Service was quick from ordering to being served. I ordered the Southwest omelet and my friend ordered the blueberry pancakes. Both were much larger than we expected, and solid for what we paid for. Came for a quick Sunday brunch and had a solid meal for two. No wait time upon walk in around 130-145p. The service was friendly and very quick. There wasnt much noise from diners as it was past the peak h brunch hour. We could hear the acoustic covers playlist in the background. I got the salmon florientene with coffee, my partner got the ahi tuna florientene with coffee. We shared a single chocolate chip pecan pancake and the two grilled sticky buns. All in all it was good. No complaints about the meal really. I did find my salmon to be a bit on the salty side, but since the shredded homefries didn't have much salt to them it worked out. This little hidden gem I've been missing out on all this time, well not anymore! Cute breakfast/lunch place in Ardmore on Cricket. I parked in the parking garage right near the cafe, parking was cheap only $2.00 for 3 hours. The place is cutely decorated and kinda of busy. They have a bar you sit at, don't think they have alcoholic drinks but in case you just want to grab a bite and be to yourself. Looks like there's some fancy coffee/espresso they make there too. Stumbled into Nudy's while visiting Philly (30 minute drive away). We were greeted by the warmest hostesses! They were super kind and communicative and I definitely appreciated that. Service was okay, not super impressionable. Dino was our server and although he wasn't the most attentive I wouldn't say he was a bad server! I will say he was definitely efficient in getting us our food and remembering our orders. Food was also okay. Although the portions were nice and they had a nice amount of menu choices, the food could use more seasoning. However there was one member of my party who described the carrot cake French toast as the best they've ever had so maybe if I return I may try the sweet route instead of savory. This place is always so busy on weekends for breakfast/brunch and that's because this is a solid breakfast spot with reasonable prices, where you can find a lot of options for whatever you might want to eat -- eggs, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, etc. My husband would probably give this place a 4/5 or 5/5 since he enjoys the food here. He especially loves the pancakes which are GINORMOUS. I got the mediterranean wrap but I wouldn't really say it's my favorite.. it was a bit too vinegar-y for my taste and there was more wrap than things in it. My mother and I went here for breakfast when we were visiting the area, and it was great! I had the french toast, and it was really good, good texture and flavor. Omg, why didn't anyone tell me about Nudy's sooner?! I wander around Ardmore often and I can't believe I missed this place but it's about to be in the regular rotation going forward! Such a cozy restaurant with cute decor - I was immediately sold by the wall art that says, "Start Each Day Like It's Your Birthday." The menu is very much giving Cheesecake Factory vibes - endless options! And the best part is that you get a bang for your buck with nice sized portions and it's not pricey (for this reason I'm happy Nudy's is only located in the suburbs because I feel like the same dishes at a downtown Philly restaurant would easily be at least $5 more). Breakfast is served all day - YAY! I now see why the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes are listed as a Yelp favorite and I'm looking forward to trying not only the Cinnamon French Toast next visit but all the cool & creatively flavored pancakes & french toast. The indecisive (or perhaps greedy) part of me had to order lunch as well and it was a hard decision but I got the crabcake salad and ended up having them serve it as a sandwich in a pita - love the fact that all salads can be served as wraps too! My mom had the Granny Smith Chicken Salad which was scrumptious along with french fries that were fried to perfection and her friend had the most delicious looking Barbecue Chopped Salad. Our server Kara was very nice and attentive as well as the hostess Katie made sure to give us a warm welcome upon entry and thanked us for dining when we were exiting. We also were seated immediately, since we dined during the week during lunch hours but I hear it gets crowded on the weekend so the earlier the better. Nudy's is just what Ardmore needed! Only open for breakfast and lunch but you can order either the whole time they are open. They seem to be always busy but this is a fairly large restaurant so I don't think the wait is ever horrible and it's worth the wait anyway! Their breakfast items range from sweet to savory. Some of the sweet items seem truly decadent! I was tempted to order one of those but decided my stomach couldn't handle one of those on that particular day. Instead, I ordered the turkey club and it was everything a turkey club should be! Really good sandwich with thick pieces of bacon. A few different bread choices. I got the multi grain bread. My daughter and I have been craving a good breakfast spot, so we decided to try Nudy's Cafe in Ardmore for the first time this morning. We got there at just the right time as we got the last available table. A very friendly hostess took us to our table and right after we sat down, our waiter TJ came over and asked us what he could bring us for drinks. One nice thing was throughout our meal, our waiter as well as the other waitresses were walking around checking to see if the patrons needed a refill on their cups of coffee, so I never had an empty cup. Our waiter also checked on us throughout the entire meal to make sure we had drink refills and to see how our food was. My daughter and I decided to split the cheesesteak omelet and the California Eggs Benedict. The omelet came with toast and both entrees came with a huge helping of home fries. The home fries were shredded potatoes that definitely needed salt and pepper since they weren't seasoned and only the outsides were crispy leaving the middle of the home fries undercooked. The cheesesteak omelet was absolutely delicious and chockfull of tender and flavorful chipped steak with lots of American cheese. The California Eggs Benedict had perfectly toasted English muffins, a couple slices of tomato and a TON of avocado. I think this was the most avocado I've ever gotten on a breakfast entree. On one half of the Eggs Benedict, the poached egg was cooked perfectly where the yolk was nice and runny, but the second poached egg was overcooked with very little runny yolk. The Hollandaise sauce was light, creamy and delicious and we wished we had just a little bit more sauce because it was that good. All in all, we'd give Nudy's Cafe 4 stars for food, 5 stars for service and 5 stars for the restaurant's cleanliness and ambiance. We'll definitely be back again for another breakfast or to try Nudy's Cafe for lunch. read more

They didn't add salt and pepper to my bag and unfortunately, I was in the middle of moving and didn't have any available. The food was just bland and it didn't sit well after I finished it. The Ardmore location is resting on its laurels. Food could be more consistent, sometimes hot or cold. The wait staff rushes you out, even though they say take your time. While waiting for take-out food (which always needs to be checked to see if it includes everything you ordered), F-bombs are flying from the kitchen. That's a real bad look for any business. When you complain about your order not being up to snuff, all you get is "we're sorry." That doesn't cut it, no offer from management to rectify things. If you like Nudy's, try the Havertown location; food is fresh, wait staff is courteous and attentive, and they use real size coffee mugs. I can't understand how this place could've gotten any bad reviews. I ate here earlier today and everything from the food, to the service, to even the coffee, was excellent! I had the crab omelette with tomatoes, onions asparagus, and topped with hollandaise sauce. Being that it was full of crab, it was a total bargain. The accompanying hash browns were crispy and flavorful. I totally broke my 2 year low carb diet by having a grilled sticky bun on the side. No long descriptions, but dudes, it's a STICKY BUN, so how can it not be good....lol!!!! My lady had the pumpkin cake French toast....Yes, i tasted that too. It was melt in your mouth good. Lightly battered pumpkin cake served with whipped cream and a side of cream cheese frosting.... Finally, and most importantly (at least to me), was the coffee. Since I drink mine unsweetened and black, I notice imperfections right away. This coffee was rich, bold, with not one bit of bitterness. Honestly, if I didn't live 30 miles away in Delaware, I'd stop by every morning just for a cup to go. On my way out, I noticed a couple having the pancakes. I've eaten at the Nudy's in Berwyn area and now Ardmore several times. Their breakfast is typical in my honest opinion. They serve a good seared tuna sandwich, best thing I've had there. Recently went in with my work group for breakfast and our waitress was so on it. I really appreciate when wait staff just do their jobs. No extra giddiness or attitude, just, more coffee? Is everything ok? Butter, sure! She managed our table well, and I wish I could remember her name to shout her out. They get a lot of customers during the week, so I can imagine they are likely very busy on weekends. The dining area is a decent size with big windows.
