Let me start by stating that even after moving to Arizona for 4 years I would still have my brother go into nutrishop and ship me out my supplements. The first time I walked in there was unlike any other wellness store (gnc, vitashoppe, etc..) where they push their most expensive supplements on you to make commission with no regards for your personal health. The guys and girls at nutrishop help you to choose the supplements that will work best for your needs & even go as far as getting you on a diet plan. All representatives I have encountered have been extremely knowledgeable and never made me feel pressured into anything like other stores have. The companies they contract with are top of the line and don't put all the unknown junk into their supplements that is becoming the norm these days. A few supplements that have worked well for me are: -Protein Synthesis, which is a whey protein. Chocolate is recommended but Vanilla is also good for mixing into fruit smoothies. -Glutacor, which is glutamine and comes flavorless. It's really helps with muscle recovery. -C4, which is a pre work out. Really gets you pumped for the gym. I have tried many flavors and the only one I do not recommend is fruit punch. -Various KreAlkalyns. I have tried a few different products, however each had different ingredients for different outcomes. This is where their knowledge really helps! All in all, Nutrishop will continue to get my business and a 5 star rating. Just wish they would start shipping products out, as their brands are hard to find elsewhere. read more

I've been going to this location for years. Nutrishop has very kind and helpful people, perfect for any level of fitness goers! Both owners have gone far beyond most supplement stores as far as customer service and dietary knowledge goes! I was sent out with the Army and Nutrishop as beyond military friendly, and always letting me know about promotions and way they can better serve myself or other service men. They even went out of their way to send me something out of state to my army base. I've never walked into a fitness/nutritional store and wanted to check out this place for their InBody analysis to see where I was in terms of Body Mass Index and Muscle Mass. Fangyi, the owner greeted me and walked me through the store. His associate and himself walked me through a detailed body analysis of where I would focus my fitness goals for a optimal and healthy range to be in. They recommended a few things and gave me samples of product to try but never pressured me into buying. If I walk into a market and ask for butter but instead they sell me a cake because it contains butter , would you complain? The same should go for supplements. I asked for kre Alkalyn (is that how u spell it?) And was sold pills that contained a fraction of what I needed and a whole lot of what I didn't . Same goes for my CLA, instead was sold some by product that contains a small amount . I didn't realize till a week later I've been ripped off. If they ask you if you need help say NO, they only wanna sell you their old inventory that doesn't sell. The protein powder they recommended was horrible as well read more

I recently joined the LA Fitness on valley view and Chapman for my new year resoand noticed this supplement store across street from the gym when I pulled up to the parking lot. I never really believed in sport supplements because I didn't think they would actually work and I honestly knew nothing about them. My workout life has been on and off like lots of my friends and now I'm at the point I feel I have to make a big progress and get in shape. I have a smaller frame so I still look kinda slim with clothes on but I always have very weak upper body and squishy stomach and legs. On the first a few days of the year I decided to check it out this sport supplement store after finishing my workout and this changed my life completely! The owners were super friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed, comfortable and well-informed. I learned so much from them! I first learned my body composition through the machine called Inbody. From the results it all made sense why I have squishy arms and legs because my muscle is so little that fell out of the normal range and my fat % is actually on the higher end. They explained to me that my fat % will decrease if I gain more muscle even my fat in Ib stays the same and it's important to take amino acids to protect and recover my muscle. I could feel they genuinely wanted to help me to reach my goals and I didn't feel being pushed at all. Later I found the amino acids helped me SO MUCH with the sore from working out and they are life savers lol. The owner also wrote me a customized meal plan too! Now I came back a month later to weight in I found out my muscle mass increased by 5 Ibs and fat % dropped by 3.5%. Even though my weight increased 2 IB BUT I look more fit and toned lol. I couldn't be happier!!! I'm so glad I was open to try new things and now I'm so confident I will make a huge progress before the summer hits. Great Job Nurtrishop Garden Grove! I guess I felt weird going into a nutrition shop being out of shape but these guys really made me feel great and pointed me in the direction I needed. Came in here today around 12:30pm hoping to learn more about basic nutrition and use the body fat machine to learn since I heard it was free. There was only one guy in the shop, didn't quite get his name. (tall buff white dude probably in his 30s- 40s.) I told him I was new to weight lifting and was interested in learning more about creatine. First he asked me what I was taking, in which I answered whey protein only. He told me not to worry about that yet and recommended me 3 foundation products for all weight lifters. Protein, glutamine, and BCAA. I wasn't really ready to spend a big chunk of money yet so I asked if I could use the Body fat machine. After stepping off it he printed a paper with all these information about my body comp, inclubing bmr, lean muscle mass, body fat, and water weight so cool! After that he asked me my goals. I told him to gain weight. He then calculated my macros in less then a minute and recommended me another product a weight gainer. I then asked him what if I wanted to stay the same and just gain muscle mass? This is when everything just went South. In a nutshell, he pretty much said I was wasting his time and that he was a PT and his time was valuable. He proceeded to give me my new macros and recommended me another product to density in my muscles. I pretty much felt bad at this point for wasting his time so I wanted to by that new product he just recommended. He told me I would also need one of the other products. The glutamine or whatever. I didn't really didn't expect to come in here spending over $100 in products so at this point I just told him I wanted to go home and think about it. He was not happy. Pretty much said I wasted his time just so that I can go home and buy online and let me go. Then when I was going in my car he walked outside his shop and asked for the paper he printed for me back. Pretty much saying its for customers only. Honestly I learned a lot from him in just around 5-10 minutes. The only problem was he was trying to sell me too many products at once which made me feel like I was being taken advantage of which is why i wanted to get out of there. Pretty much my impression from this store is come in here ready to spend over $100 or don't bother coming in at all. read more

A friend recommended this Nutrishop to me. I've been trying to tone up & slim down and was struggling a little bit and hit a plateau. Tom helped me and he was great. I felt like he was really, genuinely trying to help me reach my goal. Yes, I bought a bunch of things however, I must say everything he sold me was to help me escalate my transition and so far so good. It's been two weeks since I started following his recommendation and have already lost more weight than I did the month prior when trying it on my own. I am gaining more muscle as well.
