we don't do often, and Ryan was our bartender. He set the tone right away! Warm, happy to have us there, easy to talk to. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about a bloody mary, and a minute or two later Ryan asked if he should get that bloody started. He'd caught it in passing conversation, not because he was hovering. That's a hard balance to strike and he nailed it all afternoon. The drinks were great. Nothing fancy on my end, a bloody mary, a shaken screwdriver. Not too strong or weak. Sounds simple, but a lot of bartenders can't consistently hit it! We all got eggs your way, simple stuff done well. The roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy outside, fluffy inside, super good!! The strawberry jam was giving homemade, but I didn't confirm. First time there to this pretty stylish downtown location inside the Meridien Hotel at 15th and California. Great service from Mauricio and felt very well treated. This was just for lunch, but started out sharing the crab croquettes. Fluffy and lightly fried with a perfect mayo-based dipping sauce. A great start. I had the Koji fried chicken sandwich that was very good and we shared a spectacular gooey butter cake with a dollop of vanilla ice cream for a shared dessert. Came here with some friends for dinner and though in a convenient spot for downtown, the parking is tough which affected my experience a bit. Started off with heirloom tomato salad, baked oysters and the carb croquettes. The only one I would get again is the crab croquettes. There was a decent amount of crab stuffed in there and was quite flavorful. The salad looked smashed down and was oddly spicy in not a good way. The oysters were decent but overpriced, only 5 oysters for $24!! Then we split the braised short rib for dinner, overall cooked decent just didn't love the flavor. My other friend had the burger and said it was tasty! Large amount of fries it came with so that's also a win! Overall, some good food. The Benedict was cooked perfectly with rich flavors, and the bacon and egg sandwich was simple but done really well, with fresh ingredients and great taste. The cappuccinos were also very good and made the meal even more enjoyable. The whole experience felt relaxing, and the food came out fresh and well-prepared. Corrine was recommended by my son as a nice place to go downtown near DCPA, before attending a show. I came with 3 friends before attending a show at the Garner Galleria Theatre. The restaurant is located in the Meridian hotel and is it really beautiful. The staff was so friendly and the menu is lovely. Our waitress Jessica was very attentive and helpful even when we had a small hiccup with our order, she fixed it right away. I love going to places where we share and this was no exception. First order of business, 3 lovely flakey biscuits with butter and jam. Had I known they would be so I good.... I would have stopped there! We also had the pancakes with bourbon maple syrup, eggs bennie (with smoked salmon) and the omelet with gruyere cheese. I truly loved everything except the bennie.... Talk about an awful impression of Denver for the first time being here. And to think I almost stayed at this hotel too. I recommend going anywhere else. In town for a conference and went to have drinks before dinner yesterday, and the bartender was more interested in trying different alcohols with his other bartenders than serve us drinks. And after 20 min of us sitting there patiently waiting, listening to him opine on the flavors of different drinks, he finally comes over and says flippantly, has anyone helped you yet? Knowing full well he handed us menus twenty minutes earlier. My wife then orders a specific drink and he says no sorry we're out of that and steps away again. If you need to have a tasting session in the afternoon maybe make sure your customers are served first, but what do I know... The space is cute and tucked just off the main hotel lobby, with another entrance off the street that opens to outdoor seating as well. We started with the crab croquettes and baked oysters, and both were easily 5-star dishes for us. We then shared the Caesar salad and wagyu burger. Both were good, though neither really stood out. The burger was cooked exactly how we asked (medium), and the beef flavor was classic and straightforward. The bun was unfortunately pretty dry, but the fries were great. Portion sizes on both the burger and Caesar were perfect for sharing. The cocktails off the happy hour menu were okay, though a little too sweet for our taste. I loved having dinner at Corinne! My best friend and I came on Christmas, it was one of the few places that looked good and was open, and even stayed open until 11 PM ! We were able to find pretty close parking, although it is mostly street parking in the area. We got a cute table by the window, this place is inside a hotel and has such a relaxing atmosphere, with ambient lighting, and a colorful, full bar, lighting the back wall, bringing this place to life. They were even showing the Nuggets game on their TV in the corner :) and our server Chris was absolutely incredible, so friendly and gave the best recommendations. My friend loved her margarita and we both had salads - I had the cherry wood, and she had the wedge, we both added steak to it, and it was really delicious, with unique flavors, the goat cheese really brought out the cherrywood salad so well, the creaminess lining every bite with an explosion of flavor and texture. We were looking for a new place near the DCPA for brunch before a show. Fortunately we chose Corinne. We had a reservation and I wasn't sure we needed one but they were full by the time we left. The service was excellent and our server, Jessica, made sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant opens up to the lobby of Le Meridian Hotel and we had to go in to the hotel to find the restrooms. We started our meal with an order of biscuits and they were delicious. We had the pancakes, ham and gruyere omelet and the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The Benedict came out with no salmon and the hollandaise was supposed to be on the side so it had to be remade. We were almost done with the rest of our food by the time the correct order was served. The kitchen was backed up. All our food was very good but the corn cakes under the Benedict were dry and not as good as everything else. The restaurant is comfortable and bright with large windows at the front. What do I say about a brunch spot that we chose to eat at, two days in a row. It was delicious and a great atmosphere. We're not always sure about restaurants inside hotels, but this one inside Le Meridian was fabulous. We were able to walk in on a Saturday and a Sunday, and we chose to sit inside, although the outdoor seating is very nice as well. (There are also a few bar spots.) On Saturday, we started with the BLT Deviled eggs - they were very tasty. My husband can be a little bit picky with deviled eggs and he really liked these!! For mains- my husband ordered the egg sandwich, and I chose 'eggs your way'. I had egg whites with chicken sausage and the potatoes - all very delicious! (We ordered the Mimosa me Crazy... it comes with orange and guava juices, which my husband got. I stuck with the classic OJ.) On Sunday, when we went back, we started with the crab croquettes- which was a great choice, they were fabulous!! Mains- my husband chose the Croque Madame- which sadly, I did not take a picture of- it was fantastic. I ordered 'eggs your way' again with egg whites. bacon & avocado (no potatoes this time!!) . **Both days I ordered the Ginger Sunrise: carrot, golden beet, orange, ginger, turmeric... wow- so delicious!! The atmosphere was really nice, and at first glance, it appears to be a small restaurant. But when you look around and see other rooms and the outside area, you realize it's a little bit bigger than expected, yet still very nice and quaint/cozy. Our server the first day was great- very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job. CJ was our server the second day and was amazing. I really did like Corinne. The ambiance is lovely, just a really nice place to eat. And the food was great! We had the salmon and the pork belly. Everything was delicious. And all of the people working there were very nice and attentive. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was given a QR code by my server and told that they get a free meal for every 5 star review that they get. I am just not a fan of guilting people into giving the restaurant 5 star reviews by depriving the hard working staff what they should be entitled to anyhow. read more

Came in for brunch on Sunday. Made reservations for 4 and then needed to add one more, but OpenTable said I couldn't get the 1PM time I wanted, rather it would end up being 8PM. So, I called them and they said it would be at least another hour, so we excluded the last person who wanted to come and kept it at 4. Got there, checked in and was seated pretty quickly. Service at the table was great, our server was helpful and sincerely provided very good service. The brunch menu isn't very impressive, mostly breakfast-type items, not so much from their lunch menu, which was disappointing, as we previously saw their lunch menu and were hoping for more along those lines. While we were there, we did see other tables empty, thus we could have had our 5th join us, made no sense why this was an issue, as they weren't that busy, even though a large convention was in town (and we were part of it). As for the food - The crab croquettes were really good! Nicely made, great texture, lots of crab, and flavorful. The deviled eggs were just OK. Somewhat bland, but decent. The Philly chicken bowl was pretty good, but seemed to be lacking something, a component perhaps to help round it out. The cobb salad for one guest in our party came out without dressing at all - so she had to wait until we could get our server's attention to let him know. He said "that's not good, it's been happening a lot lately" when we told him. What's up with the kitchen? Overall, nice place, would definitely return, just hope they square the kitchen and their reservation system up, as both seem to be deficient. read more

Thank you Corrine for a fantastic brunch yesterday on Thanksgiving. Everything was awesome. We loved the food; some Thanksgiving favorites but plenty of other choices which is what I wanted. Huge props for labeling the dishes dairy or gluten-free etc. That's big for those of us with special needs. Also loved that your place is cozy and filled with comfortable, padded seating. That's another thing that makes a difference to those of us that are older, but also have mobility issues. I didn't need to use any of my aids and was comfortable the entire time. Our server Taylor was prompt, attentive, friendly, easy to talk to and always on her game. The whole working crew ran smoothly and efficiently and we very much enjoyed our meal yesterday. Being told not to rush, stay as long as you like, go back as many times as you want, and then, take a to-go box home?!?! We didn't do it but what a generous offer as you don't see that at a buffet ever. I loved the Prime Rib, stuffing, and might've eaten too much cranberry sauce. Had a great experience at Corinne. My husband and I didn't have a reservation but the hostess was able to seat us after a short wait. Our waitress was cheerful and made some great recommendations! I had the diver scallops which were perfectly seared and paired nicely with the greens. My husband ordered the miso glazed halibut which he said was very good. I had the mockingbird mocktail which was delicious. We split an order of the strawberry shortcake which was ok, strawberries were fresh. The first day we came in for breakfast, including eggs, avocado toast and pancakes, which were all made exceptionally well. The second day we had brunch where we ordered steak & eggs, croquet madame and the chicken Philly. Our second time around, all the food was made very well and plated beautifully. I was very confident that we were going to be able to obtain a table on a Saturday night with a reso especially for a 5-top. We were in luck and had a very nice round table tucked in the corner where if you sat with your back against the wall, you had the best view of restaurant. Michael was our waiter and he was very engaging and courteous. We spoke at great lengths about the bourbon and the meat from a somewhat secretive location in the SE corner of Wyoming. One of our dining partners had actually visited this location and knew of the ranch, the beef, and the care of the cut. As interesting as all of that was, I was desperately trying to find something vegan to eat. There were not a lot of options but decided to throw caution to the wind with the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. The Spicy Tuna Bruschetta was also ordered and quickly the apps arrived. The Buffalo Cauliflower was done exceptional well. I didn't partake in the homemade ranch but the execution of the Cauliflower was perfection. For those who don't know, Cauliflower can either be cooked too much or not enough. These were done just right. Two of the diners ordered the Brush Creek Wagyu Burger. One diner wanted grilled onions and American cheese - which I find to be offensive on some many levels but that's him. Corrine's didn't have American cheese but offered other flavors to which he declined. Taking bets - as to what happened next. 1,2,3... No grilled onions on his burger and then he asked for extra pickles and of course there was an issue with the temperature grading. The Medium was not Medium enough The other diner who order Wagyu burger didn't have any issues and enjoyed his meal immensely. The third diner had a Filet. It was cooked exquisitely and he enjoyed his meal thoroughly. The service by Michael was taking unexpected turn and Olivia, the manager, was called in to save the day with Wagyu missing grilled onions and extra pickles. Atmosphere: dim lighting, so you cannot see the food you're eating. Newsflash, Corinne: a baguette is a long, skinny loaf with a HARD crust. A slice of baguette is the only bread that will withstand swimming in broth and still retain good texture. When your menu says "baguette" in your onion soup, DON'T SUBSTITUTE CROUTONS. And if the menu lists the ingredients of a dish, DON'T ADD OTHERS NOT MENTIONED. Would it kill you to serve a salad bowl with a plate underneath, where a person could rest the cutlery between bites?? They were able to turn the music down in the room as well which also helped. We had a fixed menu to choose from and started with shared salads which were fresh and food. For my entree I had the salmon which was basic, but good. The key lime pie for dessert was excellent. I love toasted meringue and this version had that instead of whipped cream which made me happy.
