Kristie helped us get this under control, so we can now have an enjoyable walking experience with our dog. While we were working on this, Kristie also helped us with some basic command refinements with all 3 of our dogs. One of our dogs needed a little confidence boost, and she taught us how to work with him to strengthen this. Kristie is clear in her instructions to the humans and is patient with answering questions and modeling how to give commands and corrections. She built a positive relationship with our dogs and with us. We have enjoyed the experience and appreciate the changes in our dogs' behavior.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!

All of the trainers are wonderful, however John has been exactly what I was looking for. He is incredibly knowledgeable, not afraid to be direct to ensure I'm training correctly, and is always taking the time to individually meet our pups needs even in a group setting. Having a Malinois is challenging, but with the proper guidance and training - has made all the difference. I would recommend this place to any dog owner, new or old!!

My puppy screamed in pain and the "trainer" started yelling at me to "get out!" and as I carried my screaming puppy out he mockingly shouted to all the other owners "She's just a drama queen!" My puppy would not bear weight on the injured foot. X-rays showed there were no broken bones, so the veterinarian bandaged her leg and we waited a week until the bandage was removed to find out if she needed an MRI to assess ligament injury. Fortunately when her bandage was removed she was no longer lame so no ligament injury. We had an almost $500 veterinary bill from her injury at the Zoom Room and the owner/manager never contacted us. The "trainer" said he would refund our $25 puppy play group fee and did not.

My rescue, Rexi, didn't listen (even when she knew some of the commands) and didn't have any manners. Walking her around people and other dogs became so stressful and I wasn't always able to control her. During the consultation, Chris was really informative about his approach, talked through any concerns I had, and explained dog behavior in a way that made sense by using real-life examples I'd be able to relate to. He understands their behavior and what method to best use for the individual dog's needs. Rexi went through a 3-week program, and it was so worth it! She is such a different dog, while still being her silly self. Chris kept me in the loop, answered any of my questions, and was very professional. I am so amazed at the dog I got back! Also important to highlight is that with the follow-up sessions, Chris empowered me with the knowledge on how to best handle her and keep her progress and our training going for continued success. This shows me he cares about long-term success (and he's able to give you on the spot feedback so that you can continue to get better at giving your dogs commands). Now I'm able to walk her each day, and when people walk by, I am no longer afraid of how she'll react. She also knowns her commands, and I know how to reinforce / correct them. Each time we practice I get even more excited because it's becoming more fun than the stress I had before getting her training, which has also helped us bond. I'm so glad I found Chris' Best By Farr Dog Training, and you will too!
