A good place for healthy drinks and food. It has some good tasting items. Shakes don't taste like the usual protein mix that's like chalk or something. Food includes doughnuts. These are made with healthy plant proteins. Herbalife is the brand of the products here. It mostly makes protein shakes. These are made of the protein powder and water. It's not the only beverage here. They also have fruit teas. Among these are several colorful ones to choose from. They taste kind of sugary so maybe they aren't exactly healthy food but the tea is good though. I like the Incredible Hulk. It's about $6 for a large cup and it's very refreshing. They also have doughnuts so you can get the protein powder another way. It's about $3 for each. Prices are kind of high. The protein though is high quality so it makes it kind of okay. It seems like a good place for getting some healthier drinks. Picking up a healthier doughnut can also be done here. They also have a membership if you plan to come here often then it's a good idea to get this. read more

I enjoyed my experience at Nutrition 301. We went on a super hot day after a walk. I saw an advertisement on FB for a free smoothie for your first time and it did not disappoint. The smoothie was delicious! Upon entry we were greeted with a smile and cheerful welcome. You enter your phone number on the pad this displays your reward offers and gets you into their rewards system if you're a first timer. There was tons of hand sanitizer, drink specials on board, printed menus and menu on the wall. There's a seating area by the window with a small library and really cute decor. There's other 2 person seating tables along the wall. I had the pecan praline smoothie recommended by another patron. The smoothies are healthy but tastes like desserts. There's so many options. In addition, you can select what nutritional add-ins you'd like. If smoothies aren't your thing, you can choose from refreshing teas. I'm still unsure if they have vegan smoothie options - there were a lot of people who came in after us so I didn't get a chance to get the full details on what was in the smoothie. My partner purchased me an iced coffee drink from there another day and a coffee smoothie. Both were delish. It can be hard to miss - hence I didn't know it was there and it's in my neighborhood. There's a tree blocking the sign from the street view. There's free street parking as well. I definitely plan to become a regular. Had the pleasure of visiting this shop yesterday. Bought a shake and a tea to curb my appetite and they both worked. I ate only one meal yesterday. I am not big on this nutrition stuff so I told the guy behind the counter to just make me his favorite drinks that would slow down my appetite which is my biggest problem. They have shakes and teas both hot and cold to give you energy, with collagen, for appetite suppression etc. The prices were on the menu and they had several sizes to choose from. I'm going to try not to be too harsh, but I really wish I knew the truth about this place before I went. I'd been following their journey to open for a while on Instagram, and was very excited about another healthy smoothie place opening nearby. Let's be clear, that's not what this is. These folks are not being transparent about the products here. The "menu" is a list of teas and drinks named for unhealthy sweets like "Skittles tea" and shakes called Banana Split, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and the like. NOTHING on the menu is explained/described, and there aren't even any prices listed. You have ZERO idea what's in each item and oddly enough, the workers won't tell you either. I happened to glance behind the bar and see ZERO fruits and vegetables, which should've been my first red flag, but silly me was just too eager to try it out. There aren't even any prices on the menu. They insist you get both a tea/coffee AND a shake which I didn't understand and they didn't explain. Here's the other thing, everyone here is super in shape and dare I say buff--men and women. So again, I'm paying attention to none of the signs because--pressed--but if you're wondering what I saw behind the counter instead of real food, it was Herbalife. Alllllll Herbalife canisters of all sizes, I was a little weirded out but forged forward by getting the Strawberry Banana shake to play it safe. It was DISGUSTING. Tasted sooooo sweet and WEIRD. Not like strawberries and definitely not like banana. It was $8 which wasn't bad, but it was bad in the sense that I threw the shake away as soon as I got outside, and I don't like throwing away money. The fact that this place has nutrition in the name is nothing but a farce. It's an elaborate plot to get people involved in the Herbalife lifestyle--they try to sell you fitness programs while you're in there, and have before and after pics hanging up of the people who've succeeded. I'm not knocking the hustle, but are you even allowed to not list the ingredients of your products on the menu? What if there are allergies or restrictions? What if people don't want to consume Herbalife?!??!?! It was just sooo many weird things going on, my friend was suspicious immediately. For the first 10 minutes we were there we didn't understand anything that was going on or what they were actually selling, now we know that was on purpose. I gave them 2 stars because everyone was very nice and 1 star feels harsh to me for a new small business. This is not a bad review, it's just a statement of facts. I wasn't even going to write it because I only like doing reviews I feel good about. I don't feel so good about this one. 1) how do you make healthy smoothies without fruit and or vegetables? There are none in this establishment. 2) Why should someone try to up-sell me on my purchase, aggressively even. If I say I only want a "smoothie" (that contains no fruits or vegetables) then that's all I want. I don't want a "healthy tea" to go with it. 3) And this is the point that really got my goat. Why should I have to pay $8.00 for a smoothie ( with no vegetables or fruit) that isn't that tasty, doesn't even have a healthy name (skittles, Captain Crunch) when I can go to Nu Vegan cafe, get a delicious smoothie WITH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES that tastes GREAT for $5.00. AND you get a generous amount! I'm not knocking the hustle, I mean the service is great and the people are just awesome. It's the product that needs improvement. Overall I'm really unclear on what this place is serving and really writing this review for them. I'm not sure if these beverages are supposed to be healthy for real or if they're beverages with a healthy twist, giving you a healthier benefit by adding protein, etc that you would not get from a regular establishment that sells nutrionless sweet drinks. My opinion is that it is supposed to be a "healthier" (like lower sugar, and added protein) alternative. Also, this appears to be a powder based establishment, and nothing wrong with that...there are plenty that do that. Just be clear you are not getting fresh juices and blended fruits from here. The names and descriptions make you feel like you're going to get an amazingly flavored beverage, the product did not live up to the names/descriptions for me. My berry vitamin drink tasted exactly like jello mix...and me being silly almost took it home to place in the fridge to see what would happen (I just disposed of it instead). My friend barely sipped her PB shake and said it only tasted like PB powder. The product, the pricing, the amount of time to make was all confounding. I will say the atmosphere and decor is cool, it would be a great little nook to sit down and have a conversation. With a menu/recipe revamp, I would give it another try. Great tasting shakes that has 24 grams of soy protein and a variety selection of flavors. Also I enjoy sipping on the very refreshing energy and metabolism boosting teas hot or cold that flavors are incredible. I'm still amazed that more flavors are being introduced also I'm 1001% positive that I'm not a coffee guy BUT! This coffee isn't just coffee it's super coffee lol that have 2 options house blend and mocha I always get mocha with some chocolate protein rebuild you wouldn't believe you're drinking on coffee healthy coffee. This is my favorite spot to go and grab a healthy delicious smoothie and energy tea. I love the positive energy and the warm welcome every time I walk through the doors. Apparently this is an Herbal Life store which i don't know anything about Herbal Life products. With that being said I was not at all familiar with the items listed on the menu. Although this place is labeled a NUTRITION drink shop I had no clue to what was in the drinks i ordered or what each drink was suppose to do (ie: energy, fat burn, etc). I hope they take a note from other smoothie/drink shops or even the local ihop and at the very least give the consumer a brief description of each product on the menu verse just a random name of a drink. What if im allergic to something? Shouldn't i know before i mistakenly order it??? The worst thing was that my total was a complete surprise, as there are no prices listed anywhere for anything. My friend and I took the advice of an employee there and we each ordered a tea and my friend also ordered himself an additional creamy smoothie topped with Reese's pieces ... My bill for the 3 drinks was $38. I gagged. I was not at all expecting to spend nearly $40.00 on three POWDER and water mixed beverages that i had no clue what was even in them.
