Very nice people and they do good cleanings (that's all I've had done there). And the cash price is decent. The dentist is nice but he does give me pushy vibes. He clearly sells invisaline and constantly talks about it even when I say I'm not interested. At my last cleaning he said I should get a veneer on a healthy incisor because it has a natural small hole (that is not decayed or anything, it formed that way and has been there my whole life). He also suggested the veneer because "that incisor is smaller than your other incisor so they look asymmetrical." I said no, im not interested in anything cosmetic. If there are no immediate health concerns I just want a cleaning. He then said he suggests my wisdom teeth come out for orthodontic reasons, not because they are bothering me, but specifically to straighten my teeth. Immediately after looking inside my mouth he started saying my lower gums were too thin and said he wanted me to have a gum graft. (He saw me 6 months before this and said nothing about my gums at all). I was getting a little freaked out, wondering how serious this was. Then he said he was suggesting to get it done "before we do invisaline." This was literally 60 seconds after I politely said I was NOT interested in anything cosmetic and only wanted a cleaning. I was asked three more times before I left if I was sure I didn't want a the quotes for invisaline and everything else the dentist kept pitching. He is very kind and obviously knowledgeable. But I don't appreciate him pushing when I've been very polite and clear about what I'm there for. So far this has been my experience for both of my cleanings after my initial visit so it stresses me out to have to see him every six months knowing I will have to basically wade through sales pitches. read more

I went here to get a quote for some implants the staff there is very knowledgeable very patient specially with me because I'm afraid of needles and the care they took was top-of-the-line. I have the best dentist ever. I've been a patient of Dr. Cherie & Dr. Gary Fiscus for over 23+ years. Their staff have always been friendly and helpful. Most recently 11/2020 I went in with a tooth causing problems with hot and cold. Within 10 days we figured I would need a root canal done. Dr. Gary started the procedure and Dr. Cherie finished 2 days before thanksgiving. She even came in on her day off so o wouldn't be in anymore discomfort. As always you pray you've filled Ana took care of them all! Ha ha well my tooth had other plans, hot is still doing good but the cold just wasn't having it's. Went in last week we are now almost "4" months in and the cold is still problem. God bless Dr. Cherie doe again zoning in for me to fix my tooth! After more than a year I was able to get an appointment for dental check up. When I arrived at the place I noticed that everyone was new, all the staff members and the doctor. I realized that the Fiscus' were no longer there and his loyal patients were never notified of the changes. Love love love them! They did emergency work on my front tooth. It was chipped and discolored (discoloration cane from the previous dentist that "fixed" my tooth) and they made it so nice,sturdy, and smooth. I think I found our new dentist! I had an 11 am appointment and I was in no later than 11:01. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel like a friend. They don't try and sell you expensive things. My previous dentist really pushed veneers on me and I asked this dentist about veneers because I thought it was necessary and she told me she really wanted to preserve as much of my tooth as possible, for as long as possible. I lost my job and dental benefits in early 2017, and shortly afterward broke an old crown in the front of my mouth. I bought an inexpensive private dental HMO policy which would cover some costs of a crown without a 6 to 12 month waiting period that traditional private dental plans require. Unfortunately, Quail Lakes didn't accept that HMO plan, so I was forced to go elsewhere, only to feel like I was about to get robbed. That dentist said they couldn't save my broken tooth and needed a bridge, a mere $2000 or so. An implant would be even more. Oh, by the way, I also needed deep scaling and root planing, which would cost me another $1000 or so, plus return visits every three months. I did some research and found I could fly to San Diego, drive across the border, enjoy a week of vacation, and get a dental implant for about one half what the other practice wanted to charge me for a bridge. And I could keep my good tooth that Modern Dental wanted to use to anchor the bridge. I jack-rabbited back to Dr. Fiscus and got a second opinion about the broken crown. She felt she could save the tooth and build a new crown. I gave up the trip to Mexico and paid cash, but considerably less than the other practice was asking, and am quite happy with the results. She also did not see an immediate need for deep scaling and planing. Too bad I couldn't go to Mexico though. read more

Dr. Gary, Dr. Sherie and staff are awesome. I have a very unorthodox work schedule, being a yacht delivery Captain, they always seem to be able to fit me in on short notice. Had a veneer fall off, two days before a 15 day delivery to Alaska, they had the lab guy meet me at the office, and had my tooth fixed the next day. Fran is usually my hygienist, she does a great job, but still yells at me to floss more:) I moved last year to Naples FL. but still manage to get back to Stockton twice a year for my dental care. read more

If you want an office that cares this is not the place. For the third time in several years I have been asked to reschedule my teeth cleaning. I live an hour from the dentist, both me and wife were patients and we have two kids under three. The dentist decided to cancel our cleaning as they decided to go on vacation. Well my appointment was scheduled so I did not have to burn sick time at work to go to dentist. Well they cancelled my appointment again, want to schedule so I not only have to take a full day off but me and the wife were two plus hours apart or they could fill us in on separate days so I can burn two sick days. I asked if they could accommodate us based on our circumstances and sure three months from now they can reschedule us again. I work for a living, used to own a business and know that life happens. However, if I took an unscheduled vacation I accommodated my clients, not told them "the dentist deserves a vacation and he can do what he wants." Well he can, however, work with your patients then. I am finding a new dentist and want to caution anyone that chooses this office. If you can be flexible great, but don't expect the office to be flexible for you. read more
