I enjoy that I've gotten no high pressure sales pressure at Nutrishop Glendora. The staff seems knowledgable about their products. They have a scale that measures your weight, BMI, muscle mass, etc. for no cost. They periodically have contests you can enter that are based on your body goals. The contests and prizes can help motivate you on your path to fitness. They'll help you write an eating plan for whatever body shaping goal you are trying to achieve. I don't like that prices are not displayed. That's probably because the prices are so high and they want to sell you on the potential benefits before they reveal the costs. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on their supplements versus purchasing supplements from other companies (online or other). They'll pitch the cost is for high quality products that outperform their competition. Having no access to a clinical lab, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Overall it is a nice place to shop, get advice, and plan your body shaping goals. read more

Was checking out UFC San Dimas on a Saturday afternoon so we decided to drive 3 miles to check out nutrishop Glendora. Located in a huge plaza down on route 66. Plenty of parking so that's not a problem. My friend and I were greeted by a friendly voice as we walked in. Didn't feel the pressure to buy anything at all which was amazing I hate feeling pressured. I got my whole body scanned which measured amount of muscle mass I have vs fat mass. Needless to say, I have work to do if I wanna burn off some of Dat fat. After my body was scanned, a printer printed out my overall results which was really cool. I could just walk in every month and check out my progress because it will be saved under my name in this nutrishop location. I live down in sgv so I'd probably go down to the nutrishop here for a body scan, but nick was very informative about what the different numbers and charts mean in relations to my body. Now that I'm actively going to the gym 3-4 times per week, I paid Nutrishop Glendora a visit to see if they had anything that could help me improve my workouts and show more visible results - like six-pack abs, perhaps??? Rick, the manager, introduced me to some of the products that they carried which included weight-loss supplements, vitamins and protein powders of all kinds. Since I was brand-new at this, he recommended the Nu-Tek Protein Powder which builds lean muscle and burns fat. So I purchased a big jar along with a glutamine supplement to take with the protein. It's now been six weeks since I first started taking the protein shakes and I've recently returned to Nutrishop to buy my second jar. This stuff works! My workouts have improved tremendously and I'm enjoying the results - leaner muscle, less fat and a higher metabolism. I'd highly recommend Nutrishop to anyone who wants to enhance their workouts and take their fitness programs to the next level. I still don't have the six-pack abs (yet), but I'm otherwise very happy with what I've achieved so far. read more

I was only browsing the variety of protein bars but the sales girls were friendly and offered samples of some BCAAs, which I ended up buying with a new customer discount. I was also offered, but not pressured, for a fitness assessment. Moral of the story, I received a warm greeting, a free shaker cup, a 15% discount, and a fitness assessment. I started working out and getting ~into~ fitness about a year ago just on my own. My friend told me about a challenge Nutrishop was holding where people checked in every two weeks and the top people won prizes. They use their inBody machine to take fat and muscle measurements so it has nothing to do with weight. Well, I'm a naturally competitive person and found that this challenge fueled my motivation to get in shape! I ended up winning second place in my category in that challenge and am currently in the middle of another right now! Now okay look I always thought Nutrishop was for muscle men, body builders, etc etc and it does cater to those people too but also for people like me! The people that work here are seriously so nice and they don't bs you. They aren't pushy but they do make recommendations. They've made recommendations to me before that I have done and have not done. Overall though my stack is AMAZING and I'm noticing big differences when I was taking supplements vs. when I wasn't. They always have sales and discounts so I do feel like I'm getting good deals. Overall, I feel comfortable here asking anyone for advice. I have been taking supplements for years and finally quit a few years ago because I wasn't seeing much of a difference. I was working out and received information on Nutrishop from Irvin in Glendora. He was very knowlegeable. I went to see him and told him that I was 62 and getting ready for the L.A. and Catalina Marathon in 2012. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some supplements and after taking them for awhile I am very impressed. I was actually having trouble standing straight at the end of the run. I have been coming here for the past two years and have been so appreciative of the knowledgeable staff!! I especially appreciate the owner- Rick who gave me an individual plan to lose body fat and put on muscle. For the past 8 weeks I was participating in the OTF transformation challenge and came in every Saturday morning to check my status. The staff were so helpful (wish I could remember all their names) and helped me to make adjustments each week to up my protein and keep consistent with my supplements. I had run out of my breakfast meal replacement powder I had gotten from another program. I noticed nutrishop next to where I get my physical therapy. I stopped in, talked to Michelle who was intent on fitting me with the right stuff. She gave me enough samples of Pro7ein in two different flavors because I explained I wouldn't be back for 4 days. She was very accommodating, took her time, explaining its benefits to me. When I came back, the store opened at 10am. She arrived at 9:35 and actually let me in.
