I also appreciate the comically oversized loaves of bread available (I bought one). Desserts are works of art, and all varieties I purchased were extremely good. Were they the best French pastries I've had from local purveyors? Not quite, but they were close. Parking was easier than expected, but it's all street parking, and available spaces filled up quickly after I arrived.
