Great place to enjoy a cup of Joe! The waffles are delicious and the chai is lovely. The barista is friendly and helpful. Nox gives off a nostalgic vibe! The perfect coffee shop to catch up with friends.

If you've found yourself in the heart of Sonora CA, down on Washington street, then make it a point to invigorate your taste buds by stopping by NoxSonora. It's a spectacular coffee shop where you won't find a better barista to make you a perfect cup of Joe to start your day, or keep you going! Fun seasonal drinks are offered, which will pair perfectly with the TO DIE FOR waffles and delightful syrup renditions you do NOT want to miss out on! PERFECTION in every biteful. Lots more tasteful goodies offered! The atmosphere is a captivation of charming small town, a relaxing 'feel good' fit...and plenty of laughs from the witty owners, and staff. If you're lucky you may catch some live music, guitar from the very talented owner Nick Stuart. What are you waiting for?!? Get on over to 63 N. Washington St., and ENJOY. You won't be sorry!! Ice coffee with coffee cubes pictured below, for those of us who are slow sippers (Cause we are not missing out on one marvelous drop of life juice-ya feel me?!)

Good cappuccino and unique take on chicken and waffles. The chicken is in the waffles. Great combo especially with real maple syrup.

Can you see the fried chicken in the waffle? Yum!

OMG!!! The chicken (in) waffle was sooo good! They cut up friend chicken and put it IN the buttermilk waffle batter. Comes with a cute little bottle of Vermont real maple syrup.

I prefer them without any toppings but adding maple syrup hits the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

I needed a caffeine pick me up while walking around downtown Sonora, so we stopped in! The inside is pretty big with a decent amount of seating - I also like their décor with all the plants and artwork. We ordered the Strawberry Latte from the Spring menu, another latte with cute latte art and a Morning Bun. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Latte - it had a strong coffee flavor and a slight strawberry flavor. My daughter loved the Morning Bun - it took her 2 days to finish it. Their Spring menu also included a Strawberry Mocha, Strawberry White Chocolate Mocha, Strawberry Matcha Latte as well as iced teas and lemonades! Overall, this is a super cute coffee shop in downtown Sonora and staff were friendly and patient while we decided on what to order. I will absolutely come back for more the next time I am in town! Check them out!

There is always plenty of parking in the front. I would definitely recommend trying one of their seasonal lattes. I tried the strawberry mocha latte, which was not overly sweet but still gave the flavoring of a chocolate-covered strawberry. For food, I have tried both the almond poppyseed muffin and the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant. The sandwich was warmed for me, but the egg was still fairly cold to really enjoy the sandwich. The croissant was delicious though - very buttery and flaky. Definitely something that I would try again but I would recommend asking for it to be warmed for an additional two to three minutes.

An absolute must-visit on Washington Street in Sonora!…read more The Local Collective is exactly what its name represents: a place rooted in genuine care for people, families, and the local community. What stands out immediately is how kind and welcoming the owners are. This is truly a family-run shop, and you can feel the intention behind everything they do. They aren't just stocking shelves, they are thoughtfully sourcing items they would confidently choose for their own family and children. That level of care is rare. We bought a hoodie, hat, and t-shirt for my daughter's birthday, and she has been wearing them every single day since. The quality is incredible! I mean really. These are not cheaply made pieces. You can feel the difference right away in the fabric, the fit, and the durability. What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. It's not just about business. It is about people. They genuinely care about the families who walk through their doors and he went out of his way to offer products that reflect that. They do not jack up the prices but the quality is better than an REI or Sax 5th Avenue. I know good quality and these items are made very well. We also purchased a tumbler for my children, bird house, two stuffed animals, and a few other little things and the quality and make are consistent throughout the store no matter what it is. Having seven children we know good quality items. Unfortunately, it is not an unfamiliar experience to see things break after purchasing. Not here! If you're looking for meaningful, high-quality items and want to support a family that truly puts other families first, this is a place you'll want to keep coming back to and buying from again and again.

This is probably my favorite local shop to get coffee. It tastes the same every time (yummy &…read moreconsistent) and I trust that I'm getting the decaf espresso that I ask for. I've also purchased many items from here like mugs, candles, t shirts, children's sensory toys, stickers, jewelry, sauces, and a Christmas advent calendar. I never really know what I'm going to find in Local Collective, but there's always something I want. I also love love loveee the atmosphere. It's so welcoming, the music's always on point, and the staff is very friendly. 10/10 my favorite shop in downtown Sonora.

The space is conveniently located in downtown Sonora, close to parking and is beautifully decorated with a wide variety of loose leaf tea. I opted in for the seasonal Hibiscus tea and my boyfriend tried the coconut creme, both were excellent. Amala is beautiful, calming, quiet, tranquil, clean and well-maintained, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We plan on coming back again soon and try the Magnesium Soak.
