Aside, I'm a petite individual: I inquired with Customer Service if, I may " . . . borrow a Customer Service Member's height for reaching two products which are too high for me reaching." A Customer Service Member laughed when I stated I didn't want the glass bottles cracking my head, i.e., safely assisting reaching and giving me the organic, Tart Cherry Juice and the organic, Lemon Olive Oil I wanted purchasing. Moreover, I wanted purchasing BULK organic spices and organic tea as well . . . Love love this store! Wish we had one in Scottsdale! Not only is this store beautifully laid out with very friendly and welcoming staff but the butcher shop is very well equipped and the butchers are super nice. My favorite is the variety of marinated meat in the refrigerated section. My son in law enjoys the bacon wrapped jalapeños! This store is beautiful and easy to find stuff! Hot good and pizza and sandwiches and coffee bar and a cheese section where a sample is available of their daily specials. The produce is excellent and fresh! A must visit store. read more

Too many chances over the years, and after a recent experience, I had to write a review. I grew-up going to the original Nugget, and I loved it! However, this location does not live up to their standards. Went to the deli to order a sandwich. I and other patrons are told they ran out of avocado and pickles. How is this possible? They're a grocery store. I asked if they would discount the price, but they refused. I still decided to order. The sandwich employee making my sandwich was coughing on my sandwich the entire time he was making it. Hands me the sandwich, and I rejected to purchase it. The sandwich was less than an inch thick. I have never seen a sandwich of that poor quality in all the years I've been a customer. I can't justify buying from this location moving forward. read more

This is one of my favorite grocery stores whenever we're in Roseville. I love what it has to offer especially when I was Vegan years ago. Great selection! Always clean and organized! Service is great. For this visit I just did a quick one to pick up some pastries and check out was fast. Staff was warm and cheerful and offered some napkins. Very much appreciated! Nugget Markets does it again... made a Holiday Open House for 40 neighbors and friends the best ever with select Party Platters. In lieu of lots of prep. we just go online to the "Gourmet to Go" section and order an array of platters in advance of the party and then pick up the morning of the event. It's so easy. Nugget always does an impressive job and everyone loves the variety of things we get, even enough for vegetarian options. They do a beautiful job arranging and displaying the offerings in wood boxes. It's so easy and attractive, and no need to transfer to other platters or dishes. The chicken skewers were a big hit, and especially the green Thai sesame sauce which many commented on. One person who makes homemade dolmas commented that the Nugget dolmas were top notch and delicious from the Mezze platter, as was the variety of cheeses in the cheese platter we got. The cookies and desserts were another big hit. The only downside was the roast beef in the Specialty Aram sandwiches was tough and chewy. After looking over many other catering alternatives Nugget Market is the easiest, most comprehensive for a variety of choices, and excellent quality. Even the staff is wonderful. One woman took us from place to place, deli to bakery to cheese area, to make sure we had each item, and that we were satisfied. The price can add up quickly but for the quality and convenience it can't be beat. This is one of many times we have used Nugget Market catering for an array of parties. Great place for specialty items. Cleanest, most well put-together grocery store I've been to. There's always people around but it never feels to crowded (at least during the week). Their rotisserie chickens are great. More expensive than Costco of course, but the only ingredient is chicken and they taste delicious. Staff is always so nice and seems happy to be there. Their prepared foods way surpass my expectations of a grocery store. Cheese and meat selection is top notch. If you have no budget you could really go crazy here. read more

I love this location for it's diversity, respectful customer service, incredible seasonal produce, and delicious rosemary bread! Great beer selection. When we have time in the mornings, my family loves to grab a smoothie here. The green smoothie , "triple g" is my favorite, and "the red eye" is mild and sweet, good for my sons . The breakfast burritos are not very good. I liked them initially, but the more I ate them, I realized how weird the texture of the eggs is...kinda the texture of tofu, and how the refried beans combined kinda make for weird mush. I won't order them anymore, but you do you. There's a great area at the top of the stairs to enjoy a smoothie or a snack which is very convenient and welcoming. Bakery for all occasions, prepared meals for any situation, phenomenal cheeses for charcuterie, or juys to enjoy! A great Wine selection. Not pictured, but a great butcher counter as well, with so many cuts to satisfy the carnivore. They support local area, based out of Davis. When I want top shelf ingredients, I head to Nugget, for the Family and entertaining. The staff is always professional and nice as well. Yesterday officially will be my last time ever ordering a sandwich from here again. Called in advance. The sandwich was not ready then the guy burnt my turkey and did not melt the cheese on top of the meat. Instead, he melted it on top of the bread and put lettuce on top of the cheese and then the meat. The sandwich was disgusting and now the day after I feel sick 23 years of buying sandwiches from the nugget unfortunately I will no longer be going to this location to purchase any more sandwiches. Great service in the bakery department when I placed my order for a cake. I ordered the chocolate mouse cake. I requested special writing on the cake so i did not want the fancy design that normally goes with this cake. ( very fancy though )Bakery is very clean . Friendly , knowledgeable employees . The Nugget market is by far my favorite grocery store in the Roseville area. I never skip their juice or coffee bar. The Monster drink is my favorite smoothie, and the coffee freeze is my absolute obsession. I usually sip on one of those while I shop. All staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The store itself is always spotless and their selection is always great. During my last visit, the checkout clerk offered to walk me through the process of signing up for the Nuggets newsletter when he saw that I was purchasing a lot of nuts which happened to be on sale for "perks members". It's a personalized service like this one example that makes me not want to shop anywhere else. read more

I have never been to this location before I was meeting up with some friends for dinner and to hang out first thing I noticed this is a very large establishment very clean atmosphere and this location has conveniently has a coffee shop and they also make fresh smoothies to order this establishment has several different food items to choose from i forgot to take photos since my phone had a low battery I did visit the coffee shop and got a large white mocha decaf with whip it was very good I do wish that they had a reward program like other competitors have I work at another grocery store so I was comparing the differences in items and prices over all my experience here was great clean parking lot clean establishment we ate up stairs and while enjoy my friends company I did have to use the restroom which smelled and was very clean I was very impressed I highly recommend this establishment for anyone they definitely have something for everybody. Nugget Markets are truly the best. The organic food quality is outstanding--many items feel even better than what you find at Whole Foods, with fewer genetically modified ingredients and more options without seed oils. The juice bar is not loaded with sugar. Have products imported from Italy that has the same quality as Italy like the organic pasta. They offer hot food that is excellent as well. On top of that, the customer service is consistently exceptional. Store is always clean and inviting. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuinely courteous. I was on my way home from work and needed to stop at the store for dinner. Along the way, I decided I didn't want to cook, so I called ahead to the deli and asked if they accepted phone orders. I talked to the most pleasant man (wish I could remember his name). He asked what time I would like to pick up my order and when I arrived, my sandwich was warm and ready for me. I've ordered the Texas Hold'em before and I appreciate how it's always the way I expect it to be. The ciabatta bread is fluffy perfection and the perfect bread to sop up the Texas mayo. The smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, red onion will fill you up! It looks like a small sandwich but it's very filling. Hmmm- this could have been just as easily 4or 5 Stars. Here is why I landed at 3. I have been going to Nugget on Fairview for a while and enjoying it for lunch. They always seem to have a great balance of value, quality, taste, options, and cost. I have been to this nugget a few times and noticed what I call "cost creep" and it just doesn't sit well with me. Along with that, there are growing pains and learning that is happening and while understandable, sometimes the same things happen over and over even after offering feedback at the location. First, I have never been there when the hot bar didn't have dried, old food at $9.99 a pound. IMHO, either offer fewer choices fresh, or keep the options in that area fresh. I have not encountered that at the other location. Next, I do like the sushi options and find them to be fresh. Today, the standout was getting a freshly made poke bowl that was great! I have also had sandwiches made fresh as well. They opened up the dining room upstairs and it is a nice space. Overall, if you can get fresh made meals, it is a good value. So why the negative? Cost creep. They do provide water and cups, but they are tiny and the water is warm. At the other location they oftentimes had an infused one (think melon, cucumber, fruit etc) that was ice cold and then regular ice cold water. To get ice here, you have to buy a cup from the barista at $2 which is ridiculous. I have made this complaint to other establishments and I have told management, I am on board for paying you a quarter for a descent size cup of ice, especially considering that Starbucks will not hesitate to give me a grande cup of filtered ice water in their cool sippy cups for free. When you consider I dropped $45 for lunch, this seems like a small thing overall. And finally, I was shocked to find out the "cost" for what is normally free at other locations serving sushi. Specifically, extra ginger or wasabi. You can get extra, but it runs $1.75 for a 1oz cup. You can also get a side of seaweed for $5. In my opinion, that's just taking advantage of the customer, especially since the sushi plates now come with about a 1/3 teaspoon of wasabi and a few flakes of ginger. At the same time, the rolls offered are fresh and taste wonderful, but price out at similar costs to Tangs across the street where water, wasabi, and ginger are free and you have a server. Will I be back? Sometimes, but not as much as I planned because it just isn't the same as the other Nugget, and I feel these issues are easy to solve. read more

Wonderful atmosphere but... It was my first time here. I don't usually shop at The Nugget because they are pricey but I wanted to get something different for a department potluck. I was looking for mixed fruit platter but they only had individual packages with one type of fruit each. I asked an associate and he led me to someone, maybe the manager, in the produce section and he confirmed that they didn't have any mixed fruit trays. I was looking for French Bread, I asked an associate and she led me to where they were supposed to be aaaand the shelf was empty. She then told me that the "Italian" breads won't be ready until 9:00a... wait, what? I asked for French bread, not an Italian bread. Okaaaaay?? I didn't know they had a certain time in baking their breads depending on the two nations. Anyway, I don't have bankers hours so I left and went to Safeway where they were starting to bag them fresh from the oven. Got two loaves and I was on my merry way. We've now been to both Roseville locations and there are consistent from layout to very good customer service. The only differences noticed are this one lacks the Gelato Bar and this one has a better parking lot. Some items are a little less expensive here (2.99 here for a Sapporo versus 3.50) while others are very high ($13 here for 1.5 pounds of Bare Nuggets versus $17 for 4.0 pounds). read more

We have a number of grocery stores near our home, i.e., Safeway, Raley's, Raley's 1, and Savemart. What I noticed about their raw meats (chicken, pork, beef, turkey) is that after you bring them home and prepare them for cooking, they have a notable smell. Also, if you leave them in your fridge for about a day, the smell is even worse. With Nugget's meats, I have kept theirs in the fridge for three days without smelly issues whatsoever, no lie! To this day, even when Nugget Market on Blue Oaks or on Pleasant Grove are much further from our house, I am always keen to drive the extra mile not just for their awesome meat department, but also for their gluten free bakery items, their deli, etc. And did I mention they have outstanding, genuinely happy-to-assist-you employees? Wow, wow and wow! This place is a palatial monument to grocery stores. If you dislike Whole Foods, this locally owned corporation is a more worthy vendor for your culinary needs. The amazingly varied fresh produce is displayed like artwork. The main store layout is roomy, sparkling clean and stocked with all the favorite mainstream items and many upscale alternatives. I could spend hours here for the pure tourism. (I guess that sort'a the point, yes?) There's a big Safeway supermarket about 400 yards down the street. This Nugget kicks its ass to the curb. I'll probably never shop in that Safeway again. read more

Since opening day in 2021, the Nugget has been a great market for our quick trip type grocery runs. I find myself here at least a few times a month because their fresh breads and bagels are bomb, their coffee/juice bar has great selections, they always have fresh produce in stock, and their meats always come out great. Also their weekly secret specials are a steal! Overall is the Nugget pricier than other places? Yes. But do we always get quality food that tastes great and lasts a reasonable time? Yes. In my opinion paying a little extra has been worth the quality and the service from all their friendly staff, so we'll continue to shop here. For the adults, they've got a great selection of local crafts and wine. I'm a fan of the local brewery New Glory and the Nugget seems to get their latest brews a few weeks after they are released. read more

If I could rate higher I would. The New Nugget as I call this location... It is a walk from my house and I am there more than frequently. I reached out the the stores' director to let them know how fantastic their store and staff are... a few shout outs to a couple star employees. Christina S- the Cheese Guru!!! She never lets me down. Our family does not do cow milk and when I ask for alternate options she is able to give me ideas on what to try that is similar. She also gives great suggestions of new cheeses to try and they are as good and flavorful as she describes. THANK YOU!!! John- The Sushi Man!! his rolls are so delicious. When ever the counter is out of the rolls I usually pick up for my wife he is willing to prepare a fresh one. Many times my wife stops by to get lunch and he recognizes her and will sometimes make a fresh set for her. He is so nice and patient. Now a general shout out!-- the store is always clean. employees are always polite, nice and many of them quite funny. Through the masks, you can feel their smiles and they genuinely seem like they are interested in you as a human. While I often decline, I love the fact they ask if you'd like assistance to your car. It is such a small gesture that makes a huge difference. The banter that is carried on with the staff makes if feel like they are all family and there seems to be a sense of pride among them. We had a few email exchanges about what I was looking for. I showed her a few different pictures and she said she take it from there. She was clearly excited about doing the cake for the shower. So super excited to have found the new Nugget Market! I love the amazing space, decor and everything which makes Nuggets the preferential and special place to get your ready made meals, organic items, your GF options, etc. Love the continued friendly vibe and fresh selection of products at this place. We shop either here or at Pleasant Grove once or twice a week - and love it. Yesterday was a mess, which may have us only going to Pleasant Grove. Three things: 1) at 9:30 a.m they had one person working at the deli counter with 4 people in line. 2) we bought 'mild' chicken Italian sausage. Mild? Mis-labeled or made wrong. Cooked it last night and it was the spiciest thing I've ever tasted. 3) at checkout there was some confusion as to a case of water scanning. The cashier said something to a co-worker about it to which my wife responded thinking the cashier was talking to her. The cashier - with attitude - said "I wasn't talking to you" to my wife. We ordered a sheet cake & flowers for my parent's 70th anniversary party and had the wonderful Jen from floral and Emily from the bakery to help us. Jen called me several times to talk about the 3 arrangements we ordered and Emily called me a few days before the party to talk about the cake. I was really impressed with the attention to detail by both of them. The results were proof of that care. The floral arrangements were beautiful! Jen even created little floral arrangements for the cake. The cake turned out beautiful and was delicious.
