This was a DoorDash order so I can't speak on the actual shop, or the vibe, or service of it, but I can certainly go over some of the things I got! I got the Marshmallow Frappe, the chicken salad bagel sandwich with a garlic bagel, and the cheese bagel with pesto cream cheese. The cheesy bagel with pesto cream cheese was delish!!! Very cheesy with the pesto which I totally loved! Now the chicken salad sandwich bagel? It was a bit of a shortage on the actual chicken in the chicken salad, as well as chicken salad in the bagel sigh!! But what was there was delicious. Just wish they had added more. And the Frappe it was more just icey with sugar/cream I couldn't really taste the coffee and was kind of left with shaved ice at the end of the cup it wasn't the best of frappes I have had in my past, there were some yummy looking other coffees and iced coffees, I think I will try that next time! Traveling around the country with my wife, we had to stop here for some bagels. My wife knows her bagels and said these are absolutely delicious. Such an incredible selection of bagel sandwichs, coffee drinks, and even the decor is pretty cool. Seeing other reviews honestly reassures me that my experience wasn't an isolated one. I used to come to Bagel Bin all the time in high school when Sarge owned it, and it's sad to see how far this place has fallen under the new ownership. From the moment my sister and I arrived, the attitude was noticeable. The business hours said open until 2:30, yet the door was locked at 1:00. The owner eventually unlocked it, clearly annoyed, and continued loudly rearranging a nearly empty rack while we waited. When I tried to order six plain pizza bagels, the poor younger employee looked terrified and said she wasn't sure she was "allowed" to sell that many. She asked the older owner, who immediately snapped that she *couldn't* sell me six--first saying I could get six *different* bagels, then saying I could only have **one**, then telling us to "come back tomorrow" even after we explained we were heading out of town. It was frustrating, inconsistent, and honestly unprofessional. To make it worse, the younger girl insisted it "wasn't about the money" yet still charged me for a sandwich bagel for something plain, and in the end I was somehow able to buy additional pizza bagels anyway. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, passive-aggressive, and messy. As we were leaving, I tried to be polite and wished them a good day, mentioning I hoped they sold out. The owner responded with a smug "oh, I know we will," despite the case being nearly empty to begin with. For the day after Thanksgiving, the owner seemed anything but thankful. I don't like leaving negative reviews for small businesses, but after yesterday's experience I feel it's necessary to share what happened. We arrived well before closing, but the doors were locked even though there were bagels on the shelves and employees behind the counter. The owner came to the door and told us they were closed, then said they would reopen for the festival and to come back in 20 minutes / tomorrow. After a brief interaction, stating we were headed out of town, she allowed us to come in and wait inside. A few minutes later, her employee told us we could order. We attempted to purchase six pizza bagels (three for each of two households). The employee appeared nervous and said she wasn't sure whether six bagels were allowed. The owner's response kept changing--first saying she couldn't sell six, then saying she could if it was an assortment, and then changing again and telling us we could only order one and that it had to be a sandwich. Ultimately, we weren't able to place the order we wanted. It came to point we were willing to pay for the "sandwich" and to leave out the spread. What made this especially disappointing was the owner's rude and dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. If the business was expecting festival traffic, it would make sense to be better prepared and communicate ordering limits clearly and consistently. I visited Bagel Bin yesterday and had a very disappointing experience. The cashier took my payment and then touched our bagels without washing her hands. When I inquired, she admitted she did not wash her hands. I expressed my concern, mentioning it was unsanitary (ie disgusting), but I was initially willing to keep the food because my son insisted on his pizza bagel. However, the situation escalated when another attendant became belligerent. Instead of offering to remake the bagels and apologize, she nearly threw my money back at me, threatened to call the police, and told me I was embarrassing myself in front of my kids for saying it's disgusting to TOUCH our food with UNWASHED HANDS! If they are willing to bypass such a simple and standard hygiene rule, I'm concerned about what other important regulations they might be ignoring. They refuse to sell to you unless you pre-order the day before. We tried to order 5 bagels and were told no, we need to pre-order. My daughter (14) even tried to get 4 bagels instead and was told no again, so she left. This is NOT a new issue. Looks like this business does not want walk-in customers. Such a shame! Imagine your favorite bagel. Now imagine most bagel places that cover said bagel in copious amounts of toppings. Now imagine what we saw: {maybe} a quarter to (on the high end) a third of the toppings you'd expect to see on a bagel just about anywhere else....! Disappointing. But... we were hungry so... we ordered a couple of toasted bagels with different cream cheese flavors. Probably the driest "fresh bagel" I have ever encountered. I told the owner I want a dozen and he said 'I can't do it." ?????????? I asked what if I had brought my staff in -- would he have sold them to me? The owner said he's running low ... in a bagel shop ... where all they sell are bagels. I asked if they were making more since they have a lunch menu. "No, this is it." There were about a dozen yummy savory bagels in the case, and a pile of crumbly crappy looking blueberry bagels that clearly nobody was buying. The owner told me if I want a dozen I have to order them a day in advance. RIDICULOUS!! When I got back to work I was told by colleagues that there is a three bagel per person max. First off, I would like to state this place has always been a favorite of mine. The food is great, the prices are great, I went there all the time while in high-school until recently. The new owner is VERY rude and inconsiderate of her costumers feelings. We ordered, we payed, but when we received our food one of our bagels were burnt pretty bad. We went up and asked politely if they could make us a new one, and the owner immediately became defensive and invalidated our feelings. Saying it was not burnt, and that the other bagels were burnt too because "we consider this one burnt." The other bagels were not burnt, and it was very rude of her to say so. She didn't offer to make us a new one, she told us to just eat it. Because the encounter was so out of the blue and not normal costumer service, my friend just picked the burnt bagel apart to get rid of the burned parts. She ate it and was very unsatisfied. We left before we even finished because we felt super unwelcome. As we left she said "see it's not even burnt." We replied "yes it was," she didn't even apologize and gave us attitude once again. The young lady who attended us was very helpful and suggestive on what I could add or take off certain food items as well as what pairs well together. I was very satisfied with my purchase I had the cheese bagel with bacon egg and cheese then I added cream cheese so it was a lot of layers but it only cost us 18$-20$ or so for 2 bagels and 2 iced macchiatos. The overall feeling in the restaurant was very calm, they have a little front area where you can eat your bagel and people watch so loved that since in Sonora there's always tourists and things to see. Lady on the phone said that they were sold out of dozen and half dozen, which was no big deal. when we came in to grab our order we asked if we could just add two more bagels onto our order and the lady said no because they didn't make enough and had to stretch the bagels all the way to 3 o'clock in the afternoon, not sure how not enough bagels is our problem but it would have been nice to just add two more bagels. the last three times we went here they we're out of bagels and/or lox. It was about 10:00 a.m. This morning we got there about 8:00 and when my husband and I opened the bag at home the bagels we're horribly put together. two strips of onion, one tomato about two inches in size and hardly any lox.
