Quoted $837.81 for four tires at NTB Mansfield, but charged $937.77 due to an undisclosed balance package added at pickup. Returned for tire noise and waited 3 hours with poor communication. Issue was not fixed. Took vehicle to NTB Grand Prairie, where an out-of-round tire was correctly diagnosed and replaced. Grand Prairie was professional; Mansfield failed to properly diagnose, balance, or test-drive the vehicle. Safety concerns. Will not return. read more

I knew I needed four tires and a tire sensor.I was told that earlier in the week where I got air put in my tire.Well the service guy at NTB told me I only needed two.I said are you sure.He then demonstrated how to measure the tire tread.He said you made need two more in a couple of months.I said give me four.I purchased the four.Drove off and the tire light turned to red which I had never seen before.I went back to NTB and asked what size tires did you put on my car.He told me.I said are you aware that my back tires are supposed to larger than my front .He Was Clueless.Now I'm waiting for the correct tires .And by the way they didn't put enough air in the tires.Reading is fundamental.It is clearly printed inside of the door. read more

Absolute worst experience I ever had trying to get an oil change and tire rotation. It ended up taking three hours and 15 minutes just to change the oil after I had an appointment and was there on time. They also told me that a tire rotation was not needed which I know is BS. They didn't want to do it because it would've been free of charge since we bought our tires from NTB and paid for free tire rotation service. Never going back again. read more

On Sept 26th, Natalie finally submitted my claim, but the warranty company denied it because it had taken so long. Her negligence cost us nearly $250.00. I called the stop today, Sept. 30th, and asked to speak with her. Chris answered the phone, and when I asked 'can I speak to Natalie', he said to someone close 'do you want to handle this?' Which means he could see my phone number and knew it was me. This is disgusting customer service. I hope she gets fired. I have already filed a complaint with your home office, but I want everyone out there to understand how bad this store is. Don't promise things you aren't going to deliver on. We had a front end alignment done on our auto. This comes with a 90 day time frame to have it repeated if needed. Good luck getting the repeat done. We had an appointment at 5pm but we called to see if we could get in earlier since we had time available. 3 hours later we are still waiting. 5pm now, there is one on the rack, which they are not working on (break time?)and we have been told there is a 4pm appointment ahead of us. read more

I had a tow truck take my car with two blown out tires to NTB in Mansfield. I did not have to wait in a line to talk with Brad about getting my tires fixed. We discussed the prices of new tires. The wait time he gave me for the repair was reasonable, 1 hour, so I sent the person who brought me home while I stayed. There were several other vehicles in the shop being worked on. It took 2 hours because they couldn't get the tires balanced. It was discovered that the wheel rim had also been damaged. This is where Brad became a hug help in finding me a new wheel, that ended up being in Alvarado! He communicated with the person in Alvarado to assure that it was the correct wheel. I got the wheel and it was put on to make my car drivable. I really appreciate Brad, who is also helping me look for 2 center hubcaps that are being allusive, as there are many versions out there that don't match. After reading other comments, I have 2 suggestions for the NTB store: 1. Hire more mechanics in the shop. 2. Make better or longer time estimates so your customers aren't wasting their time waiting. If it's a long time, the customers could do something on their lists and come back when the repair is done, therefore, not making angry customers. read more

Went here and was told I needed a new cabin air filter, service took an hour and a half with an appointment. When I drove off my car was making the loudest revving sound so my husband checked and the casing to the air filter was left open and the filter itself was upside down and backwards. How a simple service could be done so wrong and take as much time as it did idk but I will not be going back here again. read more

I had a horrible experience at NTB. Typically I have my car serviced at Firestone across the street, but I decided to try out NTB Mansfield. I arrived at 8:15am sharp. All I needed was to have my battery looked at and replaced, if necessary. This should not have taken more than 30 minutes, maximum 1 hour as I was practically the 1st and only customer at the time. They were able to inspect it pretty quickly and then I was told I do need a new battery. The red-headed front desk girl said they didn't have my battery in stock and they would have to order it, but it would only take 10mins to 30 mins for the driver to bring it over. I agreed to wait and started to make some important phone calls. I was so busy making phone calls that I lost track of time. Next thing I know it's passed 10. A new brunette girl showed up at the front desk and when I asked her about my car, she directed me back to the red-head. Again they said 10 more minutes. Patiently, I sat back down, but this time I kept track. 17 minutes later. No battery. Again I was told 10 more minutes. The driver is only 10 minutes away. That's when I explained I had to be at work at 11am. Then the brunette (who had a little attitude the whole time -- as if asking her anything was a bother) said I should call my job and tell them I will be late. Excuse me??? She expects me to tarnish my attendance record so I can wait even longer for something that was supposed to be completed hours ago. I told her that I wasn't going to do that. Then she got snippy and said they can put the old battery in if I can't wait. I told her to go ahead and do that...as I really can't wait any longer. Do that or drive me to work and bring me my car whenever they decide to finish working on it. (Btw, someone with that kind of attitude shouldn't be working the front desk. They need to put her in the back somewhere if she cant be respectful to customers. ) But here's the kicker! The brunette went to the garage to tell the guys and, low and behold, they found a battery that will work in my car which no one has bothered telling me about this whole time. And it's cheaper too yet the "same"??? Did they just kept me there that whole time because they wanted to make alittle more money off of me? If so, this is disgusting. And, also, they weren't going to let me leave unless they got some money out of me apparently. So I approved the cheaper battery and they said 15 more minutes. I replied I don't have 15 minutes. And then the red-head said it's not fair to rush the mechanic. Really??? And it's fair that I await 3 hours??? Then on top of all that the girls are blaming the driver saying it's not their fault because he didn't arrive in time. It's all a bumbling mess. No one was taking responsibility for the many fails on this visit nor caring about the bad impressions to the store. They are just helpless, blameless girls and I was being an impatient customer. Does anyone care? And, no, I wasn't nice (but never abusive.) My nice ran out at 2 1/2 hours and especially after being told I have to compromise my job and call in late because you can't deliver on your promise PLUS you had a battery in-store that could work on my car this whole time. Don't mistaken me for a unreasonable "Karen". I was nice and patient for 2 1/2 hours. I will call you out for being disrespectful and ridiculous at this point. If I had gone to Firestone, they would have driven me to work if they couldn't deliver on their promise as I work really close by. They have a Firestone truck and, over the many years of patronage at many Firestone locations, they have dropped me off at home at least twice when the situation called for it. They may not be perfect 100% of the time, but never have I've ever experienced a rude and dis-courteous employee at Firestone as I have experienced at NTB with these argumentative, irresponsible, blame shifting, eye rolling, unprofessional front desk employees who seem to think I shouldn't be upset at waiting 3 hours for a new battery that they had in-stock all along. Oh, it's all rainbows and sunshine with all the positive reviews I see....but only if everything goes as planned. But when things don't work as they should, that's when you see the true colors of people and businesses. Once I was doing a price comparison for a new a/c compressor and NTB was more expensive than Firestone so I chose Firestone. Now that I had this experience, I feel confident that spending my $1200+ at Firestone and not at NTB was the best choice as it's now obvious every nickle and dime matters to NTB because their customers certainly don't matter. I am never stepping back into NTB again. I want to be held hostage again and only have rude, inconsiderate employees to NOT help me. My God, just imagine if I had tried to get my a/c compressor done there and only have these helpless, blameless dunces to fall back on if a problem was to arise. It's kind of scary. I showed up at 8am for a brake fluid flush and brake light bulb replacement. I had my brake light replaced 2 weeks ago by another company and was told the new bulb would not come on therefore it's probably a wiring issue. Bret at NTB checked it and said the previous person did not plug the wire back in properly. I was thankful that NTB did not try and say it was a major problem. All they had to do was switch the wire back to the proper slot. I really appreciated Bret's honesty. I brought a book with me because I was prepared to be there for a long time, but I was in and out in one hour. I must say the customer service was awesome. read more

Had an appointment for service today, but got tied up & was 10 minutes late. By the time I got to the counter it was over 15 minutes late. What a life saver! My car broke down while driving across the state, and I was lucky enough for it to happen right in front of NTB on Highway 287. Even with a line the team was able to get my car diagnosed and an estimate pretty rapidly. The Manager Chris helped in any way he could, including explaining to my father what I couldn't. The mechanic was quick to get my car up and start solving the problem. and Ollie in the front was sure to let me know of anything that was evolving and keep me updated on an estimated time. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I give my business & hard earned money to NTB(especially the location in Mansfield off 287). I purchased 4 new tires & a front end alignment probably about one month ago. Yesterday a low tire light came on. So, I checked the tire, found the leak & took a picture so I could show them the location of the leak. I could feel the hole(felt like a nail had punctured it). I called this morning before dropping it off. An employee told me to come on in at anytime. I dropped off my car & showed them the location of the leak. After a few hours I get a call that my car is ready but THEY COULDN'T FIND A LEAK! I leave work to get my car & hope to return back to work quickly. I get to NTB... I see two cars in the bays. A few people are waiting in the waiting area. Not one employee in sight. Three minutes turn to five, five turns to ten & so on. A lady waiting in the waiting room get up, walks around to the shop floor, tells an employee her husband is here to get here & she'll be back later, then tells them they have a customer waiting. I tell her thank you as she leaves. AND NOTHING! Another few minutes go by... Two employees even make eye contact with me, even the one that helped me initially at drop off. FIANLLY one employee strolls out of the shop & "helps" me! I am a customer service FIRST kind of person. My background is in customer service so I have high expectations! This experience makes me sad. Like I stated never ever again will I be back. read more

It saddens me to write this review. I was referred by my husband. I went in on yesterday for an alignment. I feel I was taken fast. I paid them for a wheel alignment when honestly after viewing their results I felt I only needed a front wheel alignment if that. The guy even told me I had minor repair. I guess I wish he would have informed me after they viewed my car a full alignment wasn't needed on my 2015 ford Fusion only a front wheel alignment. I left with my son, my car was still parked they hadnt started on it. We were barely gone 30 minutes and I received a call that my car was ready. I was so shocked because we barely had left and my car was still parked. I rated them 2 stars because I dont feel I needed a alignment and I was not informed otherwise. read more

***Updated review at the bottom*** Had an appointment at 8am. Arrived at 7:55...doors were locked and no one was inside. There were 4 other people waiting on them to open. The opening time is 7am. I left at 8:15 and still no one had shown up. Hoping this was a one time thing as I have been coming here for several years and never had an issue. Disappointing... Update- when I called this afternoon and explained what happened, they said that they had openings right now if I was able to stop in. I walked in, was seen immediately, told how much the oil change would be and that there wouldn't be a wait to get my car back. I usually do my own oil/filter changes but I'm overdue and don't have time. I have a 4-cyl Kia and was a bit surprised it was $70 for a synthetic oil change. Reminds me why I usually do it myself. I am probably a little out of touch with what this costs. I was pleased that there was no wait. I got lucky. Pulled it right back. They have a good customer lounge, definitely nicer than most of their competition. Free WiFi and an NFL game on was great, too. The guy who greeted and checked me in was polite and efficient. So far, I am pretty pleased. It's been 40 minutes since I got here. They got my car right back but I can't see it in the bay. May have waited for a tech to start. If I'm out in an hour I will rate them well. Just got called to pay out. About 50 mins. Apparently you can make appointments, even on Sunday afternoon. May be a good tip for next time. read more

The ppl are nice but their road hazard warranty is garbage. It works on a pro rated pricing based on amount of tire wear even when an non repairable hole is in the tire. My tire is 32k miles in a 50k mile warranty and I still have to pay 2/3 the price of the tire. Makes u wonder what they are doing with the illegal tires cuz sidewall damage can't be resold as used tires least not in Texas. So how does tread effect the amount covered by warranty if their is a hole in sidewall? When that is now an illegal to sell tire. read more
