Absolutely a scam operation. I went to Number One Customs because they advertised XPEL XR Plus Prime on Yelp. After the tint was.installed, I asked for an invoice, and that's when the red flags started. The person claiming to be "Richard" began stuttering and dodging my request. It took over a week--and only after I threatened to write a bad review--that they finally gave me an invoice. Guess what? There was no mention of XPEL anywhere on it. I then asked for the XPEL warranty card, and they went completely silent. I called XPEL customer service directly, and they confirmed that Number One Customs had applied to be an authorized dealer but were rejected. XPEL also said they aren't supplying them with films. When I confronted Richard, he admitted they weren't buying from XPEL but from a shop called Rapid Window Tinting. I called Rapid, and they denied any relationship with Number One Customs. At this point, I have no idea what they even installed on my car. The dishonesty and deception are outrageous. Avoid this place at all costs--they are scammers, plain and simple. I found Number One Tint Shop through Yelp. I put in a request to various tint shops in the area and decided to go with this one. We did a ceramic tint on all windows and the windshield. The window tint came out PERFECT. It has kept my car cooler than before. The only thing was the windshield was giving me problems. It made bright LED lights extremely blurry at night. I was super frustrated because it was hard to drive at night but as soon as I told Alex there was a problem, he was very responsive and helped me. We troubleshooted it a bit, but ultimately the issue was consistent. He decided to completely redo the windshield tint (free of charge) and now it is no longer blurry. I appreciate how responsive, respectful, and professional Alex was along the whole process. He listened to all my concerns and made sure that I was happy with the tint. I can't rave enough about Alex & his team here at number one tint shop!! I was a little hesitant at first because they didn't have a lot of reviews but I'm so glad I took a chance on their shop. Alex was amazingly helpful & super super patient with me as we went over tint options and went extremely above and beyond in making sure everything was exactly to my liking. They use the best Xpel Prime XR Plus tint here (has 71% TSER on the darkest tint). I've done so much research on different tint brands & types like 3M, Motor Shield, Rayno etc, but in the end I wanted to go with Xpel for my Tesla. He showed me examples of different tint %s against my windows & we went back and forth even after I had dropped off my car (I'm super indecisive haha), but he took everything with grace & was extremely kind/ responsive. They ended up working overtime to finish my car same day. Even when I got my initial quote he personally responded right away although it was late at night. Alex really takes customer service to another level! Not to mention his prices are amazing!!!!! When it came time to pickup my car, he offered to give me a ride back to his shop. I can tell he truly cares about his customers & wants them to be 1000% satisfied with his work. They also have vinyl & PPF wrapping services. I will be coming back in a few months for that. After the great tinting experience here, I know I'll be in good hands for all his other services too. They're originally an auto body shop that expanded their services & now additionally offer tinting/ wrapping services. If you have any needs for auto body shop work I would recommend them too. Just bought my first ever brand new car, a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance and wanted to protect my investment for many years of ownership, and learned quickly about ppf and how highly recommended they are. And thus, my journey to get a full front ppf, tint and ceramic coating began. After getting quotes for over 15 shops, Number One Customs beat out every price and checked every single box - from value, quality of materials, professionalism, communication, location and even turn around time. A part of me was a little hesitant - it's gotta be too good to be true. But their abundance of finished work shown on their Instagram, the consistent flawless reviews on Yelp - I decided to go for it. And I couldn't have been happier with the result. Anton and the team was so incredibly kind, professional, responsive, and gave me one hell of a deal. I even ended up rescheduling 3 times due to unforeseen circumstances and he was completely understanding and flexible every time. The work was incredible! Cuts were clean, edges were covered and folded behind panels, tints have virtually no bubbles, and everything was done within just a few days. So I recently got my DREAM CAR, and when you really love your car, you will do everything possible to keep it looking sharp. But being a newbie to all things car-related, I wasn't sure what I needed. I thought...ceramic tint for the windows? That's where I was starting and I thought, ending, until I heard about PPF and ceramic coatings. It was overwhelming, but I forged ahead and got a bunch of quotes from a bunch of businesses - most of which were astronomical and I simply couldn't afford. I thought, ok, I'll only be able to afford a ceramic tint on my windows. Alex from Number One Tint Shop was the only business that asked me, "What's your budget, and what can we do to work with it?" Wow. You had me at your quote for ceramic window tint! (Which was the best for the quality of materials - Xpel). Long story short, my beautiful baby not only has perfectly tinted windows, but also has a partial PPF (Xpel with self-healing properties - I don't even know what that means but I wish I could get it for my own body!) for the two front fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, headlights, and the ENTIRE hood (not just the first 18 inches like a typical bra.) And from the pic that I attached, you can see the hood is SO LONG. The story does not end here! On top of the PPF, I got a full ceramic coating (Xpel) so there is no visible difference with the rest of the car. Throughout the process, Alex explained everything to me in simple terms that I could actually understand. He never tried to upsell me, and totally worked with the budget that I initially gave him. Did I mention that the work is IMMACULATE? Yeah, in addition to everything else, all of it is flawless. I couldn't be happier. I got 4 sides + rear + sun strip done here back in October 2023. The end result was excellent, as was the service by Alex. From the very beginning when I first requested a quote, to when I exited the lot after installation, Alex was very attentive, communicative, and kind. This, along with the extremely competitive price for XPEL brand tint + lifetime warranty (if I remember correctly), convinced me to proceed with Number One Tint shop for my first tint job for my first new car. Other places were charging 2-3x the price for the 3M brand, which isn't bad but isn't as good as XPEL. I have no regrets. The installation was pretty quick, I think about 3 hours. I stayed in the nearby Starbucks while I waited and Alex let me know when my car was ready. There is also a waiting room available. So I talked to Alex on Yelp and then via text and he got me in the next day. When he reviewed the options, he explained what people typically order when they come in for tints. I should have asked for the 5% on the back and the 15% on the front windows but didn't, I went with 15% all around. The thing is... I would come back sometime to redo the back. The price was great and the service was excellent. I will tell you-- this is not a quick in and out sort of job.
