What I received are chunks of wood, not one of them 16" long. Some of the pieces were from dead, rotting trees and are porous and light weight. None of them are long enough for my log racks. I am having to use some wood I bought from another firewood supplier to make a bottom layer on which to stack my chunks of wood. Josh seems like a very nice guy and was responsive to my inquiry however he did not specify that all wood delivered would would be significantly under the 16" length I was inquiring about. Josh did make an adjustment to my price when he realized my disappointment. I'm now tasked with trying to somehow stack these chunks in my covered log racks to keep the wood dry until I'm ready to use it. Most of the wood I received is crap. It is so lightweight and porous it burns super fast. Oak should be dense, heavy and long burning. I paid top dollar for this wood to heat my home through the winter. Instead I received garbage wood that will last one month, if I'm lucky. I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to buy more from another vendor. So dissatisfied!

He is very clearly an expert on the type of tree being discussed, it's growth patterns, issues and concerns, and the best way to deal with its removal. Of particular importance to me was the fact that Patrick has a license; many of the other contractors providing a quote did not. Patrick scheduled the work within days of my acceptance of his quote, arrived on time with the chipper and got to work almost immediately. Within hours the tree was gone and the yard cleaned up. Patrick did not mind my taking pictures and he ensured that the work was done to my satisfaction before asking for payment.
