First it was, oh, it's too early to put down sod, it'll die. We should plant in late April. We also won't know if your front yard needs replaced until the grass has had more time to grow. How he could conclude that the back yard needed it but not the front is beyond me -- it was the same grass in the same condition. Probably just trying to cover for the fact they didn't measure and estimate what I asked for originally. Late April came and went, despite phone calls from me as asked in early April to setup an estimate. Then it was, we'll come by and estimate in early May for install in late May. Late May has come and gone and I still don't have a full yard estimate, let alone any grass. Done with their lies. I've hired someone else. You should do the same if you want your project done.

This time, Jesus placed new sprinkler heads for another part of the lawn, and changed out different spray head types a couple of times to my liking. He has the patience of Jesus. The estimates are reasonable, and Linda, who coordinates the jobs and takes the payments, is very responsive and quick to reply to questions. Overall, I recommend them for affordability, communication/responsiveness, and timeliness.

Once they did, their service was spotty, never knew when they would show up, so I had to keep asking. A couple months in, and they stopped showing up altogether. After 3 weeks of nothing, I emailed and was given another apology for them forgetting I existed. Another 2+ weeks go by, same exact thing. So I cancel my service with them, but I had one more day paid for. They came out and mowed their last day. And then they charged me for another month's service today. And good luck trying to get them on the phone. They never answer. If you leave a message, best you'll get is a text. Feels like they're scared to talk to their customers, and I see why.

To be clear, they sub everything out, with the exception of the design: digging, concrete decking, plumbing, gunite, plaster... all subcontracted to other companies, but supervised by Complete. Their team did the design, permitting, and landscaping/irrigation work. The pools team did a great job, and I'm very happy with the end product. HOWEVER.... this review is to comment on my overall dissatisfaction with the company's willingness to honor the landscaping/plant warranties - which they didn't do. Instead, they invoked the "act of god" clause, and left me hanging. The dollar figure is a few hundred bucks, and a little bit of my own labor to replace the dead plants... Given the project was north of 200k, it's a minimal impact, but I'm going to be honest, and state that it left me with a terrible taste in my mouth, and wanted to share it with the broader community. Caveat emptor.
