Trish, who I guess is a manager somehow, was a little blunt but fine on that day. I leave the shop feeling like my car was acting funny still but I dismiss it as potentially being the new parts. Fast forward to a few days ago, I noticed every time I turn now there's a noise on my front right tire. I plan to go back to pep boys on the following Sunday exactly a week after since I work two jobs and didn't have the time to go back earlier. I inspect my car this morning and find out 5 of my lug nuts were never installed on my front wheel. I immediately contact their customer support who apologize and offer to cover the installation and towing fee for free. I'm already annoyed since this could have literally killed me. I go to the shop and ask for a report on what they did but Trish, now being extremely rude, outright says "you drive your car x amount of miles, we could dispute that so we just did the lug nuts as a courtesy." Which is extremely unprofessional considering I still paid full price for service and still got screwed over a week later. Trish seriously needs more training as she just seems extremely agitated both times I've seen her and was extremely defensive when asked about how her team could have possibly forgotten to install or at the very least tighten the lug nuts correctly. 100% do not recommend, and not that it matters but mI definitely wont be coming back here or to any pep boys

I went in looking for a specific set of brake pads I THOUGHT I needed, but was quickly informed by a knowledgeable young worker that I would spending way more money than I needed to and they pointed me in the right direction. They showed me the possible selections which were more plentiful than their competitor and gave me their professional opinion on what my two best options would be and I dare say they were right! No more squeaking and rocking for my car. As I exited I even saw an employee helping another customer change wiper blades. I set up an account and will be doing most if not all of my automotive needs shopping here from now on.

Was best price out there w install, tax, shipping, recycle fee all in. Only paid pep boys for install/alignment w a coupon. I had an appointment as well. Took 2hrs. I need to personally mention Robert (the supervisor) and Luis (technician) both have returned back to this location and thank goodness for that. Because of these two stellar human beings who deliver excellent customer service, They have single handedly saved this store! Because of them I'm giving a 5-star review!! He abruptly left me at the counter without giving me instructions on what to do next. The second employee who helped me was a younger guy, he was super helpful I can't remember his name I apologize, but he was UNI alumni. When I arrived I asked if they could test my battery and they (Manny & Dolby) told me no sorry. With a super long pause I was like what do you mean no? They sed that both battery testers were dead and needed to charge it would be about an hour. I told him my car won't start I had to jump it to get here, and then he suggested I go to the next store closest to get it checked. That would have been nice but again I stated my car won't start. So I figured I'd just get another battery, he sed ok and I asked if someone could help me put it in. Again he was like sorry no... long pause and just stared at me I was like no one can help me ?? He sed I have a back injury, (which ok I get it you don't wanna make it worse) but Dolby whose standing right next to him staring at her phone trying to ignore me. I asked again so no one here can help me?! Manny turned to look at her and she still stood there staring at her phone could care less that I was asking. I was about to walk out and she finally was like let's go look at your car. She brought the wrong tools and then began saying the bolts were rusted and would need to be cut. I'm sorry but I got the nuts off earlier befor I arrived so they were already loose and maybe if you brought the right tools with you- I'm just appalled at the SHITTY service here attitude and communication! I usually have very pleasant experiences here but today was not the day. If you don't want to help customers get out of customer service!

(Especially in Los Angeles, where most places you go, they avoid eye contact and do everything they can to not help you. or they act like you are a burden). Caesar came to my car, helped run my diagnostic, explained everything to me, helped me purchase the items I needed and did it all with a smile on his face, with such professionalism.
