My husband got his first deep cleaning in 10 years and the doctor was amazing! Very efficient and honest. I then needed a few last minute appointments to use up our insurance and they were very accommodating. This clinic does not care about their patients health, only cares to make money. I went in with concerns of pain and swelling on a wisdom tooth, and the dentist completely dismissed all of my concerns and wanted to extract every other wisdom tooth except the one that was in pain. I told him I will have to think about it, and for the time being I'll take antibiotics. This was 11:30A.M. At around 5pm, my prescription was still not sent over so I called. They said they will send the prescription through. The next day, I called again because my prescription was STILL not sent, to which they said they will send it. 30 min later, my pharmacy still has not received the prescription. So I called back AGAIN. After the 4th call and almost 24 hours later, they finally sent my prescription over. It feels like they knew I wasn't going to come back and spend money with them, so they did not care to send my prescription over. No patient should have to nag for their prescription to be sent through, especially for a tooth infection that can get serious very quickly. Take your business to a different clinic. read more

Extremely let down by what I thought would a good place of business. I came in for a consultation for a wisdom tooth extraction (it had grown in horizontally). When I called to make the appointment, I gave them the details about my wisdom tooth and the position it was in. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly girl at the front desk, who even said I might be able to get my procedure done the same day. However as I was finishing up the paperwork, she advised it would be $49 for the appointment and for X-rays. This was a detail they failed to mention over the phone, but I paid the fee and waited to be called to the back. After getting X-rays, I was escorted to a room to wait for the dentist. They came back about five minutes later and said the dentist could not do the procedure because the tooth was horizontal and I would have to be put to sleep, things that are outside of their scope. I was referred to another dentist (whose office I called and never got a response from). I was quickly escorted out without even seeing the dentist. The staff here was nice but attention to detail was horrible and they seemed very misinformed. I wasted time making this appointment, and staff had me thinking I could get this type of Work done. This all could have been avoided if they told me from the initial phone call that the dentist cannot do extractions with teeth grown in horizontally. It seemed like it was a quick appointment to get my money instead of being upfront about what work they can actually do. They never offered a refund or anything for the wasted time. I ended up going to another dentist who did the procedure terrifically, without having to put me to sleep too! If you call this place, I would advise you to be very thorough and ask about their scope of work since details are not exactly clear here. read more

I very seldom write a review this office is so unprofessional that I had to get the word out.I went in for a upper denture adjustment ,the denture was six months old it don't need much adjustment .He was back in about 10 minutes fit great.A few months later I had some upper teeth removed and I was told that they could add false teeth to the denture . They did and Terrible repair . The teeth were pulled leaving large tooth hole socket no stitches applied. It was getting close to quitting time . they were in a hurry to leave ,never checked the fit filled the denture with fixodent and stopped the bleeding. The added teeth are not in the right place the Dentist filled the loose fit of the denture with a Harding plastic . He informed me that i would need to have another made. At my cost there was nothing more he could do. I'm not willing to ever let him touch my teeth. read more

11/10/20 appt at 930am. Staff were all friendly and attentive to my well being. Had X-rays and found that I needed a crown. Returned at 2pm and I did anticipate a few hours and during those hours the dental assistance (sorry didn't get your name) showed so much compassion towards me, making sure I was comfortable and DR as well. Dental visits is never fun, mostly uneasy and uncomfortable but having the staff experience I had during my visit, it made things easier! I did not get everyone name but I do remember Donna. I highly don't recommend this dentist, they cheat and lies, this the 2nd time I went to my appointment and they changed their subject when I'm at their offices, Last minute noticed, I paid for a crown, I never got it's work on instead they want me to wait a year for it. As a customer I didn't got my crown I asked for a refund for the work they didn't do, I ask again over the phone they told me they'll have their supervisor talk to me about my refund but I never got any call back about, I call them and they say they're closed but they have one office in Manteca?!?! Very unprofessional dentist... this Indian dentist doesn't have any good bedside manners and treats you like a piece of meat. He looked at my xrays and right off the bat, he insists on his diagnosis and wraps up in less than 10 mins. I went to another dentist that worked with me on SEVERAL solutions to my dental needs and spent the time to listen/advise at every scenario that could benefit my needs and my pockets! My review is based off the staff behavior I witnessed. Not sure if this was just an off day but the doctor, front desk staff, and an attendant were all servicing the same elderly patron(not the patient but he paid for the patient's services). They continued to accommodate to these two patients while...hate to say it but giving less than stellar service to everyone else. I understand that dealing with a needy patron is time consuming but it shouldn't take the whole office staff to deal with nor take time from other patients. Then shortly after they spoke with that patient (for the third time) before servicing others a solicitor walked in the office. Considering the waiting room was full and everyone was notified the doctor was behind I assumed they'd take his info and send him on his way, nope they interrupted the doctor twice to speak with the solicitor...even though he didn't end up talking to the solicitor it was still not okay to see him be serviced before those waiting to speak with the front desk. Like I said maybe this was an off day, but it just seemed like the staff could handle the patients/patrons etc a bit smoother. Edit: wanted to include this but I found it unprofessional for the one staffer to sit and discuss whether or not I was old enough to be with my sister for her appointment. Instead of asking me during check-in, one of the staffers continued discussing me and staring at me until another staffer with some sense decided to ask me how old I was. I understand I look young and the office has rules but you don't sit and chit chat and make comments about a patron and stare at them. I first ran into the girls from Nusmile at the Asparagus festival. My own fear of the dentist caused me to procrastinate but i finally made it in. Everyone from the front office, the assistants and the dentist were very friendly. The dentist listened to what I had to say. I ended up needing some treatment and received the same high level of service from my first visit. The entire office was very friendly and prompt. I am so happy I made the decision to go to Nusmile Dental for my braces. I am 22 years old and I have/had an extreme overbite. As a young girl I was scared to go to the dentist. I would rather have an overbite then get braces. As I got older, I decided to finally get over my fear and go to the dentist. I consulted with two dental offices before I came to Nusmile. I did not like the way the other Dental offices handled my case or the way they spoke to me. Once I arrived at Nusmile I was so happy to find a friendly staff and great Dr. The receptionist always has a positive attitude and great spirit. They treat their clients with respect and care. I am proud to say I have had my braces for a year and I have made a significant process thanks to the Dr and his assistant' s care and attention. This low rating would not be if the office manager was not argumentative concerning a so called "expired" coupon. They took one of the coupons from the same page and honored it but would not honor the other. She was insistent for prepayment of a service that had not be done. When filling out the paperwork, it stated payment due of day of services, but according to her since other people before me did not pay their bills or show up, this policy is not in effect when on one of their dental plans of service. She has a arrogant way, attempts to be demeaning in how she interacts with you and then attempts to put you in the same category of other losers who have not paid. This whole interaction with her was in front of staff and more patients in the waiting room. Not professional at all. Very unfortunate, she ruined my otherwise great experience with the x-ray tech, dentist, receptionist and hygienists. They are talented, patient, informative, and engaging....but I am concerned after the nasty interaction with the office manager if I ever want to go back.....I have been in many different dentist offices and your staff need to positive, flexible, attentive, pleasant, professional and the office manager included. My suggestion to NuSmile Dental, re-evaluate who interacts with your patients and is not judgmental. Thinking everyone who walks through the door is going to screw them. So I go in there with their $80 coupon for teeth cleaning I just got my teeth cleaned last year by another dentist and never had any of these issues they tell me I don't qualify and need to do a deep cleaning meanwhile the dentist and his assistant we're practically talking quietly underneath their breath very shady I cannot understand what the dentist was saying... then comes back the lady with the clipboard trying to sell me on a bunch of services tells me it's $1,300 and they cannot do the cleaning for the coupon unless I do the services it is a total bait and switch do not go their. The staff went into great detail about the repair and costs. They were also able to accommodate my hectic work schedule so I wouldn't have to take any time off.
