We just moved to the area from pretty far away so finding a new Chinese joint is always scary. Thanks to door dash reviews we picked this place. The food came fast! It was hot and super fresh. I ordered the mixed vegetables with spicy garlic sauce, asked for extra spice which usually translates to extra greasy but I was pleasantly surprised and it was just a really nice spicy sauce, not too much oil! The veggies were crisp and there was a great mix of them. The veggie spring rolls had a great nostalgic flavor , they were super crispy and we loved them. The order was packaged nicely, they even gave me a nice mix of hot sauce, spicy mustard and soy sauce. If you haven't tried them, do it, they're great! read more

I think this is he best Chinese Eatery beachside on the Space Coast, I get food here regularly. I usually get the Vegetable Fried Rice and the Vegetable Spring Rolls, but never had Chow Mein before, which I thought comes with soft hot noodles, but no!! It is the Lo Mein that comes with the hot soft noodles!! I thought my order had been screwed up when there was no soft noodles, but it was just me being confused about Chinese Food, my Chow Mein order came with a bag of crispy noodles, as it should be. Some pictures online show Chow Mein with hot soft noodles, but maybe that is just the American version. The employees at this eatery are real Chinese people but not sure if they speak Mandarin or Cantonese. One time I gave them a printed order in Chinese I translated with Google, and they asked no questions and the order was perfect! They speak good English and will understand you perfectly when you order with them! Food is always hot and fresh, and comes with large portions. This place definitely deserves 5 stars!! read more

Unfortunately I do not have anything positive to say about Kim Bo Chinese Restaurant. I went in on a Sunday night to pick up dinner for myself - sweet-n-sour chicken and steamed rice. Nothing fancy. Something every Chinese takeout place has on the menu. The price was good, about $10, but that's where the excitement ended. The chicken looked, smelled, tasted, and felt (texture) like it had been previously cooked, refrigerated, and microwaved to be served to me. Same for the rice. The sweet-n-sour sauce had a hint of chemical cleaner in the smell and taste (not sure what that was about). I didn't even try the egg roll. I guess I caught them on a bad night, not sure; but, since there is another Chinese take-out place down the street, I probably won't be back. read more

Kim Bo in cocoa beach never fails me! Always a good meal here with whatever I get. Food is always quick, fresh and hot. Staff is always polite and friendly. I typically get general tso lunch and it's consistently great. Chicken is white breast meat chunks as well. Don't hesitate to eat here. read more

So typical Chinese food in a typical setting. Bo Bo platter contains 2 of most of the apps. Pork rib went out of the freezer into the fryer, and was freezer burnt. Remaining item's "food service acceptable". Guessing the eggroll falls in that category as well (i.e. not homemade). Hot and sour soup not sour enough, but had a good amount of "stuff" in it. Shrimp in garlic sauce was well cooked and quite tasty. White rice was perfectly fluffy. Moo Shu pork was tasty, up to the point I unrolled the wrappers and saw the mold on each of them. I've eaten here about 5-10 times so far and the food is always pretty good. The house fried rice is my son's favorite. I've had other items on the menu (egg rolls, Kung Pao Chicken, etc.) have always been cooked well and not too greasy. This place, like most local chinese take-outs in the area, sells canned sodas so plan ahead and have some ready at home instead of paying $1 per can. read more

Not the best I've had in Brevard (No 1 is imo), but the best near me. The young lady working the front desk and phones always wears a smile and is upbeat. Quick (10 min), hot, and normally a good amount of food for the price aka standard chinese take out. I'm a regular and she still doesn't recognize me...or at least she pretends not too. read more

BEST takeout Chinese food in Cocoa Beach, bar none. Consistency and quality food, high quality meat, crispy veggies. Eat there 1-2 weekly never had a bad anything. Broccoli Beef, Snow Peas & Beef are awesome. Lo Mein beef or pork or special also great. Roast port fried rice or special fried rice are really good. Food is always on time or faster than they say. Christmas dinner for the win! Decided to start a new tradition and thanks to fellow yelpers had no problem giving this place a try. Highly suggest their vegetable spring rolls...so crisp and tasty. Veggie delight comes with tofu, bean curd with garlic, and vegetable lo mein are great vegan options. Chicken with broccoli, General Tso and Szechuan chicken are all great options too. Pretty expensive for unsatisfactory Chinese takeout. Peas and carrots in poorly cooked rice. Giant mushrooms in the shrimp and lobster sauce with no lobster and more peas and carrots that muddy up the taste. They're not even trying to cook decent Chinese takeout. 3 stars is too many but hoping they start putting out better food for what they are charging. read more

Hellooooooo Mall Chinese food! If you want New York Chinese food then don't go here...maybe they were trying for upstate New York? We live in town and have avoided this place due to a purchase 4 years ago, so we decided to try it again... Pork Egg roll could have been great, except there was NO pork inside...zero! That's not a "New York egg roll" that's a mall, or super market frozen SPRING ROLL! Basic crap that should be done right...simple stuff should be simply done. Pork fried rice- was lacking in pork, it was also lacking in being fried, and flavor!! Pet peeve of mine and a mall classic...Using "Veg-All" in fried rice! Bourbon Chicken- almost zero flavor, but a good juicy cook. Has potential, just zero flavor. Service- guy at front counter (with hat backwards) had trouble with English, not very friendly, but he was honest..... which I very much appreciate! Gave an extra star for that! He saved me $4.25 because he told me their soup noodles were bought, and not made at the place. Store bought "Chinese" noodles are the worst and are not "New York" style! Prices- about 20 percent too much, but that's probably because of the rent they pay due to being in a tourist area.....but they do have beautiful laminated menus for takeout...save the money and make better food. Conclusion- if you can get off the island,then go somewhere else or just get something different. Maybe try the Mexican place a few doors down.....AMAZING! So much food! P.s. There is another Hop Bo in Viera that is 10 times better...they can't possibly be related....at least I hope not. read more

Walked in to pick up a to go order. Was greeted right away, super friendly staff and they were really quick on the order! We ordered the general tso chicken, egg rolls and crab rangoon. The General Tso is made with all white meat chicken, was perfectly cooked and the sauce was great! It comes with white rice and broccoli there was plenty to split between 2 people. The egg rolls are good as well and the crab rangoon was delicious. Highly recommend this place we were extremely happy with the food and service!! read more

We got into our hotel pretty late and most restaurants were closed. Kim Bo was the only thing that's open in the area so we went in and ordered some standard Chinese American dishes like beef and broccoli, sesame chicken. I was expecting something from the $1.35 a scoop place but to my disappointment, the dishes didn't have much flavor and were pretty greasy.
