We recently purchased a new home, and after 5 months, our tub began peeling. We contacted our Realtor who put us in touch with NuFinishPro (who had refinished the tub as part of the home remodel prior to us purchasing). James from NuFinishPro quickly offered to come out and fix our tub, at no cost to us. He scheduled an appointment that worked with our schedule. On the day of, his colleagues (Roberto & Bianca) arrived on time, and did a fantastic job redoing the tub. They were here for about 1.5 hours, very respectful, and our tub now looks brand new again! They also let us know that the reason for the peeling was due to our using a suction cup tub mat (for our Toddler). Apparently this was clearly called out in documents sent to our Realtor when the tub was originally refinished, but not something we were made aware of during the purchase of the home. Regardless that this was likely what caused the peeling in the first place, James and team still took it upon themselves to repair the tub and educate us on how to take care of it moving forward. I love my clean, smooth kitchen sink. Easy to schedule and kept up to date on schedule. The worker showed up on time and got right to work. During the process, it got very smelly from the chemicals but a exhaust tube was used to try to keep most of the smell outside. When finished, there was a black spot that was left behind as well as a lot of dust. I contacted them the next day and they sent the worker back out to fix the spot. Showed up as promised, fixed the spot and now I have a beautiful clean and smooth sink. The only bad side is I have a lot of dust to clean up. read more

NuFinish redid our tub and tile and they look great. However, we did notice several places in our bathroom where the paint was peeled where they removed masking tape, and also our window sill is sprayed a white color minus where some masking tape was. Had a nasty looking bathtub with the finishing wearing down in several places. I went to yelp and asked for a quote on a Monday for re-glazing my tub through yelp and I received a response fairly quickly. The person I spoke with asked for pictures to help determine a more precise quote, so I provided a few. After the photos were sent and letting her know I would have the shower doors removed, I received another prompt response with a fair quote. Amazingly, I was able to get someone out on Friday of the same week. The gentleman that preformed the work was professional and did not cause any drips onto the tile floor or the bathtub. I was told to wait 48-72 hours before using the tub, which was not a problem. I re-installed the shower doors a week later and have not had any issues with peeling or bubbling. Thank you for your promptness in the office as well as the applier. If I have any other bathtubs or know anyone who needs this type of work done, I will highly recommend. read more

I had high hopes for these folks. It was easy enough getting an estimate and an appointment. I called other surface reglazing contractors but went with nufinishpro because they had the soonest availability, were half the price of the other bids, and promised the project would be completed in one day. They were a no show and a no call, even though they sent me an email the night before to confirm my appointment with Jonny @ 8am. This was particularly frustrating because I spent the entire day before the appointment deep cleaning and stripping the bathrooms of hardware, I also made arrangements to be out of the house while they sprayed. When I called to find out why no one had showed up it went straight to a Voicemail. I got a call back late in the evening from someone who wasn't able to explain to me what happened with my appointment. I decided to not reschedule. Update: I was pleasantly surprised that the owner of the company called me first thing in the morning after reading about my experience to apologize for what had happened. I called three companies about refinishing/reglazing my old (70+years) oversize pink cast iron bathtub. One business never got back to me; the 2nd one was too busy to come for almost a month and the price was high; Nufinish Pro's office staff, especially Anthony and Laurie, were very helpful and professional when I called them. Anthony quoted a price I considered fair with a warranty, gave us a 10% senior discount and set a date for about a week away. Jonny, the wonderful young refinisher/technician, showed up on time and examined the tub, saying he could fix it up...and he really did!! He got to work immediately and worked diligently, changing the color to white. It is hard work...not an easy job! Now, it glistens and looks brand new.
