Mary is so sweet! I remember her when this was in the walnut location, but now they have moved here. Premium quality soy milk, soy dessert, buns and much more! Was able to try her fried tofu, and reheat it in my air fryer at home, so crisp, and good. Wish that she still sold some of her food items like she used to. Keep note that it is only open 4 days a week, and it gets busy on the weekends. The place is clean, not that big but has a good amount of things that they sell. The outside doesn't have a sign, as long as you go during the business hours it should be open. Give this place some love, will be back soon !

I finally got to try and visited this place. For my first time visit, I didn't know what to expect, since i did came here last week but the door was locked and i assumed they closed early and today it was locked again but I had a customer help me and they rang the ring door for the owner to come open the door for me. The owner was so sweet! Make sure to bring cash but they do take cc's... The only reason I came was for the tofu pudding. Better deal if you buy 4 or more which is $12 The moment I took my first spoonful, I was hooked. The tofu pudding was silky, smooth, and delicate, it practically melted in my mouth. It had that perfect fresh soybean flavor that's hard to find anywhere else. You can tell it's made with care and love. If you're a fan of classic tofu desserts or just looking to try something light and comforting, this place is a hidden gem. They do sell other stuff like fried tofu and all but much prefer the tofu pudding! Definitely coming back for more!

It was my first time here and I wish I know this place sooner. They have a variety of soy products, frozen dumplings, buns, and some Taiwanese sauces/noodles/seasoning. It's not cash only but there is a 5% credit card fee. The workers there are very nice and helpful. Their tofu pudding is really good. I would come back regularly.

Owner is very lovely and kind and friendly. She helped to answer all questions and gave information about storage. Was able to buy tofu pudding, non sweet soy milk and fried tofu, highly recommend!

All the tofu that they have

This facility makes tofu that deliver to major Asian supermarkets. I like buying from the source, knowing that it's more fresh from the source. They don't have product for you to look at, in a way, you kind of have to know what you want before going in. The lady at the cashier was nice to bring out the tofu that I inquired about so I can see what they are.

In a single story brick building in the corner of a small industrial park from a bygone era sits a TOFU factory and shop operated by a VERY lovely, highly enthusiastic woman, her sister and a gentleman. Super clean, very fresh tofu offerings. My favorites include the tofu skin, tofu noodle salad, tofu pudding, tofu block and when available the TOFU CHEESECAKE! Nice basic pantry items to complement the tofu. Lovely fall season pastries available now. I LOVE this little place and feel so lucky to have in my community. Limited hours of operation, come early, they do sell out to their faithful following.

Imagine my excitement when I overheard they reopened again! The familiar voice of the lady who calls all her customers "baobei". Their place in Walnut was my go-to tofu place back in the early days of college. They even had stinky tofu at one time!! All the taiwanese OG moms knew about this place. So anyway, long story short--they've reopened in a different city--at the end of a little unassuming street. They are basically a mini "factory" that makes tofu pudding, soy milk, all sorts of tofu products, condiments and healthier foods from Taiwan, plum and wintermelon tea, and my favorite sesame cold noodles!!!! They also have a frozen sections with buns, meat balls, etc. If you go on the weekend, they'll have tofu pudding with boba. I know SGV has a lot of places that make tofu pudding, but theirs is among the best in my opinion. So silky and lightly sweetened. Mmm. I just hate the drive there...I like 30 minutes away. Because they do tend to sell out of items, you can text or call their special number ahead and ask them to reserve items.

Always fun to introduce a friend to a cuisine you grew up eating. I remember this place near my dad's work in Walnut. They even had someone sell dumplings from the back of their car. When I mentioned this to the owner, she said: That was so long ago! I introduced some buns, tofu products, etc. to my Korean friend. She fell in love with the spicy fruity tofu jerky made in house. We even got to try a sample. She also wished she would've bought more. She bought some tofu dessert, tofu skins, buns, etc. I bought the taro bun, sesame bun, fried tofu, fried tofu skin, etc. My kids practically inhaled the tofu. NO stinky tofu though. She says they'll eventually have it. They do have tofu cheesecake but you have to specially reserve it and only available on weekends. My friend said she's going to bring her mom when she flies into town. So happy she liked the experience.

Mandarin Speaking lady behind the counter is very cute. Calls you precious after each sentence. She's very passionate about her tofu. Gave very thorough instructions on reheating and preparing. Came in originally for the tofu pudding and left with more: soy milk, buns, and onion pancakes.

Can anyone share tips on what one should order/reserve ahead or notes on what items sell out quicker? Any items they don't make/sell on certain days? Thanks!

Definitely try their fresh tofu block, tofu skin, and tofu dessert. Only on weekends they have tofu dessert with boba version. You won't regret!

The center itself is a big shopping hub with plenty of parking. it's always bustling, but I swear, no matter how busy, you can always find a spot just maybe a little walk from the front. It's been a couple months since my last visit, and wow, they've added a fantastic new section right as you walk in on the right-hand side. Now, they have a cozy coffee and breakfast area! They brew fresh coffee and serve breakfast sandwiches from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The prices looked super reasonable, like breakfast burritos or a cheese sandwich and I can't wait to try them, though sadly, I got there in the evening, so it was already closed. Next time, for sure! Of course, Sprouts is known for its fresh sushi, bakery, and their custom sandwiches. they really do a sandwich bar better than a certain big chain (cough, Subway). The price is about $5.99 or $6.99 with chips and water so it's a steal. My only gripe? They used to have this pesto sauce( my absolute favorite) and chipotle, honey mustard and it's gone! Now it's just mayo or mustard, which is a bit of a bummer. Management, if you're reading this, bring back pesto! Despite that, it's still a crowd-pleaser, always a line for those sandwiches, and for good reason. One thing I'm not a fan of is their fresh meat section. it's nice, but always overpriced. Whether it's chicken, salmon, or beef, I just can't justify it. Trader Joe's has better variety for less. On the bright side, their fresh produce is always top-notch, big sections, tons of snacks, vitamins, and even a great soap bar selection (I always grab a few). I got a roast beef sandwich on whole wheat it was divine and some fresh prepared salad and salmon for later. Plus, they have at least eight self-checkouts so helpful when it gets busy. They take all major credit cards, and I love that they have both big and small carts the smaller one makes navigating those aisles a breeze. All in all, a fun stop, and I'll be back. just, please, bring back pesto sauce for sandwiches!!
