I went at the beginning of March and I told the lady not to push my face so hard, and she did, and during the whole session, it not hurts but also it is not good because it will cause a severe bruise and unfortunately it did. It has been almost 4 weeks and the bruises.are still there. The thing is when I asked her to please not to push my face that hard, she got upset and said that If I do not like the way she apply the needle on me, don;'t come anymore. I told her it is my face not yours. My face looks with bruises and no volume, and volume was the purpose of my visit. Now I will contact an attorney because I do not want a permanent scars on both sides of my face. She is not good and she did not care either. You never push anybody's face that hard. This is not the first time someone applies fillers in my face, and I DID NEVER BRUISE THAT BAD NOR LONG. Only a couple of dots that disappear in less than a week. I hope the attorney can help to get this resolved and see my face good. read more

Shiva is an amazing injections expert! She has such a wonderful eye for it and knows exactly how to balance the face. I came in for my first time getting any injections done for lip injections and she put me at ease and explained the process to me. I have a slightly lopsided lip so her expertise really helped to adjust where needed to account for that and give me the larger lips but still a natural look that I wanted. I have gone back again for a re-up after awhile and she did a great job the 2nd time also. She makes it not too painful and is careful and checks on me during the procedure to make sure I'm ok. I went in to Nubo for PRP treatments for my hair and didn't have a great experience. I felt like the treatments were not done properly (one time the nurse couldn't draw blood for the treatment so she had to give me a syntenic version. Mind you, I have such easy veins to draw from and she had trouble the 3x I went in). There was never any follow-up regarding the treatments or how they were working, and never has been to date. The whole experience felt very impersonal (I still think they have my named spelled incorrectly in the system). My appointments were often cancelled and the sessions were never scheduled with any adherence to the precise timing needed for these treatments. I still think they have my named spelled incorrectly in their system. And no, the treatments did not work, even though according to data, there was a high likelihood they should have. This review is for Shiva, who has given me botox for the past year. I initially went to see her for some "crows feet" wrinkles by my eyes. She cleared them up beautifully, while still keeping a natural work. Then, Shiva told me about the effects botox would have on my masseter muscle, or my jaw muscle. Shiva brought this up in a caring way, bringing attention to the effects of me clenching my jaw/grinding my teeth for the past year. I was so excited, as this has been a huge problem in my life. I finally went to Nubo Spa this Sunday and had a wonderful experience! I had been meaning to try it ever since I first saw that a skin care spa was going in. I obviously stalked their Instagram and Facebook pages to know more about it. (which you should follow, they also occasionally do giveaways!) I had received a gift certificate for my birthday and called Sunday afternoon to see if they had availability because their website said they didn't, and after speaking with the part owner she checked with the woman working that day and they had an opening for a Nubo lite Chemical Peel($100)! The woman who did my peel, just joined the team, I believe goes by the name Nina. She was so pleasant and sweet. She walked me through the process of what we were going to do since it was my first peel. She had magic hands apparently.. because I think I dozed off to sleep the last few minutes of the facial. The atmosphere of the place was nice and relaxing, they also offer tea and water for you to sip on while you wait and fill out "paper work" (they're going green and using an ipad). One of the owners was working the front desk that day, which I don't think she usually does, but she was so kind and friendly and I left the spa giving her a hug. I went to Dr. Shay to ask her about "eye twitch", and she answered all of my questions about Botox, including where to go for more information. Was then informed that the client before me arrived late and was in the process of getting her facial. No consideration for my time. The receptionist could/should have called to let me know they were running late. My facial was a half hour total procedure. At 12:18 I informed her I was leaving due to the fact i had a full day planned and needed to be done at the appointed time.
