Then we found Home Buddies, and Annie has never been back to the boarder since. The service provided by the Home Buddies staff is so caring and professional. They set up an initial meeting at our house to get to know Annie and us, to see what her normal daily routines and our expectations were, and to talk about what a normal visit could look like. They offer several options, and we chose once-a-day 30-minute visits where they would refresh Annie's food and water as well as play together or go for a walk. We gave them a house key and a code for our home's security system - which, honestly, takes a good bit of faith to do upon a first meeting. But I would do it again in a heartbeat, as our faith in Home Buddies has only gotten stronger. They have proven to be an excellent and reliable source of care for Annie on numerous occasions. Short trips, long trips, holiday weekends, vacation weeks - Terri and the staff at Home Buddies are there any time we need to leave our friend at home without us. Margie and the team are highly reliable. They offer a range of Pet Care while you're away, while you're in town, or need a regular dog walker. Margie is very thorough in her onboarding to ensure clear communication and avoid misunderstandings. A few things I like are they do report cards every time they come to the house and that the rates feel very reasonable for all that is included. We specifically said he gets really bad skin allergies, and ear infections and his ears need to be cut 1/2 inch and shaved down on the inside so his ears aren't heavy (this has been instructions from our vet for over 5 years for his grooming a)z Michelle, the previous groomer of this company always did an EXCELLENT job on Sam, but now with being under new ownership the new groomer is terrible. here's a picture of my cocker in a beagle cut. The groomer tried to say he was matted and they had no choice but to shave him!... I posted picture of him before his groom to show he didn't have any knots and he was not matted, and then 2 pictures of how shaved down he is now.
