ONE WORD (plus many more after): WOW…read more I have never experienced such great service from anywhere before until today! Phil & Woanh (pronounced "Wan/Won") took care of me, amazing beyond words! I got the deluxe pedicure, which came with basically everything you can ask for in a pedicure for a ridiculously great price, & got a "gel powder" mani. Phil suggested the gel powder mani over the gel acrylics, which I was initially hesitant about because I am a woman who is rough with her hands. I tend to break my nails often, which is why I only get them done on special appropriate occasions. However, I do not regret my decision because my nails came out beautifully. The gel powder is strong & is significantly less likely to chip (if not, ever). I have tested it today by playing with a pit bull & cooking up dinner for myself, consistently checking on my nails to see if any damage was done, but everything still looks PERFECT!! Woanh was so wonderful with my pedicure. She conversed with me & was actually interested in getting to know me, which I thought was genuine because you don't see that often. She gave me a great massage & made sure I was taken care of. I love the environment inside because everyone was laughing & having great conversation. It seems as though everyone is one big family, which I have not witnessed within a nail salon or even most businesses before. The French tips were crooked and uneven, the shaping was inconsistent, and several nails had visible bumps, dents, and divots in the acrylic. Some areas looked like the product wasn't properly smoothed out, leaving noticeable valleys and an overall unfinished appearance. What made it more frustrating was that only two days later, one of my nails started lifting. I went back hoping it would be properly corrected, but instead of removing the lifted acrylic and redoing the nail, they simply glued it down and sent me on my way. The lifting underneath was still there, so the issue was never actually fixed. A few days after that, the same nail completely came off. As a first-time client, this was not the experience I expected. For $50, I expected a basic level of care, proper application, and accountability when something clearly needed to be fixed. Mistakes can happen, but the way the situation was handled both during and after the service was what made this experience especially disappointing.

The lady who had me used the electric buzzer for my cuticle work around my toenails and then proceeded to do it on top of all of my toenails, which should not make sense as they were healthy and clean and I was not getting acrylic or gel. For the massage portion was very weak and I totally understand keeping gloves on your fingers but they were a size too big for her so the plastic was rubbing around my leg a little bit more than her fingers were. It was just awkward and bad. They asked multiple times if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure but I always like to see what the basic is first and then go from there. I was not impressed. My friend got an upgraded one because she wanted the extra salt scrub or something, and the lady was okay but literally never cut one of her toenails so her her big toenails were two completely different sizes that was really noticeable if you looked down. I did not look at her toes until we were outside and I told her to turn around and go back in and fix it immediately and she said she would just do it at her normal pedicure place when she got home. She does not do confrontation. Overall it was not a huge deal because toenails can grow out and it will take a couple weeks for everything to go back to normal. So it was a minor disaster if you needed your toes done properly for that day. For us, just having a girls day meeting up halfway, it was not the end of the world. But I would not recommend it for anyone local.

I was wondering why he asked me to pay first. The polish wouldn't dry and was a mess. Had to go straight to another salon and got it done over. He charged me $45 plus the other place was $16. He was very rude when I told what I didn't need. His attitude was shocking!!!

When I walked into the salon, there were only 2 people inside, a young woman and an old man, and neither were a customer. The young woman asked if I had an appointment, I told her no and said "I can come back later if you're not able to take a walk in right now." She said no it was fine, and placed me with the old man for my gel mani/pedi. He was super gentle, however, I'm not sure his eyesight is ok because I had to ask multiple times for him to clean up the edges where the nail polish was on the skin and cuticles. Not only were the edges still rough even after asking him several times to fix it, they were also textured, not smooth. Additionally, 2 days after having my nails and toes done, the gel polish on one of my toes just popped off in one chunk as if it was a press-on. My girlfriend went in later that same day for a basic pedicure and she also got the old man. She said she had to ask him several times to cut her toenails shorter and she ended up leaving the salon with toenails that still needed to be cut. As I mentioned, I really struggled with whether or not to write this review. But after both my girlfriend and I had less than savory (and pricey!) experiences, and also very belatedly reading the reviews of this salon, I feel like management should be aware. There are far better salons in the area. Don't waste your money here. Go where you're going to get what you pay for...Estella's is NOT it.
