Went to Ba Chi Kitchen + Bar for date night and this place did not disappoint. Honestly one of the hardest menus to choose from because everything looked amazing. I got the spicy sate oxtail stew with bread and a side of rice..so flavorful and comforting. We also tried the birria ramen, which was okay, could've used a little more punch, but still solid. The real highlight? The sake flight! Each glass came labeled with the name and flavor profile (sweet, savory, etc.)...such a fun touch and made the whole experience feel more curated. Ended the night with a king cake crème brûlée, which was just the right combo of festive and fancy. Service was friendly, attentive, and the whole vibe felt perfect for a laid-back but elevated night out. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Wanted to try a new spot out and came across Ba Chi Kitchen. When we walked in we were the only ones there but the service was great! Patient and attentive. Our service also helped with recommendations. We enjoyed everything especially that bulgogi beef! It had so much flavor omg I would highly recommend anything bulgogi. I also got an order of brisket pho to go (forgot to take a pic) but the pho broth was ok, not my favorite but it was decent. Give this place a try! I'll be back

I've been meaning to try this place forever and I finally got around to it! It was pretty empty on the side of the restaurant we were on and there was no music so it was quiet. I came with my mind on trying to roti tacos for sure. We tried the appetizer sampler and the pork gyoza was definitely the best thing, I'd get that by itself next time. The roti tacos were heavenly! 10/10 omg! We got the chicken tacos because my friend is allergic to seafood so I definitely will be trying all the other proteins the next time I'm there. The Kim chi fries were delicious too! The dragon fruit cocktail was my favorite! I didn't love my pork char ramen but it wasn't enough to alter my decision that I'll definitely be back

Good spot to get Viet and Asian fusion food here. I got the baos which I've never seen a big menu of baos before! My favorite was the fish with miso sauce. The food was good, I got the fries and it was huge and flavorful, it was interested to take a bite and the kimchi was cold with the hot fries and sauce. I wish there was more beef, quality of it was okay. Overall I'd come back!

A friend recommended us to try this Vietnamese restaurant while we were in Nola. We were definitely very impressed with all the food we ate in Nola and were looking forward to trying this restaurant. The restaurant was big and nice. We went there for lunch on Saturday and there were only 2 customers including us. We ordered their famous bun bo hue. It's good but nothing's special. It's basically like tom yum noodle soup. The pork belly banh mi was mediocre (the Kim chi fries were good though) The yaki soba was disappointing. For $25 we expected more on the yaki soba but it was basically like the food we could get from food court in LA. The Vietnamese food was definitely not as good as the one in LA. Won't recommend this place.

We've been here twice now. Both times on Tuesday. Ba Chi has a special/deal daily. Of course Tuesday is the taco special. I think each taco is $2.99 each. First visit we tried every taco. My favorite is the beef. The second visit you can see the pictures on this post. My daughter got the seafood ramen, my girlfriend ordered the combination ramen, and l ordered the Shaken beef. I would get the Shaken beef again but I'd pay for extra beef. Everything was tasty. My daughter tried the Ube dessert but she thought it would be sweeter. The waitress suggested we had condensed milk and that took the dessert to the next level! The staff here is incredible. The restaurant is spacious. Big enough for a group meal. Parking is limited so be prepared for that.

SO GOOD me and my man ate there last night for valentine's day and it was so worth it. we got some pho and it was really good, we also got the sweet chili wings, they were soooo good so crispy so delicious like omg. my favorite part of our meal was the wings.. if you couldn't tell. also i think there were 6 big wings but we devoured them before we could take a picture lol so it's a good amount for two people, definitely recommend this place for a night out, the service was good too.

So amazing!! The food here is top tier. And the new location is Metairie has really cool interior decor. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu. So far nothing has disappointed. In my opinion they have the best espresso martini in the New Orleans area. They make theirs with Ube. It's so good!!

Love this new location! I worked near Ba Chi when they were located near the river-bend, and have been missing them since they left. It was such a treat to have lunch at their new spot today. They are conveniently located near Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie. There was parking right in front of the building, so that's a win, and I'm loving the interior as well. Service was excellent and so was the food. As it is a Friday in Lent, I went with a meatless option and had a tofu and shrimp rice bowl with sweet chili sauce. It was delicious! The tofu and shrimp were perfectly cooked and the sauce had just the tiniest bit of kick - just the way I like it. I'm looking forward to returning!

I've never eaten from here before and I ordered DoorDash and I got the Bun Bo Hue. I kid you not. I called the restaurant and told them I am coming to move in IT's DELICIOUS BUT MORE THAN DELISH. The packing and everything was impeccable. I am looking forward to dining in person. I want to try the entire menu over time. They made a phenomenal first impression on me. That's saying A LOT because I can COOK! I'll be there. At least once a week I can see me now lol talking about "I need my fix" lmao. Get the BUN BO HUE, you're WELCOME. If you don't like spicy, it is NOT FOR YOU, or KIDS. I love spice & me saying it's spicy means it up there.

Heard about this place and had to go try it. To say I was impressed is an understatement and I really have to visit again to really dive into the menu. Food was great service was attentive ambience was cool but don't expect a 5 star vibe. If you are looking for wobbly tables with satisfying dishes this is your place to go. It was my first to so I tried to go for something that I expected to be good and was very content with my decision. Tried the lemon grass flavored wings and all that I can say is that it was top tier Brisket Pho could've had a little more meat in it but the broth was hitting Overall 7 out of 10. Will be back and updating the review after my next visit.

This was my 2nd time here. The first time I came for lunch, tonight was for dinner. Lunch was busy but the food and service were still great. Tonight it was quiet, so we sat in the bar area to have higher tables. The waiter/bartender was pleasant, attentive and informative. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. There was nothing on the appetizer sampler I didn't like. The egg rolls, chicken, and gyoza were great as well as the sauces to go with them. My daughter had the kids chicken and fries. The fries were hot and fresh and reminded me of the fries at Great Steak. The chicken tenders were very bland and a bit dry. My daughter got full quickly so I told her when we reheat, we can add some sauce and reheat in the oven. I'd imagine for kids they make the food a bit bland so that's ok though it would have been nice for them to have a little more season/flavor. My significant other had the oxtails. He cleaned his plate , and I tasted some also. They were very good. I started the evening wanting a steak, but my significant other wanted to eat here since he's never been. I then thought I'd eat some ramen but looking at the menu, I didn't like the ramen combination options. The waiter introduced a new item, not on the menu that the chef just created today. It looked and smelled very good but wasn't the taste I was looking for. There were two nice sized and nicely fried soft shelll crabs. The crabs however were very bland and had no seasoning. I can't explain the taste of the sauce but it was fishy like with a bit of heat and very greasy where I could take the grease. I had leftovers when I got home and warmed it and it just wasn't good at all. I'd like to think I have a pretty exquisite pallet but I didn't care for this dish at all. I'd certainly come back, but likely won't try this again if it becomes a regular menu item. Service has been consistently good!

In the restaurant business, we all have a switch: once the doors open, it flips. Until then, you're seeing people exactly as they are. This team is genuine. Hands down. Yes, I know, I'm technically here for a king cake. Standing in line for a king cake from a famous fried chicken company almost feels satirical. But watching the entire team sit down together for a meal an hour before service told me everything I needed to know about the leadership and the values of this company. People matter here. You can see why the sandwiches are as good as they are. You can feel why the king cake is worth the wait. This team operates like a family; kind to one another, intentional, and connected. The food is made with care because the people are cared for. I'm not here to review the food (which is phenomenal) or the king cake. I'm here to review the brand.
