I had a split driver seat on my 20 year old Mercedes and I went around to everyone to get estimates. Harry was the highest but he was more than just a repair shop, he was a wonderful nice friendly person who's seen it all. All the others doing this kind of work around here in LA were rude and belligerent. Harry was the most expensive than everyone else, but it's for a reason. He's not going to slap on a quick fix and have it look terrible. He cared so much in educating me that my seat split, drivers side is because the padding had lost all its bounce and thickness because of the age of the car. So the seat had no choice except to split at a seam in the middle. He also said that the padding had to be built up again, which he also did. Turned out he had remnants left over from another job that he was able to use and his work is not just work, it's a work of art and know how. This man Harry is more knowledgeable than any of the other ships I went to. He's a craftsman and artist and skilled beyond anyone else I would say in the country. I am so grateful for the work he did and such a Beautiful job he did as well. Now I'd like him to do the passenger seat to match better, even though there's really no difference. I love this guy and became friends with him in this process. The man is a prince. Harry is the only one I'd ever use and recommend him over all the others doing this work here in LA and to tell you the truth, I'd say the whole state if not the whole country. He is a true master at this job of seat cover replacement and tops too. He's a small shop and is busy for months if you can even get an appointment with him. Harry took one look at it and recognized that the original canvas was simply too tight; it hadn't been exercised for probably 7 years. He recommended getting it hand washed and left wet (to exercise the material). After that worked, I took it back and he noticed that the glass rear window was not firmly attached; he recommended letting him work on it overnight to repair it and let the glue cure. I dropped it off in the early morning; he called me 6 hours later, "It's ready to pick up." It is now perfect. He even discounted his charges because, "I didn't really do much; I didn't have to order and fit new glass, just glued the original parts." The man is a true craftsman; and a pleasure to work with. I give him an unqualified endorsement. (Unlike my Ford dealer who clearly didn't want to be bothered supporting a decades long customer.)

I feel like they really truly care about their customers and have no ego or attitude like some other places. Went to the BMW dealership and they said I needed front brakes replaced and also had a nail in the…read moretired and the tire needed to be replaced. 1. The Good - Cook said the nail didn't fully puncture the tire and it didn't need to be replaced. So I appreciate the honesty for this part. 2. The Bad - Replacement of the front brakes. After a few months the brakes were still squeaking and I called to mention this and they said to drive the car longer and it will stop. A year later and they still squeak. I took the car to a mechanic for in inspection and was told that Cook used Oreilly brakes and did not use OEM BWM brakes. Cook did not offer it as an option. It is a 2022 BMW and the brakes the used are unsatisfactory. Had I known they would not use original parts or offer it, I would have had this service done elsewhere. I should have went to a BMW specialized mechanic.
