Raspberry Creme Cake- 6 inch- Serving 10

The staff were very friendly and great at answering all my questions. I ordered a small cake for my mom that has celiac's for her birthday. They were flexible with fitting in the shorter time frame- ordered the cake on Tuesday for a Saturday pick-up. The bakery was clean and smelled delicious inside. Pick-up was easy and the cake looked great. The only feedback is that the cake was really dry. I have had gluten free desserts and cake before and this cake tasted like it was a few days old. It was just disappointing especially because of the price point of the cake ($99). I have had cupcakes from there before that were really yummy. My recommendation would be to stick to cupcakes and other small sweet treats because that's where they really shine!

What would I do without Kyra's? I recently tried one of their sandwiches and realized I've really been missing out. It's amazing that everything is gluten free, and there are so many vegan options. Their donuts and cupcakes are my favorites!

It can go easily unnoticed that this is a gluten free kitchen! Meaning, all they make is celiac-friendly (per their own self-definition). Somehow their gluten free super status is not advertised on their website or anywhere, really, but all goods are GF! All I tried was delicious. One can tell that the texture is not exactly the same as goods from a "regular" bakery, but all considered I think they do a fantastic job at their offering. This is probably the GF bakery with the most variety of offerings in the whole metro area. A piece of heaven for the GF community! Highly recommended!

    Cinnamon Roll

I guess they're pinching pennies - what other explanation is there for putting a heated up cinnamon roll covered in icing in a box with another item? It's disappointing to leave this review because the staff were kind, everything looked clean and well kept if not a bit outdated - the pastries were expensive but good - it's just irritating to drive 30 minutes to try out one of the very few celiac safe bakeries only to have a mid experience due to poorly thought out packaging. Probably won't make a trip back.

Y'all....$10 for a tea latte?? What are we doing. I was SHOCKED. I understand things are expensive these days but steamed almond milk and a tea bag? I love their desserts and gf/df options. However, I won't be able to continue to come here to enjoy at that price point.

AMAZING!!! My family and I always stop at Kyras. Coming from a family with very rigid dietary restrictions, it's the best!! The cupcakes are our favorites, but the cinnamon rolls sure gave them a run for their money. Such a cute place, with absolutely spectacular recipes! Whenever Kyra is there, she greets us with a smile, and we are so happy to have this place when we visit town. We LOVE Kyras!!!

Enjoyed my stop into this cute bake shop, service was quick and coffee was great. Definitely recommend trying a few of the pastries, it's hard to decide on just one.

While visiting Portland, we stumbled upon Kyra's Bake Shop, discovering that the owner of the bakeshop had won Cupcake Wars four times, so we definitely had to check it out! The shop is actually quite large, cutely decorated with two large counter windows of products to pick from. These goodies expanded beyond cupcakes to also include muffins, cookies, quices, cake, and a few other pastries. - candy cane cupcake - pumpkin cream cheese muffin - peppermint latte I enjoyed my pumpkin muffin. The flavor of the pumpkin was distinct, without being overpowering and the cream cheese inside was a nice complimentary flavor. I do wish there was a little bit more cream cheese inside though. My partner ordered the candy cane cupcake and peppermint latte. She said the cupcake was tasty, with a subtle candy cane flavor. The cupcake was moist but the buttercream seemed a bit too buttery/oily. She did like the latte though. Definitely a unique spot with a cool story; be prepared to pay about $5 per cupcake/muffin.

Their hot chocolate cupcakes are the best! We also love their pecan pie during the holidays:)

I think 2-3 per person is more than enough. I myself am good with two to myself, but we always get a few more so we can try more flavors. We got a few to go and my favorite was definitely the spicy sausage. The cream cheese danish was also phenomenal. The eggs inside were also super soft and not over cooked. I do wish they had a slightly bigger menu, while there were a number of kolaches, it really seemed to just be different combinations of egg, cheese, and some breakfast protien (sausage, bacon, etc.). So one is just egg, then another is egg and cheese, another is sausage, egg, and cheese, then just sausage and egg, etc. All the different combos make it seem like there's a lot, but the real flavor options didn't vary a ton. But I will 100% be back, as it's a great grab and go breakfast options that's super delicious.
