I'm so happy I finally found a go to nail salon in Houston. NT Nails is right in Spring Branch so it's roughly 10 minutes from the ROD/Galleria area. My friend and I needed a pedi last minute so we called and Mike said they would squeeze us in despite it already being 6pm on a Saturday and they closed at 7. We arrived to a very warm and friendly reception from Mike and asked to grab a seat. I chose to get a regular manicure and pedicure ($40) and my friend got a gel pedicure. We were there until 7:30p and not once did we feel rushed. They truly took their time taking care of us. The white wine was also a nice touch. Barbi is a big fan, and this is one of the friendliest nail salons, which is helpful because it's right near our gym. Lots of beautiful people come here to have their stuff done, from all kinds of backgrounds, and even though this is the Latin area, pretty much everyone seems to use this salon. I'm surprised they didn't have more reviews on Yelp, but that's probably because they don't write a hundred fake ones like most nail salons do. Good for them for their rare honesty. I recently moved to the Spring branch area so looking for a new nail spot. This is the third location I've tried. Let's just say my search continues. I liked that the space was very modern and clean, probably the most clean and organized space I've been to - 5 stars. I went on a Sunday morning so it was just myself and one other person. The staff was friendly, not too chatty but I was looking at the TV. My complaint is quality of service. I opted for an upgraded (one level up) spa pedicure rather than the basic. They clipped several toe nail cuticles to the point of raw and sensitive. After I got home I noticed my pinky toe paint was messed up. It's a dark color so it wasn't as obvious up front. But it must've happened when they were putting my shoes back on. They had messed up the other side but I saw it and asked them to fix it immediately. I had clear on my fingers and within a few hours it was already peeling off. In the pics you can also see cuticles still looked a little rough. read more
