Came here to get a full set removed and than a mani pedi. There wasn't a wait so I was able to be seated right away for my pedicure. One of the best pedicures I have had in a while. I disliked all services I received today. I got a basic pedicure, powder nails and eyebrow wax. May I also add that I saw no actions of sanitation... my fingers are hurting from all the cuts and it still isn't what I wanted and asked for.. they were left thick and sloppy. my eyebrows were supposed to be cleaned up and they kept tweezing too fast causing her to pinch my skin and now I feel like I'm bleeding.. Liz did my pedicure. Dee did my nails and everything came out beautifully!! Liz took her time and was very thorough. I only get my nails done for my birthday. So I didn't really know what I wanted. Also I kept messing up the polish because I was moving too much. But Dee was very patient and made sure to correct it. Definitely will come back! read more

Apparently this has been around for a while but I never noticed it. So I came probably mid-week in the early afternoon. There were 3 technicians on staff and only 1 other customer so I had no wait for my pedicure. There was a nice color selection and they have shellac. My pedicure was great... she did a great job at cleaning my feet and getting at my semi-ingrown toenail... I am not consistent with my pedicures because I rarely have the time so I usually get one when I cannot stand it anymore... and it was almost 2 months after I got a pedicure here when I got my next one... which is a long time I know. But I think that shows how good of a pedicure I got here. So during my pedicure there was a lady getting her nails done.. I believe she was getting acrylics done but I couldn't smell it which was a plus in my book. read more

I was in Houston visiting family and needed my nails to be refilled so I came here based off of all the good reviews. I didn't catch my manicurist's name (older lady w/ glasses). She was very quiet the entire time she fixed my nails up. She did an awesome job (coming from a perfectionist when it comes to nails). Made them all the same thickness and made sure the get the inner side of the nails as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because she cut my pinky while grinding down. Didn't even acknowledge that there was some blood on the corner of my nail. Like I said, everything else about my nails was golden. read more

Great place up north to get my nails done but I might have to find another place. The first time I went there with my best friend, they did a good job and I thought that maybe I should make this my permanent place to get my nails done. I went there this past Friday and well... I called them to see if there was an opening and they told me to come in 30 mins. When I got there, they kept asking me repeatedly if I made a appointment and I said yes, I just called 15 minutes ago. Then, a lady name Rose came by and asked what I needed. I told her that I wanted redo my shellac nails and paint my toes. At first, she sat me down in one of the stations that the manicurist would do my nails. The guy that works there was done but didn't want to do my nails. Then one of the lady got done with her client (which she did my nails the first time) and she didn't want to do it. So, they started talking in Vietnamese and well, I'm Asian and I can completely understand what they are talking about and at this time I'm pissed. It sounded like no one wanted to do my nails. So, Rose decided she will do it for me and she did a great job. She asked me what I wanted, helped picked out the color and she did it without talking bad about me or anything. So, if I'm up north again, I will definitely ask Rose to do my nails again. read more

I came here one day because the place I usually go to was really packed and I was on limited time and need a new set for my graduation. I was greeted when I came in by the owner I'm guessing and I told her I just wanted a full set. She told me the wait was 10 minutes so it was fine. The lady, her name is Tami, took about 20 minutes till she got to me but I understood since it was only 4 of them working. I picked out my colors and told her I wanted them coffin and she did such an amazing job, I was impressed and very satisfied. She took her time and the coffin shape was exactly what I wanted. She cleaned under the tip of the nails and she filed them till they were very sharp which I loved. I paid $35. They lasted 3 weeks and I came back to change the color and again they were perfect. I needed a place to go to on New Year's Eve and this was one of the few places open. Despite having to wait for an hour because there was only one person doing nails, I loved the service I got and my nails done by Lily. However, today marks the 8th day of having them done, and they started lifting a few days ago. While I love the nails, I hate that they're lifting. It pulls my hair and the idea of having water possibly trapped under there which can lead to fungus.... ewwww. Not cool. read more

I walked in unknown how good the service was or what to expect here but I would have to say I was impressed. After living in the area for 20 years I never came to this nail salon and I should have sooner!! I was greeted when I walked in, they were already busy with other clients, told the lady what services I wanted (Pedicure and full set) and she told me to wait a minute and choose the color I'd like. Waited for about 5 minutes and she told me to come sit in the pedicure chair. While I was getting my feet done I was also getting my hands done as well...double duty!! I requested for almond shaped nails and short and the nail tech did a superb job. (older lady, I didn't get her name) but she didn't knick my cuticles like some nail techs do because they rush. She took her time and made sure that they were all even and matched in size. (I will upload a pic later when I can.) Usually nail techs are rough and the next day my hands are sore from them pushing back my skin and filing the nails down but she was very gentle and I appreciated that. The lady doing my pedicure also did a very good job, scrubbed the bottoms of my feet, got all the almost ingrown nails out and cut them down. She also did a really good job at massaging which I normally don't get a full leg massage at other nail shops but I was ecstatic. In total, the shop is very clean, neat, doesn't smell like acetone. I paid $60 for the full set and spa pedicure which is about fair price for what I usually pay about 30-35 for a full set and 20-25 for a pedicure. I will be coming back to this salon! read more

Just moved to this side of town & wanted to find a new nail salon close to my house. I wanted a pedicure mainly because I get a ingrown toenail frequently. She did not do anything about it. I had to tell her. Even then she didn't do a good job at fixing it. At my old salon they would just do it and they did it right. Also I thought it was dumb how they didn't do the callus remover. They only did it in the 2nd offered pedicure which was $35. The basic one was $25. Highest I've ever paid for a pedicure for it not to have that included. It did have a mask and a scrub but again, why do that but not the callus remover. I've been to a lot of salons and that always comes with a basic pedicure. The nail polish job was sloppy. I wanted my nails done too but they said only one person was doing powder nails & she was busy. While I was drying my toes a customer walked in & the nail lady told her to "come back later, we're busy assisting other customers right now" the customer asked how long was the wait , when should she come back. She replied with "tomorrow." She had an attitude saying it & had no apology to offer. It wasn't to me but it was very rude over all. The salon had a nice appearance. Which is the only reason why I'm giving it 1 star. But overall it was not a good experience & I will not be returning. Feel like I wasted my time and my money. If you want to waste your money then this is the place to go. Their prices do not match up with their work at all. Not what I expected. read more

Unhygienic, the guy used his pointy nail to try and push my cuticle back, and he was horrible at cutting my cuticle, shaped them horribly and wasn't listening when I said he was hurting me, instead he put acetone on the finger that was her without letting me know first!!! Love, love, love my nails (#48 color acrylic & clear gel) and toes (deluxe pedi). Went in with a coworker (because I dislike shopping for quality nail techs as much as I dislike grocery shopping; but the silver lining is its gotta be done) keeping an open mind and got not just the quality but a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are really welcoming and nice, all do great work and everyone knows designs, etc. So, no waiting for someone else to be done so you can get designs or most any other service. Mike did my full set and he was very gentle and listened to what I want and the shape I wanted. He later suggested other color acrylic ideas and designs as well as other shapes. There was no rush in getting my hands or feet done to get to the next customer... For heavens sake they have over 200 colors in shellac, polishes, and a large variety of color powders and different ways to style on your hands/feet (ombré or even powder designs within a color scheme) and complimentary beverages are offered during your service(s). read more
