This place is delicious! I heard about them about a week and a half ago and tried it for the first time. I went back a second time within that week because I just couldn't stop thinking about it. I had the shaken beef rice plate and crab rangoons both times, but am excited to try something new the next time I go. The workers are very nice, place is clean, and food came out quickly. We had a late lunch at Nudo today and it was delicious. We both got the banh mi combos since it was our first time there. The banh mi's were a perfect size and were filled with three types of pork along with pickled daikons and carrots, cucumber, jalapeño and cilantro. The combo also came with a egg roll which were piping hot and not greasy at all. We will be back to try other menu items. It's a cute little restaurant and the staff were extremely nice. This is literally the best Vietnamese food I've ever had in New Orleans. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, and easily missed, but the interior is cute and very clean. The server we had was charming and I very much enjoyed her personality. The overall vibe was very chill and calm and I got the vibe that all the food was prepared with care, as if it was their own food. My food came out a little slow, but MY GOD it was good. My friend had the rare steak pho and a banh mi; I had an order of shrimp spring rolls and then grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli bowl, as well as jasmine tea with lime. Horrifically bad experience. Order took so long to get we thought they went out of business. All of our attempts to contact them were ignored. Eventually had American Express reverse the charge in dispute. That's when we finally heard from them. Still engaged in an argument with them. Will never do business with them again. Recommend you don't either as you will likely get caught out having paid, while never receiving your merchandise, with them ultimately likely to enter bankruptcy. Negative 10 stars. read more
