Not much bang for your buck here. I requested a full set on Saturday and by Tuesday one of the nails broke. Here's a picture of my nails. My pedicure was nice. My feet are soft and my toes are cute. White tip on my fingernails and toenails total $115 w/ shellac. Pedicure $35 +Extra $20 for shellac. Full set $40 & I'm guessing using the white nail tip instead of the usual clear tip was additional along with an additional fee for shaping them. Came in as a walk-in to get my pedicure done before my girls trip which required heels all weekend & my pedi looks so good & has lasted through workout sessions & crowded environments. Everyone here was really nice which is a big deal to me. I love that it's not overpriced & that it's so close to my place! Unfortunately, I never had a chance to experience this salon as my appointment seemed to be a surprise by both male individuals I talked to. Came here for a dip powder nail removal since my regular place was closed today. I usually go to the salon to get nails removed because it's more gentle than doing it at home. However as soon as I sat down she grabbed my hand and ripped off five of my nails at once by going under the nail and sweeping it off with a different fake nail. I didn't know what was happening and was shocked. Every other nail salon soaks them in acetone and then uses the machine to gently rub the powder off. I could literally see my real nails still attached to the ones she removed. This really damaged my nails compared to other removals I've done before and she even ripped one so deep that it bled. I paid $10 for pain and damage to my nails. She apologized for cutting my finger but I had no idea they would be ripped off instead of dipped in acetone or I would've gone somewhere else. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see how open and clean the place was inside in this sleepy strip mall on Long Point. They had both front and back doors open so I didn't walk into the immediate smell of chemicals like in some other places. I got a classic mani pedi and the nail color is still holding strong a few days later. I was in and out the door within the hour. I have been here plenty of times and honestly have never had a bad experience before until today, I came in just to get my dip powder taken off and have clear gel put on, I mentioned that there was some type of hair/string in the polish but my nail tech didn't seem to care considering she didn't respond when I mentioned it she just looked at my nails and fixed ONE nail not all of the other ones that had the same issue, she then went over to the pedicure seat where another nail tech was doing someone's feet and picked up the small nail file he had used off the tray on the floor that had her dead SKIN on it and used it on my nails to give them one last file!!! How gross. Although I could not tell what he said to her exactly it was very apparent he said to her that she shouldn't have used that file as he pointed to the tray on the floor then pointed to the dirty nail file she had just used on me and then back to the tray on the floor , the tone of his voice was very obvious that he was correcting her for her wrong doing. I'm not sure if the pictures do justice to show what's wrong with my nails but I honestly just didn't have it in me to try and correct these things in person, I hope you guys see this and make sure it doesn't happen again to anyone else! I honestly do love this establishment and again have never had any other bad experiences but today was a big No No for me. read more

I sat and waited for half an hour past my appointment time and there wasn't a single technician that looked to be finishing up anytime soon, so I finally just got up and left.
